I work at borgwarner plant in Bellwood I’ll.
My complaint is regarding a co worker who happens to be an area supervisor, Antoinette Jamison. Since when do we allow employees to be tardy constantly and not get reprimanded and have the audacity to reek of marijuana upon arrival. She is rude and inconsiderate. She makes the work environment unbearable at times and she is in no way capable of being a supervisor. She is rude and bully’s her employees and plays favorites.

I wirk in ithaca plant we 2 sets of rules one by union contract and one company follows. They take holiday pay away from certain people ( emergency) and other people late on qualifying day and they get paid. Uppet management picks and chooses depending on who you are. The place is so mismanaged its unbelievable. After 28 yrs i didnt think things could get much worse but they certainly do everyday . Its the worst ive ever seen it. Safety is not a priority at all. You adress an issue with them they agree its a problem and thats the end if it. I hope corp.starts paying better attenion

It is my understanding that here at the Ithaca NY plant we have rules to go by like if we have a quality alert every shift should be following it but that is not the case the only shifts that are is 1st and 3rd shift. And it’s a major quality alert that happened on 2nd shift to start with and they are the ones that are not following proceedure. So how is that right I understand that we need production but what good is it if we get chain back because they are not following proceedure? It’s in hyvo department.

I am a employee of borgwarrener in Ithaca new york. I right along with my fellow co workers would like to know if our plant rules are for everyone or just a few people? The reason for this question is that we have 3 people that was given a certain job title almost a year ago and have yet had to do the work that the job requires but is still getting the the rate for that job and are going to qualify for that job without even having to do it. While the rest of us either had to or still has to qualify for the same job. Specially when you are suppose sign a paper stating that you are physically capable of doing what the job requires and there is one person that signed it that is not physically capable of doing the job but they gave it to them anyway. And the other thing is if the rules do apply to everyone then how can certain people go smoke cigarettes every 30 to 40 minutes every hour or sit on the fork truck hide behind tanks of parts on thier cell phone for 20 minutes a day when it’s not break time? These last to thing happen on day shift in the hivo department. P.s. I want to thank you for your time. And I do really like my job here at borgwarrener but when you see this stuff going on it’s to me not fair.

I work at Borg Warner in Bellwood Illinois everyone all the operators are being treated unfairly we have a bidding process also we have a rule book that human resources nor the PLL or upper management a bye bye they recently moved a lot of people that did it on the ship that they preferred but they couldn’t but no one if they decided to bump but all of a sudden they just up and move people around whether they wanted to remove the night the reason people bid on a shift that day are on is because of family they claim Warner is a family Corporation but it’s not everyone is griping they also threaten people about if you don’t like the job going to the labor pool or you can quit someone from corporate needs to come in and just watch the procedures and audit them because a lot of people are unhappy. When we have customers in upper management falsified doXXXXents as far as machines that haven’t been passed through OSHA that bypasses guards when they need to but when customer comes in they start running the machines there firing people because unsafe practice but yet they’re practicing unsafe practices just to get by we have a lot of customer complaints and the reason being is because upper management focus on small things instead of focusing on how people are running 3 different machines and all the machines is not being p.m. or being taken care of with the technicians I wanted to stay Anonymous I am an employee there I am not on the floor but I observe a lot of things that goes wrong even some of the people that works up front is so unhappy.
