When Jeneva Bell’s dog, Bambi, had an accident on her expensive rug, she was frustrated by the fact that it couldn’t be washed. Bell created her own type of rug called Ruggable.
Ruggable makes area rugs and pillow covers that can be washed in any home washing machine. The top “rug” portion can be easily removed from the recycled polyester non-slip backing.
Ruggable has a very large following on Instagram, with more than 380,000 followers who regularly post their rug mishaps and then the cleaning results after washing. The polyester rug cover has a polyurethane waterproof barrier sandwiched between the top surface, made from 100% woven polyester chenille, and the bottom surface, made of 100% polyester knit. The barrier blocks dirt, odor, and liquids from penetrating the cover’s bottom layer and the pad.

Bar none, this is one of the worst companies I’ve ever tried purchasing from. I ordered an 8/10 rug on October 6th, and I was promptly charged on the 6th. The rug was made on the 7th and 8th. Now, according to their web site, my rug has been in “Finalizing” since October 19th! Today is the 29th!! Customs Service has been unhelpful and I am filing complaints with several state and federal agencies. Worst company ever! Epic fail…

I was visiting my son a few weeks ago, and I walked in and saw this beautiful rug!! My son (knowing I’ve been a lover of rugs over the years) said, yea, “hey mom”, if Zeus has an accident, (talking about our 6 month old puppy, whom is a Bernese Mountain Dog, not so little!) no problem! You can just throw it in your washer! I was like, what?!!! Because all our rugs in our very very old home are all wool. And over the years we’ve raised 5 children and gone through all kinds of many beloved pets and others were things like the “raising a chicken from an egg, your class hatched, lord knows we ended up with at least 4 chicks, we raised up until they got to big to be in the house anymore! The usual, like, different birds, fish, hamsters, genie pigs, and even the occasional lizard or two! Believe me, our rugs have seen and felt quite a lot, in a manner of speaking! And rugs eventually need cleaning, and It’s such a hassle to have them taken up to be washed professionally. So I was so impressed with my son’s rug, I just had to get one! So I purchased a rug bundle, my order number is: #2501387, and I just love the rugs! The problem is we’re missing 2 under liners, so I did try to call a few times, but didn’t reach anyone , I do realize that covid has had a huge impact on all of us, and then there are those that choose to stay home and collect what they can, while those few at work are doing jobs they probably never thought they’d learn to do, and carrying the load! So if someone could just call me back, I so greatly would appreciate it! I promise, I won’t keep your customer service operator long, Thank you so much!

Have been trying to schedule a callback from ruggable but the website is not easy to work with. We would like to get a callback at 704-425-XXXX about two of the six rugs we ordered being the wrong. Thank you

We thought concept of ruggable founded by Jeneva Bell in 2010 was amazing! Before even settling on condo we purchased 4 rugs. Order numbers 1661948 and order number 1524621. . For weeks and weeks we have tried unsuccessfully to reach anyone in customer service, call back, corporate to exchange carpet in first order for larger size 9 by 12. I have sent so many emails I am shocked at no customer service. NONE! One rep said send me photos, so we drove three hours to take photos and emailed.
Ruggable has no customer service, so public should know in advance . Awful

It is impossible to get a status of ones order! I left a message on line and no response. I called corporate office, no answer. I understand all the delays and problems covid is causing but a little customer service means everything in these times. My order # is 1473986.
