ViaTalk was founded in 2005 in Clifton Park, New York, by current owner and CEO Brenden Brader. The company offers a VOIP service.
The company has grown substantially over the past few years, although exact numbers were not released by the company, it’s been estimated that with the closure of another VOIP company (Sunrocket) many customers turned to ViaTalk for their needs. The company is known for not outsourcing their customer service employees, while offering a diverse number of features, such as call recording, call forwarding, and enhanced voicemail.
ViaTalk has recently had their rating with the Better Business Bureau dropped to an F due to numerous complaints. ViaTalk claims that their new customers from Sunrocket overloaded their system, but they are working on solutions.
