Landstar Agent TFT Richard Hawkins out of Shawnee KS will screw a carrier out of detention time. Poor jobsite planning by Trane on a power only load had Hawkins and Trane playing kissee face on the phone deliberately screwed me out of money. To top it off Landstar Customer No Service decided I should never have brought up delay pay to Trane Field Rep. They didn’t feel the need to look at the emails or text messages. They (the worthless one sided woman in customer no service) instead gives me the boot and I get zero for waiting 7 hours to drop a trailer. What a joke. Driving to 8131 Cole Parkway Shawnee KS just to be face to face with Hawkins would be a worthwhile trip. No violence. I just want to be face to face with this pr**k.

I am a current Landstar BCO. I booked a load a week ago with a landstar agent named Michael McKee (DBF agency owner). I asked McKee about a pick up number last week. He stated that he would have it the day of pick up. I have been texting, calling, emailing McKee all morning for a pick up number (at least 4 hours). This guy text me back stating he is working on getting a pick up number now. I deadhead all the way to the shipper to find out there is no load there.

I told McKee there is no load here what is going on? He stated and I quote ” hold on I’m going to see if the owner has something for you to take and hung up. I waited for another hour and a half and called McKee again. By this time I wasted gas and my time for a load that did not exist. If owner operators have to deal with this type of business we would be OUT of business, being sent to a location where there is NO load.

I told McKee to cancel everything, I’m done! McKee is going to try to put me on another load thats another 150 miles away. Matter of fact, McKee assigned me to the load without my permission. I told him I did not want the load and again I said cancel everything I’m done with you! McKee threatened to give me a service failure for refusing the load. I am a veteran with a masters degree not some dumb uneducated idiot.

I will file a formal complaint and if I have to take legal action against McKee for the inconvenience.

Landstar is unreal, unprofessional! I contracted Landstar to do a move for the U.S. Embassy and the driver went missing in action. When I called Landstar I got hung up on twice when I tried to tell them about the seriousness of the situation. The third time I called I was put on hold for ten minutes then told by Jeff (wouldn’t give me his last name) that they are not responsible for their drivers actions. Landstar sucks completely. Does this sound like a company you want to put your freight on? Absolutely not.

June Schrack of LRGR-WTN of Wilcox is absolutely the most uninformed, most unprofessional, and most absurd landstar agent I have ever dealt with. We asked her twice to send us a revised rate confirmation on Wednesday the 19th with the addresses and contact information for the shippers as we had to call ahead for delivery. She didn’t get back to us UNTIL FRIDAY the 21st of Oct. Her excuse was that she had Time Warner working on her internet all day long, and she ASSumed that it sent itself. The dispatcher who booked the load with her was rushed to the hospital for emergency gall bladder surgery. It just so happened that she never mentioned these details in any emails the only correspondence she had with the dispatcher was on a phone call on Wednesday. My driver is going to have to sh*t in New Jersey all weekend long just to unload a few boxes because the appointment on the original rate confirmation was scheduled for Saturday delivery and they aren’t even open on Saturdays. When I called to ask if she would pay anything for layover she said she absolutely wouldn’t. My driver picked this up on the 19th and it wont be able to deliver until the 24th because of her lack of knowledge of this load. On the phone call she said she was tired of listening to me XXXXXXing about the situation. I reported her to corporate, and customer service was blaming me for not reaching out to her on the situation. We sent her a couple of emails on Wednesday with no response and even corporate customer service failed to help. This is absolutely the WORST treatment and service we have ever received from Landstar. You guys need to get it together and hire better agents especially if she is the owner of the company. Learn some customer service and empathy skills!

I was been waiting my application process all most 4 months, I need to know why you make difficult my application process if you don’t need to hire my truck just say it ,I am a Canadian and have green card move to USA ,the low say if you have driver lisence Canada or different country you have to turn in and we will send you back,this is not Landstar there jop,this is USA And Canada there jop is I did everything I could to work with you, but your going too far I met yasterday Mn DMV manager when I told him what you doing to me they wonder, and they call state office give them your Inc name Landstar corporate office,so today is Friday it will be my last day to contect with I did what ever I can to deal with you.first time when I was applying Landstar your drivers and ather drivers told me not go Landstar don’t west you time God I did west my time.and I will share every driver what done to me last 4
