On May 23 24 2019 I had a claim on my policy hail claim Fredloyla corporate they stated my vehicle was a total loss in yall lower ball me on the appraisal 2007 Cadilac escalate ext Kelley blue book say a different amount what y’all say I taught to someone in y’all office stating I cannot buy my vehicle back what is the difference when y’all Auction it off To the dealership I pay all this money every month 340.00 that about $4000.00 a year with that been said been with y’all 20 plus years this is how yalll treat me with another Insurance they give you option to buy ur vehicle back if I would have known I will be going through this miss I would left y’all alone I just want my truck fixed that all my phone number 806392XXXX

You OBVIOUSLY have a LONG LINE of complaints for the same issues. It is a good thing I have already filed with the State Board of Insurance on the matter. From the get go they acted really nice, especially since their insured admitted FULL liability, but they they claimed after “investigation” that I am partially to blame for their client pulling out in front of me coming from the opposite direction for not taking more evasive action. KNOWING that it I had not done all I did do I would have t-boned their car with an infant inside! Luckily I MINIMIZED the damage by trying to steer away and clipped the back end of the car that crossed into oncoming traffic! They have NO reasoning in the matter and EVERYONE you speak to seems to use the same script and are playing with the same playbook. They talk over you and completely ignore facts.

I was hit by your insured in September and my claim is still unresolved and now I can’t get anyone to call me back. I’ve called Simon my claims adjuster, Victor, the supervisor and then the Regional Supervisor. No one will return my call. They are refusing to pay me for my rental and the time I took off from work. The Regional Supervisor assured me they would look into but that’s been 2 weeks ago and now no one will call me back. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before.

Amazing! I’m having the SAME EXACT issue with I think the same adjuster! A Fred Loya client suddenly crossed in front of me from oncoming traffic as I was driving down the street and she’s claiming I am “partially to blame” because I didn’t do enough to take evasive actions! The client even ADMITTED to me AND THEM that they were completely in the wrong! Sounds like their modus operandi!

I had a terrible experience with you all, I walked in the door the lady was nice and everything was great at first until I came back my car lot does not accept no insurance from you all I did not know that at all I gave you all cash within 20 minutes later I cam back and explain to Mrs.Brenda, that the company does not want no dealings with you all because of past times I could not get my money back at all which is completely unfair I cancelled my policy but I didn’t get my money back however you was good to take my money with no problems at all I strongly felt bad because I was taken advantage of and you all did nothing about it how can you have a this just f-ing heartless, and unkind. Fred Loya screws with people! They do not honor policies, they lie out of their a**, and should be sued for everything they have and give back to people that they have f-ed! I was hit by one of their insured and they have told me so many lies and keep telling one lie to cover another lie. I have thousands in medical bills, time off of work, my car was a total loss so no car until it gets settled. The CEO should be taken to court and pay back thousands they have ripped off from people.

ABSOLUTE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! How can one of their insured hit my car, get the ticket for it and evidence PROVES that they hit my car and they DENY paying for the car and damages associated with it! After numerous calls and providing evidence, I was told that they are going by what their insured “said” even the insured stated the opposite on the police report. Now they want their insured to amend the police report. This is America and evidence should mean something. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, Texas Insurance Commission, Yelp and every where possible. This company should go out of business because they provide horrible service and refuse to accept responsibility for actions caused by their insured! I will tell all of my friends, family and strangers about this experience. I have ALL proof and correspondence and I hope this company goes out of business. 1 Star is MORE than they deserve, it should be a NEGATIVE 100!

This is absolute worse car insurance company on the planet. Hurricane Harvey came through Houston in late August and my vehicle suffered water damage. Instead of Fred Loya totaling the car out they decide to have a body shop work on it. Well the car stayed at a storage facility for at least 4 weeks, and during that time someone lost the keys to the car. So I had to take the second set to the storage facility. After doing that the second set of keys were lost when it was transported to the body shop around mid September. The keys had to be remade but my original keys were a special type. So the body shop had to order keys. When the keys arrived the body shop had to reprogram them (extra time). The body shop had to order this part and that part due to corrosion (more time). Each week they would tell me it would be ready the following week. Here we are 10/28/17 and the car is still not ready. Fred Loya will not help me any longer with rental payments and I have been paying for at least 3 weeks out of pocket for the rental car (around $650). Why didn’t they just total the car. I would be in another car by now. I would have been a satisfied customer. Instead I am an angry customers and warning people about my stress and frustration. It has been two months and counting NO CAR, OUT OF MONEY, FRUSTRATED, DISSATISFIED

I’ve only been a customer for 1 month and I’m already going to have to change insurance companies! A payment was made online and then the next day they took out another payment! Went to the local office and they said I needed a bank statement to show where the payments were taken from my account, when they can clearly see it on the computer screen! Called the 800 number and they lady tried to blame me for their mistake! Went back to local office, showed on my phone where 2 payments were posted to my account! Now they’re saying they need the whole bank statement to make sure it was my account! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

I jusy bought insurance with company first time. 9/18/
I was told first DMV had my records block. I called DMV, it was a lie. Then few,days after I got letter stating that the car from dealer had a pre-existed damage. I went back to dealer to inquire. I was told is a lie my car never been repair. I called Alstste they have me a quote. My records wrmere not block in deed. I called the agent-dealer to let then know that they were misleading and use the excuse to raise quote in the spot. I’m writing and making complaint with BBB and federal trade commission FTC. I am urging others to do the same. Someone needs to take a closer look at these misleads by Loya’s agent’s . I was told by the DMV, worker that it was not the first time they heard those complaint same with the dealer.

This company Sucks, they broke hippa laws negotiating the bills of the claimant and then they have not settled the claim and it has been more than a year long. Even reasonable attempts of settling the claim have been met with total blocked wall and they just like screwing the people who they feels. They have broken the fair claims practice act by taking so long to settle the claim. Avoid this company at all cost. I will soon become a lawyer and I might sue this company just to make them bleed money

Is it normal protocol to wait this long for your insurance company to pay for thr repairs of my vehicle. The incident happened the beginning of March, which your client was found at fault ‘over’ two weeks ago, and I still have not been given a check to have my vehicle repaired.

I was advised they have to wait to speak to Donzell and I about injuries and yet no one has reached out to either of us. I’m becoming frustrated because it’s like I am being swindled out of my repairs that your client caused – on a rainy day following to closely to the rear of my vehicle and now claiming that 20% should be at the fault of Donzell (the driver).

According to the officer the morning of the accident, several vehicals were in accidents due to the weather conditions – and now he is 20% at fault for being rear ended, because your client stated he jumped in front of her. This does not seem legit. You did not even want a statement from me because you stated it was bias against your client, I’m appalled by Fred Loya’s process and will be making a review about your client and yourself, your actions/process is very shady!

I have been off work since this incident and they only want to claim 80% I’m frustrated.

I would recommend to all on this site that has a compliant let’s get together and make a class action law suit against this company who Refuses to pay .. and they admit they are 100 percent at fault. . I was at a dead stop at a stop sign ….. and thier client Paul said oh i was in a hurry .. then when i said i wanted the police there they advised thier vlient to leave the scene …. my car is very well taken care of .. i have comply ed with all request .. i am taken action with the california department and was advised not to leave my car at the shop as this insurance company is known for their name .. is you will be left no vehicle and all cost for repairs storage fees ect .. don’t for get work I’ve lost, doctor’s and anxiety from this company .. eden rosa supervisor, sandra pena , malinda hinojosa, , the list is long … also this company harressed me at a funeral from July 3 to july 11 it was a double funeral husband and wife .. no compassion at all. …

Dear Fred Loya Corporate Office,

I am a customer of your car insurance company. On July 18, 2016 I recieved a phone call from your company regarding that I had not paid for the months of June and July. However, I had paid for these two months in advance on May 27, 2016 with two seperate cashiers checks. Confused, I drove down to the office in Whittier. The address is, 11418 Washington Blvd, Whittier, CA 90606. There I spoke to Liliana about why I owed for the two months if I had paid for both of the two months in advanced. She then told me that I did not have to pay for June, just for the month of July. I told her how was that possible if I paid for both of the months in advanced. She then replied, that I had paid for May and June with those two cashiers checks. However, when I started my policy on April 29, 2016, they made me pay for the months of April and May. Still confused, I stepped outside to make a phone call to my girlfriend to see what I wasn’t understanding. After the call I went back in and spoke to Ysenia (I’m not to sure on the name) regarding the same issue. She told me that I owed for July because there was a due date I was given to make a payment which was the 19 and the a cancellation date which was the 29. Again I asked but how do I owe for the month of July though if I paid for that month in advance. She AGAIN gave me the same response but slower as if it didnt make sense to me the first time. So I stepped outside once AGAIN to call my girlfriend to see if she could understand what they were telling me. Frustrated, I asked her to come down to the office to see why I was not understanding how was this possible. When my girlfriend Valerie arrived, we both stepped in to see if we can figure out what was wrong. This time both Liliana and Ysenia gave us the same responses to my question they had gave me earlier. Valerie told them how did we have to pay for July though if we paid for April and May on the day we started our policy and we paid for both June and July on May 27 with two seperate cashiers checks on the same day. She also asked for a print out of all of our payments. The two girls looked at each other confused and called a manager from a different office because theirs was on lunch. Ysenia then told us that they needed to talk to corporate in order for us to get a print out. We just ignored that issue because she made it seem like it was going to be a long process. We told that manager our issue and she told us that the two cashiers checks had bounced. And what we paid on the initiation date had covered April and May and had somewhat rolled over to cover the month of June and thats why we owed for July. She then told us that we needed to drive to our bank and see why the checks had bounced. Valerie and I frustratedly, both got in the car and headed over to our bank. When we had arrived there we recieved a phone call from Ysenia telling us that we needed to pay today otherwise my policy was going to be cancelled and that June was NOT covered and our initiation payment did not roll over so we owed for both months. We went inside our bank and they printed out two pages for both cashiers checks showing that the checks were endorsed and cashed. So we drove ALL THE WAY BACK to the same office and showed the two girls the proof. Liliana called up the manager once again and left the manager to solve the issue of why it wasnt showing up. It was then when Liliana told us with attitude that not to pay with cashiers checks again because it was the WORST form of payment and that it just causes trouble and then added, with our company atleast. Then she made me sign a paper excluding Valerie from my policy and telling me if I didnt sign, she was not going to be able to release more information to me about my issue until I did so. Keeping in mind valerie doesnt even live with my so there was no need to exclude her she was just helping me understand.And when I asked why was this neccessary she replied, because it was against the company’s policy to give out my information to her and I needed to do this in order for her to hear anymore. Why didnt she do this before??! Valerie was already told everything before wasnt she?? Just trying to be done with this issue, I signed the paper. After this she came back and told us that there was a mess up on their end. Liliana told us that when I paid for the two months of June and July they had took the checks, sent in copies to get them processed, then cancelled them because they thought they made a mistake. She added that we did pay for them and that next payment was going to be August 19. We said thanks then left. This whole issue wasted 4 hours of my day and I found it EXTREMLY unprofessional for the people working in this office to not be able to not even give me basic information, let alone a copy of my own payment history and even to keep my own information away from me without signing a paper excluding Valeire from my policy AFTER she was ALREADY given almost all of my information already. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any company and I will be posting this complaint on many review websites.

I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Nevada Insurance Commissioner regarding my treatment by this company.

On May 28 I was hit but a drunk driver by the name of Isadore Rosales, he has Fred Loya Insurance. He was arrested at the scene. I was given delay tactic after delay tactic before an adjuster was finally assigned to my claim. My entire front bumper and right fender were torn off. I received an estimate from Fred Loya in the amount of $800. I obtained my own estimates from 3 random collision places in town. The estimates were roughly $1,900, $2,600 and $2,700. After weeks of more delay tactics, they agreed to a supplemental payment of roughly $900. However, after they mailed the checks, and before I received them, they VOIDED the checks and called me to notify me, claiming that they had forgotten to include the apartment number on the checks, and would thus have to void them. I instructed them not to, since my name was clearly on the check, and I knew my postman would deliver them. They said, no, they would have to void the checks, and I would receive new ones by Monday of the following week (2 days ago).

On Wednesday (today), I still had not received any checks, so I called their corporate office. They kept me on hold for roughly an hour, then put a supervisor on the phone. She then told me that they had to void the checks because their adjuster made a mistake, and they could not pay that amount. They are submitting the claim to a review department where it will be assigned a new adjuster. When I asked her why I was flat out lied to when I was told they voided the checks due to the apartment number not being on the address, she said that it was because of that, and ALSO because they are not going to pay. I have desperate need of those funds, and have made promised based on their agreement to pay and telling me the checks were approved, signed and mailed.

I find it curious that even this web page admits that Fred Loya has an F rating with the BBB.

I will continue to post updates. I would caution anyone to stay away from this insurance company if at all possible. They do not play by the rules.

Hello and GOD Bless everyone Listen I purchased insurance from Loya Last year on July the 3rd and I really believed that they was uh cool company until October my Chevy Tahoe was messing up so I called them for uh Tow Truck but they inturn, told me that I had to get one and that they would reimburse me for the cost so every since then it’s basically been one thing after another and all that they can say is that they are uh new company and they are working on things but they say that theyou have been around since the 70’s, but I went to pay my insurance bill on the 11th of this month simply because me & my mom’s things where stolen due to uh break, in but Saturday they was closed and you can’t pay through western union so I waited until Monday morning and again it was uh problem the young lady named Angel (far from it) gave me uh problem. And they said that my policy was cancelled early Monday morning so question they texted me Sunday and said that they would try to draft again Monday so my question is how can you Draft off of something that’s Closed they are very unprofessional and dishonest, and I really don’t believe anyone has the price that they state on the T.V. basically Loya insurance company is uh bunch of B,S.literally they should stay in Texas with those practices no good.

I HAD called the main corp. office for Fred Loya Auto Ins,on 05/09/2016 and told them that I was canceling my ins. account with them ,because my car was wrecked,I had libilty only covrage , the corp, office told me that they had it canceled and would send me a check by mail for the prorated balance for the rest of the month of May,The next day the local office call’s me and tell’s me that I can not cancel my account by calling the corp, office and that they would still debit my bank account for the next months payment, so again I told nthem i canceled the policy,that the corp. office would be mailing me a refund check for the proated balance . NOW TODAY 05/25/2016 I AM CHECKING MY BANK ACCOUNT FOR THE DAYS ACTIVITY AND THERE IT IS A DRAFT FOR ANOTHER $ 53.00 FOR A JUNE PAYMENT, I AM CONTACTING MY BANK AND TRING TO PUT A STOP PAYMENT ON THIS DRAFT AND TO STO ANY OTHER ATTEMPS TO DRAFT MY ACCOUNT, I ALSO AM GOING TO CHECK OUT IF THEY CAN BE SUED FOR THIS ACTION ,THERE SHOULD BE A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT ON THEM FROM EVERY ONE THEY HAVE SCAMED !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very sad to hear that .. because they are giving me a huge runaround after being hit by on of their drivers, who was drunk. I posted a comment but not sure if it will get posted after moderation … but they basically tried to pay about a 3rd of the damage cost, then agreed to a supplemental check but voided it before I even received it. The reason they gave me was because they forgot to put the apartment number on the checks. I was supposed to receive new checks by Monday of this week. I hadn’t received by Wednesday so I called Fred Loya and spent about an hour waiting to speak with someone. Finally a supervisor came on the phone and told me that the checks were voided because the adjuster had made a mistake and should not have authorized the amount. They are submitting the claim for review to some department, where it will be assigned a new adjuster (who will supposedly authorize a much lower amount). I have already filed a complaint with the Nevada Insurance Commissioner and they will be contacting Fred Loya within 24 – 48 hours. What will result of it? I can only hope. There is so much bad information about these guys it truly is amazing they are still in business ripping people off!

For anyone trying to obtain insurance you’re better off paying a little extra at Farmers Ins (just like I Am) for better coverage, faster service, friendlier representatives, and better experience over all.

I received a refund check from Fred Loya. Called the customer service line. Said my policy was cancelled due to lack of response of a credit app. Well, I received my insurance card, paid my policy on-time and was cancelled. Called CS again, said oops goto the branch they will fix it, Went to the branch, this rep had no sense, said the UW has cancelled this policy, you must renew a new policy, and pay a fee based on the erroneous docs we sent to you. You failed to reply with your info. So I was quoted, given a card and autobilled twice to find out my insurance was cancelled b/c I did not fill out a DOC that was never sent. Should have been done before a card was issued but the UW must know that these schleps are taking money for pads and not following through.

I have contacted the TDIC and am meeting with Shaun Raab 1/20/2016. Will help everyone.

3 Different reps and one was a manager and a total deny everything (your fault) well, we will see.

Please keep us posted. I have been going through the ringer sonce Dec 18….i was on an accident. The 1st adjuster told me i can not be put into a rental until the repairs were started on my car. Come to find out that was a lie. I was told i would be reimbursed for paying for my own rental. Still no reimbursement.

I was told John Elway would come and tow my car from the accident scene. No one showed up until that following Monday, the accident happened Friday.

Once they finally towed my car and looked at it, i was told i have to have my repairs done at an aluminum certified shop. We found a shop and the car towed. I received a call today from my adjuster, which is different from the 1st adjuster, saying they cut John Elway a check for over 7 grand!! I said they didnt repair my car as a matter of fact, my car hasnt been repaired at all!! She got nasty with me like it was my fault!!! Ive been calling all morning to speak with a manager and every single rep has hung up on me!!!

I was in a wreck . insured by Fred loyla. I am currently in the process of my claim! I have a rental. And on my policy which is full coverage it states I am covered $30 per day up to 30 days Fred Loya contacted me and offered me a settlement amount and stating that my car was deemed a total loss and that my rental car would be extended until December 16th 2015 and that Fred Loya would contact Capital One who is my lien holder and tell them the settlement that they would offer well it is now December 30th and they still have not contacted Capital One and I can not get another car loan because I still owe Capital One $17,000 on the current car note that I have which is currently collecting interest daily and all Fred Loya house to do is call them and tell them the car has been deemed a total loss so that I can get the total payoff amount I do not know what to do right now

Donna please contact me regarding Fred Loya. I have had it with this phony insurance company! I have to persue them every time my insurance is due. They have never sent out a insurance card without me calling and demanding it” I never get an invoice for my account and they have caused me to lose coverage twice. If this isn’t enough a girl ran over me in a parking lot when I was backing out of a space. She was on her phone and didn’t see me. Instead of investigating this they paid her claim! Fred Loya is a rip off!!! They tell you one thing in their office and do another at corporate. They take your payments early and tell you they have the right to. I will be doing an article on them for the Ennis Daily News to prove how they are ripping people off! Thanks for nothing

I was in an accident with someone insured by Fred Loya in April 2016, paying for a rental car out of pocket and my car has yet to be repaired. I was not at fault for this but I am being punished. I have attempted to contact these people several times and get no where. I want my reimbursement for this rental car, my car fixed and medical taken care of so I do not have to every deal with this company again. It is sad how hard working people are treated and it is not their fault or they are just trying to be law biding citizens. Does anyone have contact information for the CEO of this company?

Insurance Complaint
September 2, 2015, hit by vehicle insured by Fred Loya Insurance; my vehicle rolled over at least 1 time and ended up on the side. I had my vehicle towed @ $159.00; and the insurance co. picked my vehicle up for inspection. I received a call from the insurance company and was told it was totaled. Two (2) weeks later I received a call and was told that they were denying the claim based on information in the file (statements), and sent me a letter stating the claim was being denied because I failed to control speed (which was a lie). I paid the incident report, and the only citation was for their insured, for failure to control lane, and no driver license. I had a witness whom the insurer also hit. I sent a copy to the Insurance company, to no avail. They continue to deny the claim.

Horrible experience with my claim. One of their insured hit me and I had to make all the phone calls. Had to call to get my car picked up, had to call to check status of claim, was told I would not get a rental car until they assessed the damage, OK, but would only get a rental if repaired where they wanted. Each phone call to the company or the rental claims dept. of the company took at least 45 minutes to an hour. Then I finally get a rental car claim # 2 minutes before Enterprise closed, so had to wait till the next day. Had an SUV an am getting a rinky dinky economy car to drive.

BEWARE!!!!!! Worst insurance company ever, look out people make sure you check your bank statements if you have automatic withdrawals to pay your insurance, because my mother has been paying double insurance, they have been withdrawing two payments every month for the past 4months. When you call them to let them know they say “no there’s only one withdraw in your account” . They don’t even have control of what there reps in 708 workman st San Fernando CA are doing. After you make the claim it takes them 5 business days to return the money they have been stealing. They should pay every person they steal from at least interest on the money they have been stealing, I think that’s the right thing they should do, because of companies like this they judge all the Latinos, I think that Fred Loya JR should be on top of situations like this he should make it his priority.

HORRIBLE!!! Never have I been through something this ridiculous! They don’t answer or call back, they give you the run around and hold out on paying your claim even though it was THEIR driver that caused the accident!! I have no idea how this business hasn’t been shut down yet.

This is WORST and most UMPROFESSIONAL insurance company. They are completely low grade compared to any other insurance company I have ever dealt with. The adjusters have the worst customer service and the managers as well. They cant answer any questions for you. This insurance is recommended for Hispanics only!!!!!!!!

Worst company ever. When you get in an accident, you better have some $ for a car rental because they investigate BS just to hold off now paying your claims, and drags it on and on . They don’t pay for your car rental until your car is approved on the claim. Take my word for it, it’s better to put your $ where insurance is well known. Triple A Mercury All state Farmers = no BS! Fred Liar NEVER AGAIN!
