Dear Mr Sollazo
I am truly hoping that somebody who is higher up in the corporate office will be able to help me. I also do realize just by taking the step I may not get the position for being too aggressive. I am however very upset I had an interview with Darlene in Fort Lauderdale last week. I have been licensed for many years selling all these products for many years. I told Darlene from the get go that was the background issue from 20 years ago. I also told her that it was resolved I have all the doXXXXentation in the warehouse at NIPR. Com
I also let her know that the only company that wouldn’t appointment at the moment was mutual of Omaha because they have a 20 year look back and that in December they will appointment. Five days after the interview after emailing and leaving messages she finally emailed me back that she didn’t even submit my background check because the people at your compliance office ASSUMED and we know what that word means that I would not get appointed. She did not do the right thing. Nobody should assume anything and then when I requested that she does in fact do my background check the proper way out of sheer fairness I never heard back from her even asking her to please respond.
So what I am hoping is that somebody there will do the right thing I applied for a job you need to do a background check if it comes back unacceptable that’s different most of the carriers only go back seven years so I should not really have any issues but the fact that it wasn’t done is just not right.
So in closing I am hoping that somebody there does the right thing I may or may not get appointed but it is for the department of insurance and the carriers to decide not for Darlene with the compliance department.
