I am having difficulty getting Octreotide from Patterson. My Vet, Westside Animal Hospital, Durham, NC, has ordered it for me for the last year and a half, and often I have difficulty getting it.
My dog has Hepatocutaneous Syndrome and gets injections twice a day of Octreotide. It seem like I often wait for your Patterson “Warehouse” to have inventory? This is outrageous!
The fact that my dog has been on this expensive medication since October2018, and now I can’t get it, is a huge a setback. I have spent 1000 of dollars to insure her comfort and care. And now this happens again?
This is unacceptable. Humans are prescribed this medication and I am sure they do not wait for availability. This is just plain bull crap. How can this vet warehouse not keep stock available in a timely fashion? I have now been waiting going on my 4th week.
I am not happy. Something needs to be done.
