I worked as a night shift evisceration tech I loved it and the only reason I don’t work there now is because it was an hour and a half drive from my home and I lost my reliable transportation and was unable to get to work. I do however need the last names of Dennis and Charles for the night time evisceration supervisors if anyone can possibly help

My husband has worked for Simmons foods for 22/23 years… He has worked as a driver before Simmons went to JB Hunt and transferred to work in mill after that…Today Amy out of HR shows up and gave him notice his last day is Dec 31st…..policy that his position is full time and he works about 30 to 32 hours week so they are getting rid of him. WARNING TO ALL EMPLOYEES…. you work for them for 22 years and they treat you like this….what sorry people they are….My husband always admired Mark Simmons but he is not encharge anymore……shame on you Todd and the board who made these policy changes…..according to Amy

I was complaining of my wrists hurting for over 5 months during the month of August 2018 they were really hurting on the 31st they had gotten so bad I couldn’t work with either one of them. I told the supervisor that problem.
Took vacation time to give them a rest. My job involved repeatedly use them and using a knife, so my right hand had to hold and use a knife for the past 6 months.
Finally I was sent to the doctor on the 11th of September and he told me that I had (my his account) arthritis and I told him I 100 percent disagreed because the pain was and numbness didn’t fit.
So that lead me to believe that my pain wasn’t work related and he didn’t at that time didn’t say anything about or setting up with a doctor who specializes in Orthopedic matters. I was in to much pain so I sought out a Doctor in that field.
That doctor (which I saw) 2 days later told me that I had Carpal Tunnel and set up the tests needed to confirm.
The doctor had given me a release from duty note to give to the Simmons Foods nurse and H.R.
I tried to work but my wrists just wasn’t working and was affecting my ability to work. I was taken to the nurse by the supervisor due to my inability to do my job so to save a write up I gave the nurse and decided to go home pending the test and follow-up.
Now for the negative side, I saw their doctor that they setup 2 weeks later. This Dr. Heim also stated Carpal Tunnel by this time my doctor had already had me test and I was given permission to return but with restrictions.
Simmons told me since I saw my doctor that I had to fill out a request to see if they might be able to follow my doctor’s light duty with restrictions.
Simmons said pending approval or disapproval and since I had seek out another Doctor sent me home. Not able to go to the Doctor or therapy due to lack of funds, Go going Simmons.
This was right after they told me I Would have to pay for any further doctors bill I would have to pay for, I was agreeable but didn’t realize that my finances would stop.
It been at this time October 24th (2 weeks) without any income.
Simmons Foods does have a smock room so they do have something for light duty. I’m under doctors care but can’t pay them.

I had thought simmons was a great company to work for and seniority meant something I guess I was wrong seniority means absolutely nothing at sfi simmons wet ingredients as operators we put in for a lead position because we can’t go any higher in pay but we were wanting to advance in the company but we were kicked to the curb now we have to look for other jobs somewhere else in order to advance and we were kicked to side for someone who hasn’t even been there a year yet now were stuck with no chance of advancement this is really unfair to the employees of simmons.
