Having major problems with a branch band and customer service department. They are refusing to give me corporate phone to file a complaint. If I don’t hear from someone soon, I will make sure to contact our TV channel help line in Chicago and will contact the FCC to file a complaint. Your bank is refusing to help me to is stealing my money.

I’m really disappointed on how TCF Bank takes care of their employees. My daughter has been employed with TCF Bank for several years; she’s pregnant and has been asking for a chair to be able to seat when not busy. This request was given when she was in her early term of her pregnancy. Unfortunately, months later she is still requesting a chair, while she works two/three days working a double shift (as supervisor), her feet remain so swollen that they hurt. There are certain policies and courtesy issues that should be given towards your employees. I understand the issues that can occur for providing your staff with chairs while working, but than you have special situations that out of courtesy and concern for your employees should be accommodated. The request was made to the previous manager and current manager, and we have yet to see any change happen.

I have to move my business accounts away from TCF. I am unable to transact business because of TCF’s actions. The bank keeps sitting on my funds and giving me ridiculous explanations for why it is happening. The customer service by Jennifer and Marcus at the TCF Midway is very, very poor. Every time I am in there, they are denying someone access to funds. Marcus appeared to enjoin making it difficult for me. The staff at Lexington and University Avenue TCF are equally poor at addressing issues. Thank the lord there are other banks out there who want my business.

To Whom It May Concern:

I had an issue with a job scam whereupon they sent me a check #3731 from the First Community Bank, NA, from Crossmark Development & Construction LLC for $3,250.32. I deposited that check, per the “employer’s” request into my checking account, 2770983043, on January 21, 2017, a Saturday, at the branch at 481 Busse Highway, Park Ridge, IL, 60068. On Monday, January 23, 2017, I inquired at the branch if that check had cleared and was told by Ms. Elizabeta Mujic, branch supervisor, that it had cleared. Since I know that banks don’t run their banking items through their computer systems until the evening of a business day, I again asked Ms. Mujic if the check had really cleared, and she again assured me that it had. I then withdrew $3,000.00 from my account, and per the “employer,” deposited the cash into the Bank of America under the account name Awe Adeola, account number 381047845138, to purchase a computer and scanner/fax/printer. Then, I find out that the check had, in fact, not cleared but was only showing available funds. My problem was further compounded by another check that the “employer” sent to me for $5,000.00, which again showed available funds. I did not withdraw any funds on that check. After that, the check for $3,250.32 came back as NSF funds/altered check, as did the $5,000.00 check from DMKS Properties, LLC, check number 004343, from the Federal Reserve Bank Atlanta. Because the $3,250.32 check did not clear, many of my bills being paid for the end of January bounced, and multiple fees where deducted from my account for paying from an account that now had a negative balance along with fees for deposits denied.

I feel that the branch supervisor, Ms. Elizabeta Mujic, did not do her job correctly to protect my money and, in fact, lied to me about the $3,250.32 check clearing. She told me that, because I was a longstanding customer, that allowed the $3,000 to be drawn from my account because the check had been posted and was showing as available funds. Since when is it legal to issue funds on checks that haven’t cleared just because I have been a customer for a couple of years? I am appalled that TCF Bank would allow such a practice to be utilized. I have already alerted the FBI on the scam perpetrated on me by the “employer”, and I’m about to alert the State of Illinois regarding this practice of allowing funds to be withdraw on checks that have not cleared. Do you understand the financial disaster I am now in because of allowing these funds to be withdrawn? I am asking TCF Bank to reverse these fees for bounced checks and NSF deposits and to also reimburse me the $3,000.00 that should not have been allowed to be removed from my account.

Please respond to me soonest regarding this matter.

Thank you for your time in looking into this.

Regards,

Regina M Reimann

PS. I will also mail this complaint to you.

ZEO card is HORRIBLE!!
I’m trying to understand how a corporation can push out a product and not inform the employees about the new product that your implementing. I opened the ZEO card, which was kool, to make deposits and such, but account was closed and no one knew why!?! They barley know or understand how to open the account, add money or withdrawal. So I find out that the account was closed due to inactivity😳. Why was this not in your policy? Spoken with different representatives also the branch. Ok, done what was asked to open a new account. Ok, they are not able to open S new account and do not know why!?! They called IT tried several times and was told the system has to do an update! Well the account was closed in September 2016, so how far behind is your system updates?
Come in TCF, REALLY! This need to be known to consumers! ASAP!!!

Your bank is ridiculous! I reported fraudulent activity on MY account 12/16 and was treated like a criminal!! I had my tcf card used at an atm with a bogus deposit/wdwl scam and your bank has done nothing!!! There are transactions for $500 ATM withdrawal and another $849.50 that your bank cleared and wants to charge me for when I was sitting at my desk at work! I went to a branch 12/17 and was told corporate needs to handle, call them! EXCUSE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was robbed, reported it and have been treated unfairly! run the cameras at your atm in bedford park Friday morning 12/16, you will not see me!!!!! How dare your bank accuse me and refuse to help me with this issue when there is evidence that the people who committed these transactions were not me. Now you guys close my account without even notifying me and have it negative to the tune of over $1500 I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT!!!!! Are you serious????????????? I REPORTED THE PROBLEM TO YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL AS THE BRANCH ON RIDGELAND IN OAK LAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken recently with a scam. This was done by Level One Outsourse and they are using checks from your bank. At this time we are investigating the scam through our police department, so we are not sure if these are counterfite checks or not. The checks I have that have not been deposited are # 104859715 & 1048559716. The numbers on the bottom of the checks are: 104859715 – 29107000 – 1999011720060. I don’t know if these are numbers you use but I would like a response because it will help in our investification.

It is 11/16/2016 and I happen to notice on my online banking that all of my transactions are rearranged from yesterday and a overdraft fee was applied in the mist of TCF bank “processing process” . Even if I did overdraft the account the bank tellers are telling the customers that if there is a overdraft you won’t receive a fee for 24 hours. Which I have on video I had my husband open another account there to see if they are still telling the customers that and they are. TCF has reordered my transactions so they can charge fees. Then when you call to reverse it they don’t want to.Unfortunately Tcf didn’t get tangled into the big Bank of America large class action lawsuit for doing this. But I have addressed this before and if every fee that was placed on my account in its history isn’t refunded.I am more than willing to exploit the processing and how they are applying these fees.Especially the using another ATM fee when they’re ATMs are down the LATHRUP Village ATM was down for three weeks and the Farmington Hills ATM in Target is out of service!

This is EXACTLY what happened to us the other day. We have pending transactions that they put through first according to their computer (we cant see that on our end) and they charged us $187 in od fees. We were told also the fees come 24 hours after the over draft, we were also told that the merchants take their money out in certain orders so no matter if you keep a paper register it will always be wrong. This bank needs to be help accountable for their actions. They can not say something is pending on our end of the computer and say its gone through on theirs

Before, I got married in 2014. I received a check of $4,000.00 in the mail. I took it to a TCF bank at Tempe Market Place. off McClintock and the 202. So they can look at the check for me. I told them that I did not knew the person that sent it to me. They said it might be a spam check (False account). I told them to just shred the check, then I left. After I got married and was getting on my new husband account. THat TCF Bank that I went to and told them to shred the check, didn’t. Instead they put I tried to cash the spam check. They falsely put information out on me and now I am not able to have any bank accounts with no one. When I try to get it resolved at the location. Their excuses to me was, “Can’t help you. You have to contact the corporate office.

One of your branch managers at the Mesa Arizona location, (@Mckellips & Stapley) fraudulently manipulated my bank account. Before I go to the police and have her embarrassingly arrested while at work, in front of customers, (not a good look for business) I’d like to file a complaint about her activity and see how TCF would like to handle handle this situation….unless her manipulation of my money and my account are things TCF encourages their employees to do. It is Friday 6/10/2016…..if I have had no feedback from you on this matter by the end of business Monday 6/13/2016…..I will assume that the manipulation of my account was and is an activity encouraged by the Corporate Office in MN, and proceed with filing criminal charges against the Bank Manager and arranging her Perp walk from the bank during banking hours……..that should be a great video to go viral quickly……and could be great for business.
I guess we will find out Monday at 5pm, Arizona time.

I received notice that the bank office in the Jewel food store in Crystal Lake will be closed on May 16th. We opened our accounts at TCF because of the convenience of the location. Will you open another branch in Crystal Lake or should we change to another bank? We have multiple checking accounts, money market accounts and my business account.

I am a commercial real Estate broker that is owed $12,500.00 by TCF BANK from a OREO sale. The sale of 1505-1513 Mitchell Drive, Oswego took place after our listing expired and our buyer “John Keeley” purchased the building through the auction firm. This buyer was protected after the termination of the listing. I have never been paid for this transaction the amount owed is $12,500.00. Are contact is out of the TCF Bur Ridge office and he does not respond to my calls. We currently have the last asset Lot 3 in Crest Hill scheduled to close next week. I possible solution would be to pay us an additional $12,500.00 commission on this transaction to make us whole. I attached the current commission statement for lot 3 In Crest Hill. Please contact me so we can resolve this issue I have all the required back up for this transaction.

I wish to make a complaint concerning one of your branch location 7155 Point Douglas Drive Cottage Grove, Minnesota. My business partner and I came to the location to cash a $500 dollar check, because I have an account I ask the teller if the check be signed over to me to be cashed and the teller said yes so we filled out the information and the teller said that we needed both of our drivers license. Because it was a business check the teller explained that the original person named on the check must cash it. Another teller explained to the teller we were working with that the check must be verified, the teller verified that the checking account had enough fun to be paid out but the other teller said that they needed to call the person who wrote the check to verify that the check was not stolen and stated to us that they had to make sure that we had not stolen the check this is very disrespectful and inappropriate especially talking loud to where other customers can hear this is not good customer service in treating customers the way that we were treated. This feel like that it was racially motivated towards us. No thank you or apology for the inconvenience or nothing. Please reply as soon as possible. Thanking you in advance for your time and patience.

Your website is not secure according to Google. I use Chrome, and when I access your website I see red crossed out https in your address. This is because of an update—

“Sometime in Spring 2015, Google Chrome version 42 (available in beta as of March 2015) is expected to be released. This version of Chrome flags as insecure sites with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates that use SHA-1 instead of SHA-2.”

You need to update your certificate, as other banks have. I don’t feel secure logging on your website and may remove my checking account from your bank.
