The company operates a line of inexpensive home security cameras. The most popular option being the $20 doorbell camera that rivals the much more expensive Ring doorbell camera.
In addition to the doorbell camera, Kangaroo’s smart home security products include the Motion + Entry Sensor, Siren + Keypad, and Water + Climate Sensor, all of which can be controlled from a smartphone.
The Kangaroo Complete plan offers extended cloud storage (30 days), enables two-way talk as well as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant interface, and includes 24/7 professional monitoring when combined with Kangaroo’s sensors and siren + keypad.
The company currently has 20,000 users and has raised more than $18 million in venture capital.
