The company was founded in 1940 by Edwin Hewitt as Edwin Shields Hewitt and Associates. The company originally was a brokerage house focusing on insurance and personal financial services.
In the 1970’s Hewitt developed and marketed its Benefit Index to track performance of benefit programs. This index was the first in the industry.
By the early 2000’s the company was operating in the United States, England, Ireland, and Malaysia and had 150 corporate clients and over $2 billion in revenue.
In 2010 Hewitt was acquired by Aon, a British multinational that provides risk management, insurance, reinsurance brokerage, human resource solutions, and outsourcing services through 500 offices in 120 countries.
Hewitt was then merged with Aon Consulting Worldwide to create Aon Hewitt and is now operated as a subsidiary of Aon plc.

called AON 12-4-2019 told them my account now shows my wife as the primary instead of me and that she received the 2020 REVIEW letter with her ID# on it and what my previous employer, UPS, will be contributing to my spending account in 2020, but that I never received my letter showing the same information. UPS RRA spending account has now denied the last 4 Priority Health monthly premiums for reimbursement. no help from an AON rep Ms. Martini, no call back as promised so sending formal complaint to the UPS management committee for assistance and that UPS consider no longer recommending AON Hewett to future UPS retirees. you folks had your chance!!!

Ever since my husband, Joseph R. Brabo III passed away on 12/27/2018, I have been having extreme problems with Aetna and my health insurance coverage as a survivor. Calling Aetna, I was repeatedly told, to contact “United” aka United Benefits/AON Hewitt. I have been contacting AON Hewitt via YBR.com/United, going back to February 2016, and recently Jul 23, 2018, asking for help via emails and letters, to get Aetna’s serious mistakes resolved. On August 10, 2018, I mailed a Priority Large Envelope to United Benefits, The Advocacy Team at 9500 Lakeside Blvd, The Woodlands, TX 77381, signature required, as listed in one of your emails, which has received on 8/15/2018 at 11:23 AM and signed by “CC” as per Spring, TX Postal Service. I also provided the tracking number. However, I have been receiving multiple emails, to resend my doXXXXentation, which I have been unable to do, due to limited funds. On 8/27/2018, I received more emails that the Advocacy Team has received it and is in the process to research it, and for me to be patient until I being contacted my an Advocate! On 8/31/2018, another email was received that “they don’t have access to my doXXXXentation”!
I also made your personnel aware that I was in the process to get ready to attend my husband’s (RIP) Military Funeral on the West Coast in a very few days, and your call center wanted by telephone number to possibly interfere with the sacred service.
Summary:
I have been mourning the death of my husband of 55 years, and I cared for him more than 6 (years) with his failing health, and at the same time have to be dealing with Aetna for 8 (eight) months and AON Hewitt for several weeks. Besides the Priority package, I have also mailed at least 8 (eight) letters to the Woodlands, TX address during the last several weeks, however, no replies have been forthcoming. I also have extended the deadlines from 8/20/2018 through 8/30/2018, which have also been ignored.
Ever since our health care coverage changed from BCBS to Aetna, I have experienced an unpleasant customer/business relationship, demanding that I contact Aetna and AON Hewitt only in writing, which I have been doing. I am 79 years old and disabled, a German legal Immigrant, and it seems that there is discrimination involved, due me being required to conduct my business only in writing! Please be advised that I will be unable to perform any more business with Aetna and AON Hewitt in writing, and I don’t have the funds to hire a Third Party, Party, paying $100.00/hour fee. I immediately demand that AON Hewitt assigns a certain representative to me, who I can address any further problems with Aetna and AON Hewitt respectively. If my demands are not met, I won’t have another choice but to contact Government Agencies for investigation concerning Aetna’s mistakes and AON Hewitt’s delay tactics and possibly discrimination.

Am retired employee of the Hartford. AON has been assigned health care benefits for retired employees. We’ve been speaking with Sandy Kroll since early November. Coverage my husband and I agreed to was not subscribed as agreed. We’ve been promised answers for weeks. No one ever calls back as promised. Enrollment period is almost up and we have no coverage. Exasperated. Will contact Hartford to see if they can help. aON certainly isn’t.

Hi, to whom it may concern,
I’m Bradford Sampson,
I have a disability claim at Aon Hewitt, I am looking for contact information for their corporate headquarters office to make a complaint and hopefully get some resolve before seeking legal representation. If this is not the correct department to contact, is there any way you can help provide the corporate headquarters contact information via, phone or email. Thank you for your time…
