Sean Spector and Jung Suh partnered with founding CEO Toby Lenk to start GameFly in 2002. The company operates an American online video game rental subscription service.
The company offers games for nearly all types of handheld and console game platforms, including Xbox 1, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Gameboy Advance, and Nintendo Switch.
In 2009 GameFly sued the U.S. Postal Service alleging the favoring of Netflix and Blockbuster by sorting their DVDs at no charge. In August 2020, GameFly updated their subscription prices and added a new one-time flat fee option.
The company maintains a corporate office in Los Angeles, California.
