When camping as a boy, Jeremy Lang was taught by his father to always leave the campsite and surrounding area cleaner than when you found it. This was a courtesy to the next camper, but also a show of respect to nature and the planet.
It only made sense that when Lang decided to create cases and covers for cell phones and other electronics, that he would find a sustainable and eco-friendly way to do so.
Lang discovered that a type of bioplastic could be made from plant based biopolymers. Most are biodegradable and even compostable!
The company creates cell phone and tablet cases and covers that use a flax straw fiber base, which is called Flaxstix. This is a biodegradable, sustainable product. Most Flax straw is burned by farmers since it has no “value.”
In mid-2020, the company began offering eco-friendly, biodegradable Apple watch bands.
