I would like to submit a complaint in regards to one of your delivery drivers. I do not understand why he was giving myself and my friend mean looks and started taking pictures of me, my vehicle and license plates. I was parked behind his truck, but did not say a word to the guy until he started taking pictures. He said something about getting us in trouble. I also took a picture of his company truck and him. I think your company should know who is out there and how he/she are representing the company. I would like to speak to someone from your company about this situation. Thank you.

CoreMark continually breaks the law. Their truck drivers are too dumb to read a no truck route sign and there are no commercial businesses. This has been reported so many times to Corona and they don’t care.

I started working at the Portland Oregon location as a temp to hire through a staffing company.
For the first week and half I worked down the candy aisle. The trainers in that section – High & Collin were great trainers.
The second week I was transferred to the fridge area and given a $1 raise.
The trainer Aaron Denny in this area was always negative, would always mumble weird things under his breath and try to demean the work of the other employees.
The first week I was in the fridge area – the lead Aaron & another worker brought in a portable speaker and was playing songs from their playlists on their phones. These songs referred to women as b*tches and hoes and sang about women working their pu**ys on a stripper pole. I told the lead Aaron that i felt the music was inappropriate for the work environment, especially being that I was the only female in the fridge area. I asked Aaron to ask Hayden to change the music as I felt uncomfortable, and Aaron said he thought the music was fine. I complained again and he said it was above his pay to address the issue. After an hour and being completely pi**ed off I turned off the speaker my damn self and told both Hayden and Aaron I was tired of their bullsh*t as music.
On one occasion , an employee Hayden was throwing up on the floor of the fridge area in section 26-01-01 . I asked him if he was ok, and he said he didn’t feel well. I asked if he need help to get to the bathroom. Aaron passed by and said to me ‘Just let him finish what he is doing, there’s no need for you to stop picking.’ I said to Aaron ‘look he doesn’t feel good and should probably go home, so he doesn’t make the rest of us sick’ Arron said I should mind my business. So I continued to pick. On my next time around I saw Hayden mopping up his puke. I told Hayden to go to the bathroom and wash his hands. Aaron said to move along.
The mop bucket was put back where it is stored in the fridge area with puke in it, and was never cleaned. I told Aaron that the water needed to be changed – he said it was above his pay grade to do that. Hayden never went to the bathroom to wash his hands. He continued to pick items in the fridge area , like bananas and eggs. These are items which were to be packaged separately due to cross contamination issues, so I told Aaron that what was going on was gross and unsanitary. Aaron told me to mind my business. I notified the supervisor Nick after my shift of what took place and that I thought it was unsanitary. He said Hayden already went home. At the end of my shift the mop bucket of puke was still in the fridge area.
During the beginning of my position in the fridge area – Aaron & Hayden would skip trucks and pick only the trucks with the larger amount of items – and tell the other employees and temp workers to pick the smaller trucks. I asked Garrett and Nick about this one day after they said I sucked at picking. They said that that was bullsh*t – that the guys were trying to just pick the most. This was later changed by them and trucks were then suppose to be followed in order so that the drivers didn’t have to wait around for hours.
On another occasion I overheard Aaron & Hayden calling a female forklift/pallet driver a f-ing worthless b*tch because she had dropped three of the truck pallets that Hayden had picked & wrapped. She was by the door to the fridge listening to them talk sh*t about her. She quit a few days later.
I on several occasions saw Hayden & Aaron put items in other temp to hire’s crates. I thought they were just helping out. But one temp to hire named Anthony said that they were doing that to make people get miscount’s. He believed they were doing this because they did not like him, because he was black. So he quit 2 days afterwards.
Tonight , I walked out because the lead in that area Aaron started an arguement with me in front of two other full time employees ( Carl & Paul ) – I asked him if we could discuss whatever his issue was at a later time when other employees were not around. He blocked me from walking away from him, because he was in my face yelling at me. I told him to move and he said “ your not going to walk away from me “ , he continued to block my way. I told him that I was ending the conversation with him, because he was yelling at me – and I left the fridge area.
I was just a temp to hire through a staffing company.
However, I was asked by a higher up Will, why I’m not a full time Core-Mark employee yet and if I wanted to be converted.
I was also asked by Nick to go online and fill out a application to work full time.
Even after all of the above issues – I believe Core-Mark is a great company and the overall employees are there for the right reasons.
There are a few employees that made the environment unfavorable to not only me, but other female employees as well.
I did fill out out an application and was actually looking forward to working for Core-Mark full time . I had about a week left until I was to become full time according to Nick.
However, after the incident tonight with Aaron blocking my way while he was yelling at . I don’t feel Core-Mark is the right place for me.
