I purchased a set of new Firestone Indy 500 tires that supposedly had a $60 rebate. I received the receipt and rebate card, but did not notice that I had five days to submit the rebate. I literally called two days after it expired and was told that I was out of luck. What a scam. I tried reaching someone in corporate and of course, they do not return calls or emails.

Postentially the worst customers service on the planet. They damaged my car badly during an alignment. David Verde is a horrible example of someone who should handle a claim. They have behaved in bad faith despite reports from their own location that nothing was wrong with the car. They fail to stand by their work as claimed on the wall of every location. Not only was my car damaged by the Delray location the master tech at the Boca Eaton location froze my bushings so that the car is aligned to go off the Rosa at the count of three. We are planning on filing a lawsuit and advise others not to believe their false advertising that they stand behind their work.

I don’t have a complaint. I purchased a Subaru (2012) with Bridgestone tires and I now have 101,000 miles on the vehicle with the original tires. I have to purchase new tires and I was wondering if you have any good promotions for I can’t afford $1200.00 for them. I am keeping my vehicle but I want the same tires. No one can believe I have the original tires. They are great tires. I recommend anyone to buy these tires. I will be waiting for a reply from you and I hope corporate gives this note to your CEO. Thank you,

On October 25th 2017 I was driving north on Inter State 49 heading to Shreveport La. The weather was clear and the temp was 54 degrees when at 70 mph the left rear tire just came apart. These are 20″ tires mounted on a Chevrolet Tahoe they have less than 10,000 miles, the tread is still like new and there is no damage on the tread. The side wall just came apart and shredded. I did not hit anything and the high way was clear, traffic lite. I would like to have someone inspect this tire and receive compensation for a replacement if found to be defective. I can send pictures if needed. I live in zone 71489 Louisiana. Please respond via E Mail,

    Thanks RLG

I have been buying Bridgestone MC tires for forty years. I just had one where a bulge showed in the tire after 11,000 miles causing problems with the operation of the MC 1800 CC 2005 Honda Goldwing. I took my MC to Steve’s cycle at 2217 E. Main Street Mesa, Arizona 85213 phone # 480-964-4754. Steve is telling me this is cause by improper air pressure in the tire. I check the air two and three time a week. I believe the tire was defective and this is why the bulge. If this tire blew, I ride freeway a lot, I could have been killed. I believe you owe me for a new tire.

I am writing to inform you of the wonderful service we received at Firestone in Valdosta GA. We had been having a difficult day with a blown tire and came in on a tow truck 10min before closing time. Despite our poor timing the staff was incredibly patient and friendly. Mike took the time to discuss the best tire options with us and was very friendly. Ray was so wonderful and went out of his way to ensure our safety and teach us about proper tire care. Ray stayed late with a smile on his face and even took the time to check our spare tire. We will never forget the things he taught us or the fantastic service we received! Mike and Ray even took the time to answer several questions after the shop was closed. My husband and I attempted to tip them for going above and beyond but they refused. So please pass along our deepest gratitude!!

I have seen motorcycle tires and their utter duilbartly is divided among many factors. The two main ones are soft tread and hard tread. Soft is for higher cornering speeds and hard is for urban environments that do not need such high velocity speeds for the motorcycles.Great Piece,B. guy

Tire valve caps are the final seal again potential faliure in the valve of the valve stem. A good tire valve cap will come with high quality rubber seal that push against the cirXXXXferential ‘ring’ of the valve stem and thereby help to contain the air should the valve fail or not containing the air very well. You observation of your tire (the one with the missing cap) losing air confirms that this could be a possibility.Of course, the other possibility is that your tire is having a slow leak go to any petrol station, and it could be rectified at a minimal cost.Note: Even if the valve is perfectly good, if the tire go over a bump or pot hole, it is still susceptible to lost of air due to the additional pressure asserted during the hit.

hi i have no other way to contact you guys so im as a disappointed customer wanted to complain that when i went to go get my new tires recently i was told it would take an hour and i waited for 3 hours and that you guys couldn’t fix my low pro tires that was a flat and it took 4 mechanics to just tell me they couldn’t do it very disappointing. I was told by one of your employee to bring it to town fair tires and they only charged me $4.20 to fix it while your people was struggling with it for $20 and I left it with them for less than 20 min and they called me already, I asked them how much would they charge me for tires and they said they would of beat your price by 5% and would of had my car at the time they said they would. Im just a disappointed customer but after hearing this I’m taking my service elsewhere. I’m located in Fitchburg,Ma 01420 and I been your customer in the past but i wont be coming back anymore unless you can offer me something better or all my family and people are gonna take our service elsewhere.

I have contacted Bridgestone, by email 2 times ib the last week. One was to the attention off the CEOS. I have yet to hear from them. I have an extreme problem with their most recent commercial. the commercial talks between husband , wife, and child in a car seat they rolled over a nail strip, she says basically that they are safe for 50 miles. He retorts, especially because we’re going commando and the side of the road isn’t safe. The kid then asks, what’s commando. What kind of a message is Bridgestone sending? This commercial is disgusting, lacks good taste, insults moral values of corporate responsibility. I asked Bridgestone to answer, how going commando applies to their product. So, does going without underwear have anything to do with the sale of tires? What kind of image are you trying to project. I thought that the whole goal of a commercial, was to try to get me to buy your product. Your lack of response, shows me that you don’t care about your public image, well sir, then I don’t care either. Good luck , to all you corporate geniuses who drive going commando. Let me know how many tires you sell doing so, as it really is an ingenious twist on sales. What the f$$$ were you. Thinking? Bonnie crim

I purchased a new set of tires last year (June 1st, 2013) from Alyeska Tire in Soldotna, Alaska, where I was working a job 200 miles from home. One flat left me deciding to buy 4 new tires.. but I couldn’t get home to my normal dealer.
As it would happen, Alyeska Tire sold me 4 new tires.. that were 10 years old! (how would I know?). These tires became bald and show signs of belt separation .. after only 14,300 miles. It seems Bridgestone has granted Alyeska Tire a little less than 80% compensation, BUT I MUST BUY REPLACEMENTS FROM ONLY WHATEVER TIRES THEY HAVE IN STOCK OR I WILL NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION.
Now, Id like to go back to my normal, LOCAL dealer.. but this is tying me to them, and quite frankly, Im not anxious to be tied to the company who sells 10 year old tires to me.
So, Id like to see if I can in some way shift the compensation to me.. or my normal tire dealer and NOT require me to do business with the same company that sold me the bad tires.
Its been many years since Iv had Bridgestone tires.. Mostly I deal in terms of 4×4, and Bridgestone doesn’t do my kind of tires. Quite frankly, this deal is kind of a window from Bridgestone. My wife has a Ford Focus.. the only thing bringing me to passenger tires.
Integrity means more to me than ANYTHING going.. and this will bring Bridgestone to be examined for future business.
I have not found the correct department to send this to.. but maybe you can do this for me. Or at the very lease, can you provide me an email address of the proper department ?
    Thank you most graciously,
    Gary Crockett

I had a bad experience at a firestone store in shreveport,la. a few weeks ago. We were coming back from the vet. had a sick cat in the truck and i saw that one front tire was low i managed to get to a Firestone tire store on Bert Koons Ind. Loop in Shreveport,La just wanted everyone to know not to go there for any reason. Any way i contacted a service tech. and he stated that there was a 2 hour wait time for any thing to happen to repair or even look at the low tire, now its 98 degrees F I am on oxygen and really disabled in hot weather draging a oxy bottle around in that kind if heat , they said there was a tire co. down the street . Sooooooo….. i loaded my oxy bottle back up (they did put air in the tire) went down the street to a place called Gateway Tire (they are a big busy store) I explaind while i am still in the truck ac going full bore. got escorted to a AC waiting room my wife and said sick cat they took the tire off right in the driveway could not be fixed due to running on a flat(4×4 weighs a lot) Put 2 new tires on said truck to the sum of around 456USD. NOW not only did Firestone lose that money but my futher involment with their CO. O did i mention was out in less than 1.5 hours!! R.C.WELLS RET.U.S.NAVY born DEC 7. 1938 Many,Ia.

I purchased a FS591 Steer Tire at the BCR in Odessa,Tx on 06-09-14. 2 Weeks later I discovered that they had installed a 11R22.5 and Not the 295/75R22.5 that my receipt shows I paid for. Now I have 2 different size front tires and can’t get anyone at GCR to CORRECT THE MISTAKE THEY MADE.Thanks, Roger

Yesterday my daughter and I worked 10 hours on the USPS food drive as volunteers. I got a bolt in my tire so I went to the Firestone in Norman Oklahoma on Main St at 5:00pm. Closing for this store was 7:00pm. I was told by the clerk that he didn’t have time to help me but I could come back tomorrow. We had already taken off then tire and had the small spare on it. There were only 2 people in the store waiting one was checking out. This is the first and last time I will ever go to Firestone. When we left we drove to Hibdons Tires arriving just after closing. Not only were we treated nice they remained open and fixed my tire for free. We were also told how much they appreciated Us for coming back to them time and time again. Thanks for nothing Firestone. I made sure to post on facebook this store and since I have family across the US it has been shared so everyone know what customer service your stores provide.

I work at the Holly Springs,Nc Firestone as a tech. Recently had a distal biceps tendon repaired under workers comp April 23 2014. 2 days prior to surgery,dr stated I would be out 1-3 months. Now at my first post p.o. visit May 2, Dr appruptly says I can return to work the following Monday with no use of my left arm. This sounds absurd! I can’t even dress myself or drive a car. I was just fitted for a splint and haven’t had my first physical therapy appt yet. Whose responsible if I slip or fall and reinjure my harm or something else? My Store manager and district are dumbfounded has well.

Had a tire put on at your location in Panama City, Fl. They then clearly added air to all my nitrogen filled tires that are marked with a green cap on the valve stem. This needs to be rectified and corrected so I can use nitrogen in my tires only except the one that was replaced. It would be in your best interest to contact me back soon. Thank you. Robert Headley

Listen, for over 100 years regular air has worked fine in tires. Nitrogen in tires = snake oil. Its a way for dealers to make more money…. stop being a fool
