They expanded rapidly and in 1935 the Schlumberger Well Surveying Corporation was founded in Houston, Texas. They later evolved into Schlumberger Well Services, and then Schlumberger Wireline and Testing.
In 1956, Schlumberger Limited was created as a holding company for all of the Schlumberger businesses, which included the American company, Johnson Testers.
The company continued to invest heavily in research, and in 1981 they established the first data links with email.
Schlumberger invested in numerous joint ventures throughout their history; notably Dowell Schlumberger with Dow Chemical in 1960, specializing in pumping services for the oil industry and M-I L.L.C. with Smith Internationalin 1999, the world’s largest drilling fluid company.
Today Schlumberger supplies the petroleum industry with seismic acquisition and processing, formation evaluation, well testing, directional drilling, well cementing and stimulation, artificial lift, flow assurance and consulting, software and information management, groundwater extraction, and carbon capture and storage.
Schlumberger has more than 120,000 employees and works in more than 85 countries worldwide. Their operating income for 2012 was $7.2 billion.

It appears in Midland Texas that Schumberger does not take safety seriously. I do work for as a contractor to as such watch the land owners property. I have verbally spoke to over 20 Schumberger employees including managers about speeding on lease roads with no discipline to the offenders. It appears to be a Schumberger attitude issue. Not only do they abuse their equipment but drive like total idiots. My next step will be letting the land owner know who he has endangering his property and livestock along with being safe.

Rodgers Jr. Had no domestic violence convictions and no assault convictions. on the contrary Mr. Rodgers was convicted of Assault and recklessly cause of injury on 7/12/2013 Alaska Court Case number 3AN-13-05891CR , he was then convicted of violating a protective order and violating probation on 2/14/2014 Alaska Case number:3AN-13-12667CR . Glen J. Rodgers lied and falsified information telling HR in Anchorage Alaska that he was charged but never convicted. This is false.
Glen J. Rodgers Jr. Has also been submitting false income earnings to the Alaska CSSD for child support and not submitting his full earnings. Please see attachments.
It has always been my understanding that Schumberger will not hire unethical characters. Mr. Rodgers has been dishonest and committed many acts of fraud in order to obtain employment and not pay his child support. I know that many good people have lost their jobs due to company wide layoff’s and feel it unfair that he continue to keep his employment based on false pretenses.
