I am a long time customer of BB&T and for an hour I have called every 800 number
available and have not talked to a real person. Also called 336-733-2500 and
no one picked up to answer the phone. WHAT IS GOING ON? Is it because
of the Sun Trust take over. I had a question and there is no one to talk to.

We just called the 1 336 733 2500 and it picked up on the first ring. Be sure to put a “1” in front of the area code.

I wish I could say something good about BB&T. But I can’t….Ever since they took Over Susquehanna Bank in Conygham, Pa, I tried to stay with them but finally bailed out to another bank. The local personnel were fantastic as they were primarily former Susquehanna employees.
One of my farming vendors needed a form verifying information about the business account and BB&T never replied, even after 3 attempts. I lost that opportunity to have a line of credit with that vendor. Thank You BB&T !

My complaint is the HOA Bank Account open with BB&T 2010, I used to get Bank Statements on the HOA Account monthly. After the Management Contractor was hired the bank sent bank statements to the Manager. For a year I have been trying to get copies of the HOA Account monthly statements and was given all kinds of excuses. I was finally told that the account number I am proving is not active and is closed.

I asked BBT staff questions on the account and get no answers. The association bank account had large sums of money in the bank for property improvements and now there is no such account. I need answers. ASAP, please contact me at(214) 674-XXXX

I have been a longtime client of BB&T since it took over our local Susquehanna Bank several years ago in my area . I maintain a considerable balance in both my checking and savings accounts. In addition, I own two businesses in the area and was considering transferring my business accounts to your institution. As of late , I am extremely dissatisfied bordering on enraged with the service in all three of my local branches. In brief, I have been waiting since March 2018 to get a replacement card for my daughters Leap Account who is a college student living out of state. After her card was stolen in March I have been trying to get a replacement for her. Simple you might say ? Not at BB&T , I assure you The first attempt never yielded a card being issued nor did the second nor the third attempt resulted in mailing the card with the wrong name on it. All the while my daughter has been stranded in another state without a way for me to send her money through a bank card. I have been told erroneously that she had to be physically present with two forms of ID (which is incorrect) causing her to have to make unnecessary trips back to PA and I have wasted 4 full lunch hours at your branches with either overtly unfriendly tellers or personnel who would not summon a supervisor telling me it would be at least an additional hours wait. In addition, today’s teller told me that the new card cannot be linked to my card which is the whole purpose of the leap account. What I fail to understand is that if a disgruntled client appears who has been screwed three times by your branches and relates this, why in the world does someone ignorant in the issuing of this card continue to handle it and continue to spew misinformation. I do not know how you run your operation but I do know that what is going on in these branches as concerns customer service is totally unacceptable. In all likelihood, I will cancel all my personal accounts with your institution once I establish new accounts with another bank and I shudder to think what your business banking is like if this is how customers are treated. In addition, to add insult to injury, I was charged monthly fees and replacement card costs on the leap account which could not used. I would appreciate a follow up by someone in management in your organization before I begin to share my experience on social media .

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Marianne Fracica
