Founder Brighton Boerner was speaking to her friends one evening, discussing how and where they purchase their underwear. She found that most were like her; no time or interest in spending hours searching for comfortable underwear. After seeing a television ad for the Dollar Shave Club, Boerner decided to start her own subscription service for women’s underwear.
In an interview, Boerner says the idea to start her own business came at an opportune time since she was fired from her PR job just two months later.
The company was listed as one of the top 7 subscription underwear services on popular review site Urban Tastebud.
This all-female startup offers 3 styles that go by cheeky names such as Tenderloin, T-Bone, and Rump Roast. Subscriptions for 3 or more months offer free shipping. Each box contains two panties of choice for about $20.
