Bath Fitter was founded in 1984 in Montreal, Canada, by Brian Cotton and his two brothers. This trio wanted to find a faster, easier way for people to replace their old, worn out bathtubs.
The company operates a chain of franchised bathroom remodeling services. The company is best known for creating and designing custom made bathtubs. Customers can create their own designs or work with in house contractors to help design one made especially for them. The main focus of the company is one piece, seamless, acrylic wall bathtub and wall lining systems.
Bath Fitter manufactures its products in the USA and in May 2016, an expansion of their plant in Springfield, Tennessee, created an additional 51 jobs.
The company was listed as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures in late 2018.
Bath Fitter has headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. Today, Bath Fitter has approximately 200 locations in the US and Canada.
