We sent correspondence regarding gas employees, who do the “Annual Leak Survey” at our house causing trouble year(2018)after-year(2019). 2018 after dropping a man off a 1/2 mile from our house, the other employee pulled up to our house front in the country with no houses around ours in any direction, got out and urinated. He urinated directly in front of our surveillance camera that had been “criminally damaged” previously. After the other employee met up with him, they sat for about 6-8 minutes then drove off.
This year (2019) one of the two employees from the year before shows up with a sheriff escort; the deputy said he was called to make sure we do not “prevent him from doing his job?”
We are infuriated. The implication is that we are the problem, rather than your employees on the gas side out of Kewanee, IL. We requested contact last year, which we never got, and we are requesting contact this year, which we are still waiting for after previous contacts (pleural) already.
We especially would like to have something in writing that explains what an “H” pattern is and how it should be performed annually for the “Annual Leak Survey,” and we do NOT mean URINATING – like your employee did, regarding gas utilities. We await a response regarding our complaint and our request.

Has any received a call back. or anything. If not we all need to talk. Theres no one but me and my kid and my last to bills were 546.00 and $669. I stay in 856sqft My bill used to be a little over $150 or so. Until they replace the meter. And reps on the phone unless it’s over $800 we can’t do an audit. I purschased my home in April but I didn’t move into my home until I was moved out my place I lived in before I bought my home which was a townhome, & that lease didn’t end till July prior to moving I paid my ameren bill down & it has a balance of 0 , so my official move in date of my home was going to be the middle of august but I got a call About my sick grandparents who both stay in Minnesota so I was there for a month after moving out my townhome long story short , it’s time for me to move in my home I’ve purchased now this around the end of august maybe I call to set up services at my new address , so they all like well we can’t do that because someone already has services there & are living there & it saying you been living there since April I said NO MAM I BOUGHT THIS HOME IN APRIL !! I HAD A TOWNHOME WHOSE LEASE WASNT UP TILL JULY SO I DIDNT MOVE INTO MY HOME she goes well someone is using Service at that address & it got established in April so it’s nothing we can do unless I speak to who you bought home from to assure the lights are not still in his name , it’s all a lie because when I moved here no lights were own in the home , so all of a sudden someone living there using the address then they tried to tell me maybe I had someone else put lights on in their name for me AGAIN WHY WOULD I DO THAT & I HAVE A 0 BALANCE WITH YOU ALL ! IT MAKES NO SENSE ! HERE IT IS SEPTEMBER & THEY ARE STILL TELLING ME THE SAME THING IVE SPOKE WITH THEM WITH THE MAN I BOUGHT HOME FROM IN FRONT OF ME ! Again I’m Erica Henderson. I’m a single mother of six children children one with a mental disability and a child who is asthmatic. I am currently a full-time student at St Louis college of health careers and I work at SSM St Mary’s Hospital PRN due to going to School. I have been applying for a second job and have been on several interviews with Washington University School of Medicine. I fell behind trying to go to school with the goal of making more money to be able to pay my bills and to take care of my children. But it seems that this goal has gotten me further in a rut. I have fallen behind with my light bill and several other bills so I am pinching here and there to pay anything I can to keep things on. I do not like NOT paying my bills it bothers me honestly but in order for me to be able, & function in this world as a human being and a person in general I have to go to school to make more money to be able to live. I am honestly working toward getting all of my bills paid down with a goal of getting my credit back together all I’m asking is that you all work with me please.

My power was shut off for a tree service that was cutting down a tree on May 30, 2017 at 9:30am. A ameren technician knock on my door at 9:10am, to let me know my power will be shut down, so a tree could be removed. An that my electric would be back on by 4-4:30pm. A reconnect tickets was made at 4:12pm, an I have contacted ameren 4x about getting my power turned back on. The only answer customer service is giving me, ” A ticket has been created, but no technician had gotten it.”
My power had been out for over 12hrs with no response as to when it will be back on. It’s after 2am an my power is still off. This is unacceptable. There is no reason why I’m with no power for this long. An no type of communication from ameren.

I am writing because I am in a Bankruptcy and my case number (17-43251)was sent over Friday 5/19 and I called Friday to make sure it was sent in and I got no answer and was told by automated message they could not assist me. Monday 5/22 while I was at work my power was just off with my newborn baby at home. I called once again to get assistance with this matter and was told once again by automated message they could not assist me. I am highly frustrated by the lack of customer service. I found a working number and got thru after a long wait, and was told the bankruptcy dept was closed. I NEED MY POWER ON NOW FOR MY CHILD OR I WILL BE SUING. This is ridiculous. I would like a response or my lawyer will be in contact with you.

I am struggling to pay my Ameren bill I have medical conditions but are nit allowed a hardship because I’ve had one prior but I’m so desperate I have to pay $1,157 by June 22nd and God knows I don’t have it please help some kind of way please I’m begging you we cant live without any power it’s really really hot please if anyone out there can help me please Ameren Corporation I understand you get many complaints or issues from people but we are desperately in need of help can anyone please help me I’m begging. To whom it may concern. I have a Bill for 2,400 dollars, I’ve no way to pay at this time. My Bill is due on April 10, 2017. I am disabled as well as my wife. We cannot survive without power and gas. We only receive 733 dollars a month total. I am 61 years old and my wife is 55. We both have medical equipment that requires electricity. I know that you need your money but the winter weather has caused us additional payments. I will receive a lump sum check for my disability the first part of May. Could you please work with us. I can offer to pay you 1,100 the first part of May. I then can pay around 200 a month there after untill the Bill is payed. I know that’s not alot but we are in a really bad situation and can only do the best we can in this situation. If for some reason you cannot except this offer we have no choice but to have our lights and has cut off. If that happens your company cannot get any money because we’ll have to arrange to move and spend our money to relocate etc. We would much rather pay you what we can in the offer and catch up as opposed to the latter. I have never asked for a hardship before and ask that you trust me and except my offer. If not could you give me a counter offer with what I have express in this correspondence and i will see of I can except the offer. Like I said, I won’t have any mony untill the first part of May nd any offer you give me would have to begin after then. We really need your assistance at this time. Ameren is disregarding and not maintaining safety lights on transformer towers & and not accepting calls for their cross country towers in local unincorporated rural areas they do not service. These lights spanning across the river into Missouri fail frequently and Ameren will not give us a physical address of the tower to report its outage and will not file a report without a physical address. The lines cross the
river 20 miles North of Cairo, Illinois 5 miles south of Thebes, Illinois.
The Transformer tower power line hazard lights spanning across the Mississippi River along with the transformer tower lights along the sides of the river go out four to five times a year leaving the high voltage power lines in complete darkness unseen by barges or small aircraft. The power companies will not take reports when these lights go off and the lights remain off from dusk to ten to eleven pm. At
other times these lights are always on. If these lights are a necessity to public safety and the electric company won’t take calls on the lights condition who protects the public?
The lights were off again last night, April 3rd from 6pm to 9:30pm. Ameren Illinois was contacted but their customer service reps reply that they cannot process the call, the customer service representatives claim they do not know how to report this and will not tell us who to call for problems on the grid towers spanning across the Mississippi river and two states, Illinois and Missouri and then inform me
they will not do anything leaving the dark transformer towers unreported.
I live next to the transformer tower and I’m worried. The power lines of the transformer are invisible in the night and reports of aircraft flying into these types of power lines frequently make the news.
The lights are located 20 miles upriver North from Cairo, Illinois on the Mississippi river in between Olive Branch Illinois and Thebes Illinois and the tower sits on Rural Fayville Road, a dirt road 5 miles north of the T-intersection of Fayville Road and Rt. 3. Ameren ustomer service wants a physical address and phone number for this part of your electric grid and will not forward the problem. Per today no Ameren trucks have checked the safety of the towers since the lights went back on.
