I went in to the Rancho Cucamonga California office on 5/9/18 and turned over my stock certificate to Michelle Yuang. I had gotten laid off of work and that was the ONLY money I had to pay my bills and move out of my place by 6/26/18. I needed the money to put down on another apartment. Ameritrade shipped the certificate to their home office on 5/10. They told me it would be two weeks max to have my funds in my acct. So after two weeks i started emailing and calling Michelle and the customer service line. They gave me the runaround until they finally told me on 5/29 that the certificate was lost. My uncle got involved to try to expedite the process. They made a telephone appt for the next day. I called. They wouldn’t pick up. And they would not accommodate or give us any idea as to when the reissue would happen. “At the mercy of the transfer agent” was the response. Then another week went by so they could work with UPS to make sure it was really lost. Now i have to wait to get affidavit in the mail and get it notarized before they will reissue it (in 2 1/2 weeks). Why didn’t ameritrade know on 5/11 that my certificate didn’t make it to the destination? What kind of shoddy business practices do they have? Wouldn’t something that important have tracking (and it would be someone’s responsibility to check it?)? I have to move 6/26 and I have no money!!! Why is it my fault and I pay the price for your lazy employees and inept business practices? Run people… do not use Ameritrade… they are horrible.

I have a clients 2116 1099-DIV form that was faxed to our office. I cannot read the Federal id number starts 47-053 the rest are bunched together. I tried contacting your organasation but was unable to get the number from your employee. I asked for a supervisor and after being on hold for 10 minutes was told since the client was their I could not speak to a supervisor. I had asked that if I gave them the account number could he look it up and just give me the id number said he couldnt do that. I asked for the corporate phone number and was told I could find it on line. How can I get the correct Federal ID # for this clent

transered more the 100k into their account due to apromotional offer received. company never applied the promotion. a supervisor who promised to call back certainly never did. report them to the sec. stay away from them

On 4/15/17 i mailed out $6500 to amtd in omaha for my 2016 ira contribution and on 5/10/17 i called ameritrade since I did not receive my confirmation via e mail like i received the year before and talking to your customer service rep he initially told me that my contribution was foe 2015 and they sent it back but after i told him that i clearly wrote 2016 contribution he altered his story and told me that you receive it late but i told him that i had the post office postmarked it the day i mailed it out which was 4/15/17 and then he told me that i was right and then he told me that you dont accept money orders and that you called me 8 times on the 17 apr 17 and some one would call me back from the ira dept i subsequently checked my phone provider to see if anyone called on that date from 1-800 or 402 called numerous times and they told me no so iwaited for my returncall and after 4 days i called back and another rep told me they would call me back and i waited another 5 days and no one called me back(you have no customer service) and i talked to a mgr mr buckley on thu 5/18/17 and he told me that i called at 630 am and the ira dept was closed until 8 am and he would call me back which he did he confirmed to me that no one called8 times like the 1 st rep said and that they returned my money orders to my address and now i ve done my taxes knowing i made my 6500 contribution which you rejected because payment was by money order and now inhave to dont a revised tax form but i want you to know ill be transfering to a responsible online broker who gives customer servive and i will be writing to the appropriate govt agency about what you did not do-like calling your customerand giving me the opportunity to send you a overnight ck

I did a wire transfer into another account it was rejected. It’s been over a week and I have received my money. Please resolve this issue asap…
