Speedway is a wholly owned subsidiary of Marathon Petroleum.

Speedway began as Speedway 79, a Michigan based gas station chain.

In 1959, the company was purchased by the Ohio Oil Company (now Marathon) and all stations were converted to Marathon brand.

Speedway and SuperAmerica were combined in 1998 when Marathon and Ashland merged.

In early August I pumped gas at the speedway in Miamisburg and the next day my car came to a complete halt On the highway while in motion. It went from 70 miles an hour to 0 on I 75, Completely losing power as if I’d run out of gas yet I had a full tank. I had to contact 911 as my car died in a very precarious location on the highway, which made it extremely dangerous for me and for other drivers. The state highway patrol immediately called for a tow. It was towed to the dealer, Joe Morgan Honda in Monroe where many tests were done, the end result was the gas was drained new gas put in and the car worked fine. The total cost between the gas, the tow, and it getting fixed at Joe Morgan was roughly $650 out of pocket. I immediately contacted speedway with all the information, the receipts, photos, the write up from Joe Morgan Honda that gave the rationale and reason of the gas being bad. After several phone calls to speedway corporate, they told me they were looking into it, and later sent me a letter saying they’ve denied the claim because I didn’t have enough proof. I had about as much proof as you could possibly have, Including a detailed letter from the dealer outlining gas being the issue. Speedway corporate reviewed all of my information and tried to point out a technicality that the dealer said in the future I would need a new battery and try to blame that for the issue. Joe Morgan Honda laughed at that accusations saying a battery is only responsible for starting a vehicle once a vehicle is in motion a battery would not be the reason why it would suddenly lose power on the highway. I then provided speedway with documentation from the dealer stating that it was not the battery and that my battery was tested as well as a brand new battery with the bad gas and battery was ruled out. Speedway corporate was still not willing to negotiate with my attorney requesting simply the repayment of the out-of-pocket expenses that was caused by what was proven to be the bad gas. It’s simply a David versus Goliath mentality, where although Speedway that the testing systems in place to monitor gas quality, are not full proof, They know that it would be difficult to prove. Shame on you speedway, When the writing is on the wall you should be willing to stand up for your product and take responsibility with its shortcomings.

To Speedway’s Marketing Department: Stop the false advertising for points….you continually offer bonus points on various products with the purchase of a hot beverage – whether its Speedway, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks coffee. The catch is this offer is only valid with a Speedway brand coffee. Those stores selling Dunkin Donuts offer the deal, but do not award points. The store manager’s remove the offer, after you leave they put the flyer back on the products for the next sucker to purchase a product thinking they’re getting bonus points. FALSE ADVERTISING….change your marketing practices! 🙁

I worked for a Speedway here in Batavia IL off Wilson st. and Kirk rd. I worked for them for a few weeks end of May and a week in the beginning of June. Was not able to clock in properly and I never got paid for the hours I was there. My thing is I will not shop here and neither will my family. This company doesn’t pay people who work for them. This is why I just up and stopped showing up no point in going to a job that doesn’t pay.

I and having that same problem rn. I worked 46 hours they wanna pay me for 36. I am going to talk to a lawyer Thursday morning. I even have a message from the manager saying i have 46 hours not 36. This place always messes up my check smdh

I went to Speedway on 747 Bethlehem Pike in Montgomerville, PA to get gas and also came up to the window to buy $8 dollar worth of Powerball. I asked the black gentleman I wanted to buy $8 powerball but then he came out with $16 worth of powerball and the worst thing was he picked only one set of number, when I told him I did not ask for $16 but only $8 and he became loud and unprofessional toward me. He said I should not be playing the lottery and should use the money to help the poor, to be honest that is my choice and none of his business. He then said you need to come back and talk to the manager since she is not there right now, he came outside and became loud and threatening toward me, he is tall and big and all I wanted to ask why he chose to pick $16 while I asked only $8 of Powerball, he said because people bought it but I told him nobody is the same and that is my choice. I went home and called the Speedway store number and guess what, the manager was there and told me she was off the clock and did not want to even talk to me on the phone, hung up, it was so unprofessional and rude. I would have been okay if they just admitted that it was his mistake to sell me the wrong amount of Powerball. That is the reason why I am here.

I was at the speedway on route 48 and 130 in Monroeville Pennsylvania last night at approximately 11:05 PM, for the third time this week they have given me the wrong cigarettes and yet I am there every day so by now they should know what their customers are asking for especially when they are repeat customers. They would not exchange the cigarettes for me and now I am stuck with a pack that I will not smoke. They have the slowest & stupidest employees, it’s a wonder your store is not called “Slow-way! I will never go in one of your stores again! Keep hiring idiots & you will be out of business!

Your b*tch at the newton store decided to tell me I did not look but 17 I’m 30 and tats every where the. Came out side the store tasing hell in front of my kids I don’t know about you but I carry a 9 mm and if that is how your employer are pos to do things that’s bs she left her drawer and came all the way out to my car while her man is all whacked out in side and I know he was sacked out cause he goes to the sobxon clinic and she does drugs

Your store on Broadway and Henry St. in Muskegon, Michigan is an eyesore. Why do you allow this station to become so “run down” looking? It’s appearance is a disgrace to the neighborhood. It looks like decades have elapsed with no care to this structure.

I don’t work at speedway (and god willing I never have to ) but I have been a customer for many years I HAVE to say this speedway sucks. defectant pumps all the time (always out of order). their management thinks their gods. whoa, wow your an manager at speedway. baahahahaha. their customer service is awful esceptionally from the management. never again. arrogant &^%$.

I am Handicapped in a sort of way I had a fall back some time ago at work broke a bone in my back and ruptured my stomach. I had about to sit of my intestines removed I’m a victim of faulty surgery also it seems the mesh they used in my stomach took on its own problems long story short I was using the bathroom at Speedway and it takes me a little bit of time I just can’t go real fast I was in the bathroom maybe 20 minutes when the manager came back to the door I started banging on the door I stated I was using the bathroom she stated I need to come out of there I told her I was almost finished and I had problems I would be outside a police officer came in the store not for me but to buy something for himself he heard the commotion and came back to the bathroom door and started banging on it also by this time I am so embarrassed I’m trying to clean myself up and get out the door as fast as possible when I go out the door the ultra start screaming in my face I showed him the scar on my stomach and told him my problem and he said what you need to take your problems somewhere else the humiliation I suffered that day was tremendous I was subsequently trespassed from that Speedway about two months later not thinking I rode my bicycle across the parking lot low and behold cops are everywhere they stopped me you would think a drug sting was going down plain clothes 10 12 police officers for me force me off my bike arrested me for trespassing I done 18 days in the Hillsborough County Jail because of this I’ve had enough I’m going to fight back Speedway owes me an apology and I think they should give me one thank you

We were recently at the Speedway in Williamsburg, Virginia (Richmond Road) on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at approximately 2:20 p.m. We were so amazed at the employee working the counter and how she took care of her customers. I unfortunately did not get her name but she was a young lady with brunette hair and hopefully you can identify her by the time frame. As my husband and I were leaving the store we both commented about her awesome customer service skills, we were in a Speedway and I felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton. We witnessed her interaction with another customer while waiting in line and it was obvious from that interaction that he was a frequent customer and she showed concern and special care towards him. Then we came to the counter to purchase our coffee and her smile and kindness was great. This is an employee who deserves recognition. It was like an episode of Under Cover Boss where you encounter an employee who is just awesome! If we lived in Richmond I would frequent that store just to see her. I hope you can identify her by our vague description and give her the recognition she deserves. Regards

Wanted to check the status of my claim. However I encountered the most unprofessional conduct ever. The behavior and attitude of the individuals are unacceptable. I spoke to a woman named (Kelly ,she’s an cliam specialist . At Speedway customer service at 800-643-1943. She got on the call as if she didn’t even want to deal with it. Immediately I picked up on the tone of voice. I Say I’m checking in on my complaint. [She said well it looks like you have called in many times. I Say well that’s what I’m supposed to do. She says well nobody else complains. Not likening at all how She is treating me. I ask to speak to someone else. Without any hesitation nor fear. Letting me know that nothing is going to happen. Basically she and her boss are in agreement. Hello this is (Jamie ) he says I tell him how I feel. About how the conversation with Kelly went. Speaking with him was absolutely no better. He to tried to act as if the problems dealing with Speedway. Was my fault . I told him no one that spends there money wants to be deceived. Especially when buying cigarettes. I went on to tell him customers. Expect there purchases to be fresh. Not old or expired. And when the store knowingly put them up to sell .At that time it really does become deceptive. Consumers have rights and the fundamental right to inspect. Before buying if you don’t you’ll be stuck. And calling customer service. He then tells me that I was threatening him And then further tried intimidate me by saying. That he was going to call security on me. That was outrageous. I’m so insulted and want something done. I had the worst experience anyone could have ever had in one of your stores in Saranac Michigan. I went in to use the restroom. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I am so glad I had my husband with me. I could not get off the toilet why well
1st it is not at regulation height according to the ADA

2nd the toilet was not even secured to the floor. The seal was missing and water leaking.

3rd the toilet seat was not secured properly.
4th no protective cover on the pipes under the sink.
5th no Braille signage on the bathroom.
6th the parking for handicap parking needs resurfaced.

What is sad is that I had been in this store almost 4 years ago and brought this to the manager and nothing was done. Well, after today that is going to change…it was to the point we almost had to call the EMTS to get me off the toilet. And when i was finally able to get up I was wearing a dress and the back of my dress went into the toilet bowel.
How degrading. The manager that was there felt horrible. I have been in many speedway gas ststions and none as bad as this. She said the health dept had just came and did inspections that is for health issues but not ADA barrier free issues. Let me make it very clear…I will be sending a letter to the ADA and to the Department of Justice. I will expect a response regarding this issue. If I do not hear back I will contact the building inspector and the health department and who do I send my cleaning bill to as well.

The store at 1621 W. Jefferson Joliet Il is absolutely the filthy store I have ever seen. I go there every day and workers are in the back while one is at the register and the line going out the door. Or they are out smoking. I was in the store today and the washrooms were out of order and the pop and coffee counters were discussing. Filthy Floor are sticky I lost my sandels. SomeBODY clean up this store or my next call will be to the HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR FLITHY CONDITION AND NO WORKING BATHROOMS.

Cierra at the Speedway In Belleair Bluffs, Florida on the corner of Indian Rocks road and west bay drive has got to go. This girl is so combative and nasty that I cannot believe she still has a job working with the public. I have been patronizing this store everyday, multiple times a day for years. I enjoy the other employees and the good rapport that I ha d established with them and it is within walking distance of my apartment but Cierra has never warmed up to me or any regular for that matter . I hear complaints all the time and scratch my head wondering why she is still there! She hides for the last 20 minutes of her shift and locks the door while people come and look around and wait and finally drive off in search of another gas station . She is aggressive and eager to fight with customers . I have seen her do it to elderly people, regulars etc. I worked in customer service for 25 years and would have been fired in a second if I pulled half of the things she does and if I ever initiated a confrontation or refused service to someone because it was nearing closing time.. forget numerous people a few times a week! I cannot even fathom it. This girl has the most repugnant personality! I’m just shocked! I finally went in to speak with the manager about this bully and the one other customer who happened to be in the store at this time chimed in and started comlaining about her too. If you mention her name to anyone who frequents the store you get an earful. She is terrible for business and needs to find a job where she does not work anywhere near other humans forget working with the public. All I can say is you wouldn’t believe how offensive she is until you had an encounter with her. She actually growls at people . Get her out of there!!!

I am writing to inform you how bad the speedway store located at 3510 Elizabeth Lk. rd , Waterford MI. has become over the last month . They have been out of cups and stews for fountain drinks, the pizza has been empty a few times and not many hot dogs and other things on the warmer. Only have one person wait on costumers especially at busy times like 12:00 PM – 1:30PM. the place is not being will cleaned up either. Sad to see but this store falling apart .

The Speedway store on Main St in Binghamton N.Y. has really gone down hill. The management(So Called), is pathetic and runs the place like”Ghetto Mart “, the assistant manager is more occupied with smoking blunts, eating, and consuming beverages. Of course I’d be amiss if didn’t mention talking to customers in street language etc. But I’m only the customer and my other available choices of businesses where i can”Take my business” are available. These poorly performing workers in my opinion,should be dismissed,they missed the Customer Service Training Classes AND definable,paid no attention,PERIOD.

I went to Speedway at 8:30 Sunday morning April 8, 2018. There was no regular coffee made. It was not busy and there is no excuse for not having coffee. I went to the store Lewis and Clark Parkway in Clarksville, Indiana. Several times I have stopped here and no regular coffee made. I called to talk to the manager. She asked me was I calling her to argue with her. I just wanted to know why there was no regular coffee and I wanted to get corporate office phone number. She would not give me the number so I hung up on her. All I am saying is make sure there is coffee made in the morning.

I am very irritated that Speedway has installed new “price” signs that are so tall and bright that I can now see them from every window in my house, and I live a mile away. This is inconsiderate to their communities and shows their motive is to get the interstate consumers. Until they are a better corporate and community citizen and change these obtrusive signs, I will be going elsewhere. Please lower and dim the lights at the 7397 Tylersville location in West Chester, Oh.

Hi my name is Jaquana Lee and I worked for Speedway up until 03/09/2018 at store 4102.. I was released from the job because I left one day with telling a manager that I had to leave because I had a appointment and also had to pick up my son..But the next day I come back and the same person I told I had to leave was now looking me and my face and telling me because she is so called still a manager in training that I was suppose to let someone else know too and now I get that and understand but then she goes on to say because of that I was considering walking off my job so that requires a automatic termination so my thing is this I couldn’t tell her I had to leave but it’s ok for them to send her to fire me?? I didn’t understand I had also reached out to Abby the DM only for her to ignore me and I have tried multiple times to reach Penny Clark because I feel as tho it was unfair and I wasn’t giving a chance..then to hear from other employees that Abby stated that she wanted to fire me because I was in drama at ever store I work was also not true but yet she never gave me a chance or actually took the time to sit and talk with me..I got hired for 4102 but did my training at the Norcross store never had any problems there..even at 4102 I didn’t have any problems there either besides wat i was put that had nothing to do with which a ex co worker told the GM I had nothing to do with it all ever did was my job..Even when I was sent to work at 4106 all ever did was my job never said anything out the way to anyone there the problem I had was the GM is very verbally rude and disrespectful to her employees she even told me when i first came there that she don’t have no time for no drama and I must have forgot she was the one that got me to were I was trying to get to she even took it upon herself to tell me while I was in the back getting ready to leave to get the F off my phone thank you and I never said anything back to her..I even told the GM at 4102 wat was said to me and no one did anything but after all the hard work I put in for the company this how I get done thanks..

I understand that you guys are doing what you are thinking is best for the company but this no manager you have hired is rude never has a smile on her face and makes the whole shopping experience less than desirable you can tell that her mere presence has even affected the staff as a whole!!!!!!! I wish you guys would bring BRIAN back he was always pleasant greeted every customer personally new each one by name the staff and customers all loved him you should see how often customers come in and ask were he is when he was there it seem like a professional family his presence is truly missed I think you guys truly dropped the ball when you let him go. The customer really enjoyed having Brian there this Speedway doesn’t run the same things aren’t there items aren’t being ordered the store is not running as it was I have been a valued long time customer and I am very disappointed in you guys it is not often you can come around good staff like that The store I’m speaking of is located on six mile and beech Daly in Redford Michigan store # 2233

As the owner of a Trucking company it’s become hard enough to make a good living. For the last 6 months I’ve been telling the clerks at store 0001421 Frankfort ,Illinois that there diesel pumps need to be calibrated, although it’s only 5 cents for every $400.00 when you spend around $1600.00 a week for fuel that will add up at the end of the year! I would stop there for convenience on my way out or way back . Well that’s coming to an end I will start going out of my way to buy fuel and tell my fellow drivers not to stop there and also to watch the pumps at other speedways. Not to mention that the lights don’t work on the pumps and the two fuel islands areas never get cleaned.
Maybe since this store got in trouble for selling cigarettes to minors they figure they need to make up that money somewhere else

Soy una persona muy ocupada pero en vista de lo afectado que estoy por la ausencia de la Sra. MARY en la gas station, la cual es la única empleada que te recibe con una sonrisa y ya sabe lo que uno quiere como el café de tododas las mañanas que voy a comprar. Uno como cliente va por la calidad de atención que tienen los empleados no es por la marca o los productos, la clave de todo negocio son sus empleados, la referencia del buen trato tiene un efecto mulplicador .

Recomendación: deben adiestrar a los Manager con cursos de atención al cliente y como tratar a los empleados,

I am saddened that ex employee Mari Nemnon is no longer working there. I’m my opinion as a regular customer, I think it was a very bad decision, because she was very polite with me and I saw that she was very polite with other customers as well. She was very effective and did her job very well. She also answered all customer’s questions. I am ver saddened about not seeing her there anymore.

Muy buenos días , con gran asombro acabo de descubrir que la sra Mary (excelente ser humano, engloba lo que toda persona elegida para trabajar con público necesita, ) es una persona de esas que prefieres ir hasta ese sitio a poner gasolina o por cualquier cosa que ir al que queda en tu camino sabe porque? Porque nuestras vidas son por lo general agitadas , convulsionadas y por ende hasta maltratadas por el personal que colocan enfrente para atender al publico, cosa que casi ningún gerente se preocupa por hacer seguimiento, como por ejemplo la persona que tienen nueva en el establecimiento, es lo más desagradable visualmente desde el principio tiene por malísima costumbre no mirar a los ojos al cliente eso es lo peor que desde un principio hace y es la peor mala impresión que uno recibe, yo he trabajado formando personal toda mi vida de hecho soy relacionista pública, y eso lo tomo muy en cuenta porque no se inspira confianza no debes olvidar el hecho que te hayan elegido tienes ya el mi di ganado personas así no tiene. Éxito nunca, estuve en fila de tres personas y aproveché de observarla porque eso lo llevo en la sangre y noté que a ningún cliente ni saluda mi ofrece ni se despide hasta que me toco mi lugar , el cual fue lo peor recordado en vista de que no hablé esperando me saludara y me ofreciera o preguntara en que podía ayudar se vio en la necesidad de decirme “DIGA” figúrese ud , le dije a pensé tenía dificultad para hablar y escuchar de nacimiento y me dijo dígame de nuevo le dije a ud lo que está es de mal humor y me dijo no porsupuesto que no , entonces le dije pues es ud bien desagradable ? Me dijo est libre le respondí que lastima , en ese momento hizo un leve cambio al ordenar lo que quería pague y me fui ella notó el disgusto demasiado tarde tratode decirme hasta luego el cual no recibió de mi respuesta alguna porque es un ser muy mal educado, haciendo referencia a esto es que viene mi tema, desconozco la razón por cuál motivó la sra Mary ya no está , pero desde lo más profundo les digo tremendo error aunque nadie es indispensable si va a cambiarla traten aunque difícil conseguir alguien por lo menos similar a ella y no personas sin calidad humana alguna , así como yo que por supuesto no voy más y eso escríbalo ( aunque dirán no importa vendrán otros) si debería importarle y mucho perdonas que nos ayudan a fortalecer nuestra inversión deben permanecer con nosotros . I can’t believe that Mari is no longer working at 6414 store in Doral, Florida. I already got used to see her once a week and she always had some special treat to me and my son. The community is not the same without her. From other comments I’ve been reading, it seems that she was fired for unfair reasons. I would like to think that Speedway treats good its employees as Mari did to me. So, I’m writing just to let you know that you have made a big mistake by letting her go and this should be fixed.

Hello a great greeting for usredes, I call Ladys, I frequent daily Speedway store 6414 doral fl, is one of the store that I love, for the excellent attention of its employees, I found out that Mari was fired, it gave me so much nostalgia and feeling, I met her in that store 6414, about 8 months ago, her attention is unique, a charismatic girl, who with her smile sweetened us the morning when she touched that rurno, the afternoon, night or early morning, whatever the reason, as Loyal customer I want Mari to return to her work, of a few months here she also changed Manager to a certain George, because she falls badly, she does not have management to manage a rein, and even less the cashier Adriana, people like that should not qualify for a service coustumer, my husband and I, we want Mari to return to the Speedway store 6414 team, she is a great girl with good manners, thank you very much for your attention Ladys and Jesus!

We don’t really pay attention to the cashiers at gas stations because we go to fuel our cars, buy some gum or a soda; just a quick visit. Mari Nemnon at Speedway located at 107th ave and 41st street at Doral is the definition of great customer service. Little details like good morning, or “can I help you?” are what make us remember people who serve us at places like these. Will definitely visit this station for my quick needs!!

So we all know that everytime you need to put gas and buy something quick, the normal places to go are the shell, mobil or 7/11 gas stations.
Well a while back i was looking for one of these at 2 am and none of them were open at all so i decided to try Speedway, which i had never experienced, and little did i expect that i would be making this one my favorite destination to go on everytime i needed something quick.
The employees are amazing, they treat you like if you were family and after going for months that treatment hasnt changed at all, especially from this lady called Mary.
Shes been exceptional everytime i go in, she even helped me carry some stuffs to my car once!
I believe thats the best gas station i’ve gone in my life so far, because you dont expect anything from it, you usually go to one just to get some cigarettes or soda or even a hot dog and thats all; what makes this one special is the treatment they give to their clients at any time of the day, and if you see Mary in it then you know you will be in good hands!
The speedway store im talking about is located in 107 nw and 41 st at doral florida.
If you are around go visit it, and please! Say hi to Mary for me!

I tend to go to the speedway by my house (Doral,FL 107th ave and 41st St) to get gas and coffe. I noticed the other day that the service wasnt so good and had to wait in line for like 10 minutes. When i finally got to the cashier i noticed it wasnt the same lady always. With Mari Nemnnon there was never line and everything would get done right. She made morning right and always giving a good morning and wishing me a happy day. I would really wish she would be back to give me my smooth morning rountines back.

She is always making great conversation with the costomers, always helping out and giving good feed back to those that are in doubt of anything. I always come back to that store cause I know she is always going to greet me with a smile and that is very pleasing to know she is always there. I visited the store a couple of weeks back to buy something at the speedway on 107nw with 41st in doral fl (6414) and a lady with blonde hair took care of me, she was the nicest, I believe her name was Mari nemnnon, the store ran like clock work at nights, that experience was a wonderful at your store, but Friday night I went there was only a guy working there, the line was literally of 10+ people waiting, I waited over 20 minutes to pay and leave, my usual time with the blonde lady is 0-5 minutes. Plus she made my night 100% better with her nice way of being. I’d like to see her more often. She knows how to run a store properly not like the guy who got overwhelmed with clients on Friday night.

Our son lives in Columbus, Ohio and works in corporate at Speedway after many years of managing several of the area stores and training many for employment and management with much success. We have always been extremely proud of the man he has become, the life he has led and the loyalty and pride he has had in his work ethics.
This message is now the first time we have ever found ourselves writing to one of his employers to commend them and let them know how proud we are of the message they are passing on to our country. You have shown respect and honor to the men and women of the military and to the families who await their safe return.

Lynn is the manager of the Sturgis, Michigan store located at 600 S. Centerville Rd. I applied for a job there but wasn’t asked 1 question. All she did was sit back in her chair and just looked at me. I have over 7 years experience but was denied the position. I also seen her making pizza without using any gloves. She likes to argue with customers. My opinion is she needs to be retrained or fired.

Hey this just pissed me off cause i went to the speedway store 8189 in rocky point nc today which i frequently visit because i live in the area but ancways today i walk in and their a line going all the way around the store it sound like a damn laduary mat because the fountain drink hose kept making loud nosies theirs two cashiers cause bless their hearts annie and diana but anyway their is and assistant manager theur that aint worth a damn named maria and i promise you everytime i walk in this store she aint doing s**t really never has i was in the store for 30 minutes today cuz they are so busy and you got Maria a** just walking around like she in the twilight zone got a line going half around the store and she walks right pass the line dont even try to help the customers grap a pack a cigs and her cell phone and proceeds to go outside so when i get to the cash register i asked the cashiers how her day was going she said bad cause its been like this all day and the assistant manager Maria havent done s**t i felt bad for them i will be calling human resources on her on monday idk why speedway gave that woman a job cause she dont do s**t and shes snobby as hell she dont deserve that job going rid of the other assistant manager who he did a really good jog for this woman and that do nothing all sorry just had to vent cuz this has been going on for like a month now at that store

I’m sending this comment to all Front Office and human resources personnel with some concern of your CSR employees.
I spoke with a cashier one day who looked not-so happy with her responsibilities along with Speedway’s wages and work environment. After a short conversation I became curious about this corporation and decided to speak with other cashiers at different locations. It appeared that each of these employees had the same reactions to the first Speedway employee about the Corporate’s treatment to their team.
I was very sad and felt sorry about their stories and their treatment, so I felt I should send you my feeling of disgust for your way of saying thank you to the people that make big contributions making alot of money and successful corporation.
I’ll begin with the average wages you pay these people. For a cashier, who puts up with so much crap from the ugly public and does so much, you start them at an average of $8.20 per hr. REALLY??? That is nothing less than pathetic. Their annual appraisals/raises are wrapped around selling stupid candy bars and if they don’t sell enough fat pills, their raise is affected. That’s bull crap, no way to say it better. The max raise is .30. A person who gets that amount (if they sell those candy bars) will not see a jump in their bi-weekly pay. Knowing this, disgust me. Is this what an employee is worth to you? With this type of pay, you know it better than me, you have a VERY HIGH turn-over. Is this acceptable to you people? REALLY…..again?
I spoke with a cashier who has 13+ years and makes only $11.00. And another one who is making $8.60 after 4 years. The personnel in your Front Office should be ashamed of themselves. That kind of dedication to an employer is hard to find and this is the way you compensate their hard work???? One more time, REALLY???
there are other conditions and your ridiculous policies with the people who work their butts off to make you lots of $$$$, and that is no lunch breaks for anyone, even if they work 8, 10, 12, and sometimes longer. And this is ok with you executives who come up with this crap…Shame on all of you involved.
Now you can sit back and tell me this is the way it is with this work environment and other crap, but I see this unacceptable and disgusting. I’d personally like to give you a good piece of my thoughts and feelings, but it’s not worth the time, because I know there will be no change to this crappy work environment.
I will say this, and that is I’ll make some effort explaining to the people that are considering working for Speedway to not apply.

Doesn’t Recommend employment if you’re trying to survive.

I worked at Speedway LLC full-time


Where I worked, would be My manager, and a few co – workers.


Very low wages for the amount of work involved. No breaks, no lunches. Your full appraisal increase is determined on your “selling point”rate, and your speedy reward card rate. NOT your over all job performance. And your increase is a slap in your face!
Corporate expects a mgr to run a BIG store on barely no hours!!
Let’s see, besides maintaining the constant line of customers, At times, by myself. We (CSR’s) have to make clean and fill coffee are, masked coffee, clean and fill fountain area, sweep the floor, clean the bathrooms, mop, stock merchandise, front the isles, take out trash, and then “repeat”…. All for a whopping $8.60 per hour over a 4 year employment.
They do not care about your family life, they do not care about giving you a wage increase., across the street at pilot starting wage for CSR: 10.50 per hour. Me, a dedicated, loyal, depenable, honest and flexible employee, i made $8.60 per hour after 4 years.
I asked for an Increase, I got one IF I became a shift leader. So I did just that, eager to make a difference, to build a great team, except I hit a brick wall every time. I needed my managers back, but that didn’t happen because he can’t even be a GM.. So after 2 months of just trying so hard to be a positive difference, it wasn’t worh all my hard work. So i stepped down to a CSR. Wouldn’t you know, they took my 1.00 raise back!?!.
A few who hired in after me, like me in my 4th year and them under 6 months received 2 raises, putting their wages higher than mine! One individual who would show up with alcohol on her breath, had such an ugly attitude which ran 4 employees out because she would tell, and complain ALL the time. Nothing ever done! No write-up. This went on for about 7 month’s. 2 weeks ago she gets caught stealing $ 800 in lottery. Model employee right there!!!

Countless times of being crapped on, and speedway too stingy with the pocketbook to give raises to good, dependable hard working individuals.
It’s such a shame that they treat their employees the way they do, and give them wages that are actually below poverty level. You cannot survive with what little they pay you.
Fortunately I’ve recently been BLESSED.
I am now a cashier ONLY, where I receive a lunch, 2 breaks, 2 really good pay increases a year, EVERY holiday off PAID. Among many more wonderful benefits. And $5.00 more an hour to start.
Adios Speedway, you by far are the WORST company to work for, and I promise every chance I get, I will pass that on, because people work very hard for you and this company treats them HORRIBE!!Show Less

Advice to Management

For corporate people, let your GM’s be just that!! Instead of your gopher. For management, Look out for your good people, fight for them when they deserve a raise!!!!

Implement a break and lunch, people pull 8, 10 sometimes 12 hours, don’t they deserve one?? Our feet hurt, our legs hurt. Sometimes, no bathroom break bc with speedway, you can’t stop.

Im sure you get one.

I experienced a most horrible situation at the speedway in Mt Juliet TN #7166 yesterday. A employee had collapsed and one that has waited on us many times. Sandie always has a smile and a kind word and goes out of her way to help any of the customers. Yesterday one of her fellow employees was making comments while medical people were helping Sandie. Her name was shelby i asked later after we left and i called. She was standing there making comments to customers that this employee was mentally unstable and should be committed. One customer actually told her to back off but she kept bullying this poor employee. I will never shop in this store again and i will make sure i tell others about this situation. If this employee shelby is the type of racist, discriminating employee you hire then i feel sorry for this company. I do hope the the employee sandie is ok, but we will not be back.

I was a shift leader at store 7733 in Farmington NY. My gm got fired, and the DM asked me for there help to keep the store running while they could get a manager in there. It was 2 weeks then I went on vacation and then a Co Manager in training took over when I was on vacation. So the following week I called for my schedule, and she put me on nights, for no reason what so ever, we had a night crew all in place. So the next day she called me and said are you coming back, if so Ypu will have to deal with the fact I am your GM. It was hard for me to do that because the person they picked I worked with before when my former manager was on vacation, and she couldn’t fill cooler , can’t do negative count because she was never taught. I feel like I was loiked over even for consideration of being a Co Manager. I did call my DM and he never called me back. I quit my job because I felt harassed, and abused. I loved my job at Speedway and would go back in a heart beat if I had the opportunity to . I did call my GM and told him I made a mistake but never returned my call very professional.

This morning around 730am-8am I went to the speedway on Cameron Street Harrisburg Pennsylvania and my mom and I went in to purchase soda and the signs clearly said 3for3 for the dr.peppers and also when you spend 3$ you get 10 cent off gas each time you spend 3$ anyways the two cashiers that were there said they were 2 for 3 and my mom politely said no your signs say 3for3 and they were like show me your signs and they were all over the store and the one cashier called my mom a liar!!! And proceeded to fight with her in front of customers and everything calling her a grandma and that she’s going take her name tag off and clock out and jump over the counter and kick her a**!!! And I said are you serious?? And she starts with me saying you better control your mom and I said excuse me you shouldn’t even be talking like that!!! I couldn’t believe how rude these young punk a** kids were like seriously they need to be fired and really I could of pressed charges for her threatening my mom!!! And the whole entire time the other cashier kept backing her up and joining in with her when my mom and I were just in there the day before and we had no problem with getting the sodas 3for3 because the manager was there and he even told us they were 3for3!!! So I can tell you me and my mom will be going over their heads and the managers because I want her fired and everything and for someone who is a manager of a store not speedway but I work in customer service and if that was my employee I would of fired her on the spot!!!! I just can not believe how rude and ignorant that cashier was to me and my mom!!! So if anyone reads this and your from Harrisburg pa please I don’t recommend for you to go to that speedway on Cameron street!!! Thank you

Went to your west Radford store to purchase a 5 hr energy, 2 of them. After the purchase walked outside opened one and started to drink it when I noticed it had a brownish residue all on the threads and top..with this drink being mostly clear I was very concerned for my well being and thought I’m going to trade this out. So I go in see your cashier Daniel (newer employee to this store) and tell him I need to trade this out, it’s defective..He says I can’t trade it out because you’ve already opened it, I can sell you a new one. I say, how am I supposed to know if it’s defective without opening it…he said idk but I cant do anything about it….I say are you sure this is how it’s going to be….he says absolutely. After that I go outside to try and call a Manger or corporate of speedway..didnt get in touch with anyone…. So I go back in the store tell him if that’s how it was going to be I’d be sure not to spend another dollar in that place. That I spend 5-700 in there per month have over 100,000 points that you don’t get that from not buying XXXXX, I’m not trying to take advantage of no-one, its just the point..that’s not how you treat customers, especially when it’s in refference to a defective product.
I’m cashing out my points and will be dealing with sheets and Citgo moving forward. Damn shame..

I went to the speedway on chestnut st Emmaus pa on July 4th 2017 and the cashier was on the phone stood in line for about a hour to he acknowledged me told me his cash register was down it should be back up in a minute gave him a $10 bill for a pack of L&M bold 100s which only cost $7.04 and said I’ll be back in for my change went out to smoke a cigarette came back in he still couldn’t get in his drawer apologize to me but I already smoked a cigarette out of the pack so I couldn’t give it back went to Speedway the next morning asked what happened and told him that they had about $3 of my money and all she could do is apologize now if I would have stole $3 worth of product from Speedway they would have pressed charges on me but sense they took my $3 all they could do is apologize when that is theft I am thinking this is how Speedway works avoid him at all costs don’t let them steal your money like they did mine

I usually go into the speedway by my house EVERYDAY before work and I always get the carmel frappe, for the last week guess what nothing get the same answer the order has not came in. Well someone needs to get there act together cause when you have loyal customers who come in everyday for the same thing why not keep it in stock? So I go in tonight to check and get told well corporate changed the base for our frappe and we don’t have it in. So my question why would you change a ln already good selling product and why not keep in Stock cause you just lost a loyal customer.

I was at Speedway at 5945 E Stop 11 Rd and Arlington Rd. In Indianapolis, In. I noticed a male employee with blonde hair eatting a slice of pizza while handling cash, lotto, and tobacco. I asked him didn’t he think it was rude to be having his hands in his mouth and then hand out money and products to customer’s? He replied back with ” when you work somewhere and they dont give you a break you have to eat when you can” I replied back to him saying if you don’t want to work here dont. He replied back with “or you can not come back here again.” Another employee named Bre told him to stop saying what he was. I was in there around 415pm on Sunday 5/28/17 with my husband and special needs daughter.
I do not appreciate being told not to come back to Speedway when I have done nothing wrong but express how rude it is to be eatting and handling things and then be touching the things that the customer wants then give it to the customer with his spit on it. He wiped his mouth with his arm. That is just disgusting. If the health dept would have come in an seen what he was doing, I am pretty sure Speedway would have been wrote up by the inspector for an employee not following safety protocols to insure proper health codes. This person needs to be fired for the way he talked, acted and for his unsanitary actions. You never agrue with a customer and you for sure dont tell someone to never come back when they did nothing illegal.

I had a similiarincident at a Publix Suermarket drugstore. I and my partner Trish get our dozens of prescriptions a month at our local Publix. All the pharmacists know me by name. One day I needed a script filled the same day, a pain med for a recent surgery she had. They say about 45 minutes. I proceeded to shop and fill my cart, returning about an hour later. When I went to the window a woman told me not yet, and I jokingly said “Come on, I already spent a hundred bucks walking around “. She actually said, exact words, ” If you can’t wait go somewhere else”. I walked around for 20 minutes and she rang up my bill. I refused to say a word and left to go home asap( while I was still pissed off) and wrote an e-mail to the corporate offices inFlorida. I got a phone call two days later from corporate with an apology. Since that day she sees me and it’s , ” Hello Mr Mayo, How can I help you” ?

The speedway at 1321 Park Ave W Mansfield, OH 44906 racially profiled my son today 5/23/2017. The manager’s name was Stephanie. My son, age 16 and my oldest daughter, aged 18, was with me when I stopped at Speedway gas station to use their ATM because it seems like hardly anyone accepts American Express in this city, and I also purchased an orange juice and sprite on my American Express card. Anyhow, as I was getting money out the ATM, (needed to make a purchase at another store), the manger Stephanie approached my son and stated , “We have you on camera, what you took off the shelf and put in your pocket, I need you to put back on the shelf!” I, as his mother, stepped in and said, “Hold up… we have NEVER needed to steal s**t.” I pulled all my son’s pockets out and all he had was his cell phone and his wallet. He had put his wallet in his pocket.” Other customers were standing there looking confused. Might I add, at the time of the incident we were the only African American consumers in the store. No one messes with my children and think they are going to get away with it. The manager named Stephanie blatantly lied and humiliated us. My son had took nothing and that was PROVEN. I will be contacting an attorney. This happened today 5/23/17 at 5:49 pm EST. I bet you I never step inside another Speedway gas station EVER!!!!

I visited the Speedway on Monday morning May 8,2017 and went to the cafe to ring up my order so after I finished ringing up my order I stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to come and fix my order and this one girl that was working in the cafe just started talking to the cashier on the other side went back into the cooler came back out and looked at me and walked over and started pouring coffee. She was very rude and I go to this Speedway location 3-4 times a week for food and gas. I will not be returning anytime soon and especially in the morning. She needs to be fired. She had to have another one last night so I called in. Now I’m being forced to take a fmla. No pay for three weeks. How do I take care of my three kids like that?!!

today is a sad day i will no longer be going to speedway i was sold the wrong phone card by them to get it you have to punch it from cash register counter person must do it they hand you a paper receit with a pin # on it .it dosent tell what it is its just a pin # you put in your phone and it adds your mins. to your phone. they sell me apin # that aint what i asked for it takes all stored mins. away from me changes my service altogether and when i call custumer service to make along story short im. out 200 dollars of mins. and they could care less.i will be boycotting speedway. ive been custumer since speedy club started an all i see is they started getting good bizz. from rewards now every year less rewards.and could care less about the custumer.

I called up to the Speedway on North Main Street in London, KY at 5:33PM today and an older woman picked up the phone. She was immediately rude to me. I asked her to check the price of a carton of cigarettes for me and she said she couldn’t price check over the phone, that I needed to come into the gas station. I am on vacation in MI and my card was rung up for more than it was supposed to be, and I explained that to her. She got rude again and said she could only give me the 1-800 number to file a complaint. I asked to speak to her manager and she told me she was one, and she started laughing. I asked her for the name of her boss, she told me his name, and then she called me a XXXXXX, and hung up the phone. If this is how she wants to treat customers, she needs to be fired.

I am a frequent Speedway customer. I live in Cheboygan, Michigan and In our small town we only have one Speedway gas station. It is conveniently located close to my home so we stop there a few times a day most day. Me and my husband have always loved the staff at our local speedway store. The old manager was a gentleman who was kind and respectful. The kind of guy who asked how your day was. The kind of person you would expect to be in that position. I don’t know what happened to him but he was for some reason replaced with a woman who is a rude, disrespectful, arrogant, hateful person. She does not treat you with respect when you go in there. She picks and chooses who she wants to put on her customer service smile for. Apparently not all customers are good enough for that treatment. Since she took over we have had a couple run ins with her where she was rude to us, the lines are always ridiculously long. There will be 10 people in line and you will have the cashier working as fast as she can, and 2 more filling coffee or whatnot and then you will have miss manager sitting back at her post watching the chaos clearly hoping she don’t have to get up, and when she finally does she is not shy about showing her annoyance at having to do her job. I am in management and understand the bad days where you are busy but I also know that the reason you are in management is to help your staff and first and foremost your customers. Cuz that is why she has a job the customers. We generally deal with her ignorance and go about our day slightly annoyed but more feeling badly for her staff. Today although it topped all other days. We go in there every day for coffee and cigarettes. My husband is a Sault Chippewa Tribal Member and uses his tribal card which we have researched at length and is accepted as a form of identification. And it always has been there as well. He has used his tribal card there many many times to purchase tobacco and alcohol. He can vote with it, open bank accounts. But although he has used it there several times and it has been accepted by that manager herself many times today she decided it wasn’t acceptable. She denied to sell to him and told him they only accept Michigan drivers licenses or Michigan State Id’s. Which I know is not true. I used to work for speedway and many other like places. I know a military id, a passport, a tribal card, and the like are acceptable forms of id.we are also a tourist town being so close to Mackinac City we have thousands every year from all over the country visit our town. Plus we also have many people come from other countries in the summer to work using visa programs. So she is trying to tell us that someone from New Mexico can’t buy cigarettes due to not having a Michigan Id? Or someone from Jamaica can’t use their passport or Visa to purchase the same? It doesn’t make sense. She for some reason chose today that my husband shouldn’t be allowed to buy tobacco although he was using a legal identification card. I’m not writing this because I’m only mad about not buying there because it’s fine we will spend our money elsewhere. But the clear lack of decency and respect that woman shows for the customers who go in there every single day is unacceptable. It is her job and I would hope that speedway stores do not condone her behavior. Most of the people who work there are great and we have always enjoyed going in there but she has made it to where we and other locals we know choose not to visit that store anymore. The rudeness and shi**y service isn’t worth our time or money. Complaining isn’t typically something I would do because I understand people have bad days but if you choose to be in customer service than you need to know basic customer service skills. And clearly someone who openly discriminates against customers picking and choosing who deserves service should not be in management representing your company.

I see all these people saying that they were set up for failure automatically..but I dont get that. A few of your stories I understand, but in all honestly Speedway is the best company I’ve ever worked for. The hours may not be the best, but I had accurate training, a GM who knows what they’re doing and very understanding. Plenty of help when needed. Even the construction crew that did our remodel was great! Very polite and even cleaned up after themselves and left no dirt behind!

It seems to me that the problem is not so Mich the employees but so Much of the company itself. I worked for speedway in Nc for almost 2 YEARS and the last past 4 months has been hell on wheels. It’s really seems like when the new manager took over and mind u he was forced to be a manager he was only a shift leader, due to a gm quitting without notice because the DM didn’t have no consideration of a situation that was on hand, my job was set up for failure right then. It was more of an intimidation state from that point on basically he came in knowing a little to nothing and I which has practically help run this store knew the store in and out literally, knowing more than him he felt some type of way from the beginning. I never had as many problems in this store until he came along. Our customers we’re regular customers I knew what they wanted every time the enter the doors. Even business drop cause he was there and people was getting frustrated with him not knowing what to do. It’s not my fault he was put in a situation I was willing to help regardless. Speedway do not value their employees all they worry about is a dollar if they would value their good n hard working employees they business will run smoothly. They can’t even begin to expect anything different until they start treating people how they want to be treated as humans, they will always have a high turn over rate especially when the value of one employee is like the sXXXX on the bottom of their shoes then on top of that who expect someone to put their life on the line for 7.25 an hour? Speedway sucks management wise and corporate I will never recommend someone to work for them I could go on and on but hey it’s not like no one is really listening!! You know not drug testing the employees is really a big issue with a lot of the problems that I and I know a lit if customers have with the cashiers. I don’t no one on drugs handling my money nor taking care of my business. Speedway need better options when choosing who represent them as a whole.

I will not give too many specifics because my lawyer will be handling my complaints but I will say that the Massachusetts Speedway I worked for sounds exactly like the others in these posts. I just started working for them recently in a one person store and from week 1 my GM was setting me up to fail from every angle.*I put up with her constantly changing the rules thereby making everything I did wrong, *I put up with her making me look bad to others, *her complaining that we used too many paper towels to clean with (she brought wash cloths from her home) which I would not use because of bacteria, I mean really who wants a food surface wiped with someones home dishcloth? Too many trash bags,were being used (she wanted me too empty the large bags for the outside barrels into smaller ones and put the large ones back) disgusting I might add. “Too much cleaner just use water.” I put up with her incessant complaining, her paranoia about employees (me & 1 other stealing supplies from the store and who knows maybe they were but it wasn’t me. I can buy my own cleaners and supplies I don’t need Speedway’s. I finally only made a complaint too the District Manager when I found out she was saying horrible things about me too customers when I was not there. Yes, I have doXXXXented names, dates and phone numbers and comments made. It was then that I realized the D.M’s. are no different than the store managers. After this she just made trying to set me up worse. But I stayed because I loved the job and my customers. The final straw came when I did my last 9 hour shift with no bathroom. “Out of order” and i thought a plumber would be called but no, what was I thinking? 9 hours with no bathroom break was the final straw. They don’t care about their employees this is why the turnover rate is so high and they are always looking for help. It really is sad because they have/have had wonderful people working for them but they don’t value that.. Well think twice before you commit to employment with them because you will be discarded or forced to quit when it suits them and what do they care? Marathon Oil/Speedway LLC is just another giant multi-billion dollar corporate wh**e. As with any situation the only way things change is if people make them change by doing the simple thing and stand up and stop going to Speedway. Losing business is the only thing they understand.

Attention to Management/Respected Customers to the Speedway at 6498 Old Troy Pike, Huber Heights, OH 45424, Cashier’s name is KAYLE (name appeared on our receipt,Reg#2) We have been dedicated loyal customers to that store for years,& also I am a contractor for which my company did have repetitive business with, this employee is a EMBARRESSMANT to Speedway,& don’t even know how she got thru first interview, this cashier & especially being female her appearance is very unsanitary,dirty (hair is very oily & never been brushed)& nothin on face to cover her infected absess on nose that needed a bandage,also wearing dirty uniform where her pants are 3sizes to small because when she went to get cigarettes her shirt doesn’t cover her belly so you could see her belly fat/other things a man shouldnt be exposed to when entering a family store/gas station, she needs to wear her real &original/plus size uniform & I’m sorry but it doesn’t cost anything to be clean, a bar of soap, deodorant, shampoo & other toiletries are even donated by churches if you ask for assistance, but that’s not even the case. I believe with this person,also she purposely makes inappropriate comments to men & disrespects them but disrespects their wives,gf significant other in front of them & even with children being present& she does not know her limits & needs to quit fraternizing w/customers, I have brought my beautiful wife of 13yrs in there a few times & I admit my wife exercise & eats well & maintains/takes care herself she is 5’3 petite & has a bangin/athletic body that works hard for & yes she does get attention when she enters a room & I feel that this cashier Kayle is very Ensecure w/herself it’s obvious & instead of tryin to work/improve she takes it out on attractive women w/significant others, we feel sorry almost for how desperate & how she wants to be a wife/gf but w/the nasty way she talks is not professional & flirting w/men that are all taken & no one wants to claim somebody that is Down rude& disrespectful, she is also very loud/obnoxious that her manager or higher authority rolled his eyes & was so embarrassed by her actions, so Kayle needs to leave men that are married/girlfriend alone & quit talking to me as if you know me or any of my colleagues because I know have a 🏆trophy wife on my arm& she is mother of our only child(son) & I’m sorry but your not even in the same league nor would I even talk to you even if I was single, we all have standards nor would I ever be that desperate, you really do you need to have people skills if you’re going to work with the general public. I hope that speak to management to file a formal complaint. We don’t need to do business with trashy employees like her. if we do have to go into that store for an emergency please refrain from speaking to me or my wife or family thank you.

My wife worked at Speedway corporate for 18+ yrs. Jeff, Gretchen’s boss terminated her a week before X-Mass. falsely accusing her of falsifying time.NO PROOF! they have been putting so much work on her all year. They will be taking the credit for all of her hard work this year.. she’s the one that straightened the feul department out. getting all the accounts up to date in the fuel department. As a former GM for speedway in the Pittsburgh market I can say the following:

In my 20+ years of managing everything from C-Stores, Loss Prevention for international companies, sales management, ect… I have never been so intentionally set up for failure by my employer. The focus is always on labor… Granted, it is the single most expensive expense in any company, but to cut the labor models to their current level and expect the GM to work the needed hours beyond the required 50 to staff the store is just absurd. The avg work week in that case would be over 80 hours. I have personally logged over 90 hours on occasion in order to fill the gaps. Doing so only insured that the registers ran, coffee was made, or a supply order was completed. The extra time did nothing for presentation, stock, moral, basic cleaning, rest room appearance, ect….. Not only does the GM receive nothing pay wise for the extra time put in, but we also receive a minimum bonus MOST of the time which is far from what the OT would bring into our paychecks. In some cases I worked close to 300 hours a month and received a 200 bonus before tax and such…. Not worth the time, effort, stress…. I am glad I chose to move on… my lifestyle has improved, my health has improved as well as my relationship with my children as I can acutely see them more. I would never recommend working for Speedway. Sometimes, its just not worth the trouble for any employer.

It’s a very racist supervisor by the name of Ross Wendel that works for a Speedway in Sturgis Michigan the reason for me making this post is to let everyone know what type of man that runs the speedway. Just a little background information his daughter and I have a little girl together, just yesterday my girlfriend and I got into a verbal disagreement but we settled it before we got upset. Out of nowhere he texts my phone calling me a XXXXXXXX multiple times smh what sickens me is that my girlfriend moved out there for a temporary job only for 2 to 3 months but while she’s at work guess who’s watching my daughter the same man that talks about black people in that matter again his name is Ross Wendel people are entitled to their own opinion and that’s fine with me butt when you talk about my race you’re talking about your granddaughter aswell the same granddaughter that you watch while your daughter is at work and he’s also married to a man as well nothing against homosexuals just saying I accepted you being homosexual and didn’t have a problem with him being around my daughter until I see how you really feel about black people. I love all Races never had a problem with any race. He thinks nothing is going to happen because from his words he is “white privilege” I just know that Speedway is not a racist place because couple of my black friends had jobs there I just don’t like how he is representing your company thank you for taking the time to read this have a good day

Both the Speedways in Elizabethtown, Ky are very dirty. I was in there one day, waiting in line to pay for something. I happened to look up and the vents above my head in the ceiling was completely black with dirt and grime. Knowing that they serve food there I looked over at the little café and above it, the vents were just as dirty. They look like they have never been cleaned before. I went in the other speedway on the other side of town, a few days ago and I looked up at their events and that they are the same way very dirty! I will never eat any food they prepare!

Something need to be done about the head manager in the Anger NC store. Store #8232.His name is Will Flemming. He leaves young women by themselves to close the store.Anything can happen with one female having to close a store that time of night by herself. He says sexual comments to his female employees. He sleeps outside the store in his van with a drop cord plugged in at the ice machine for days at a time. One time he slept in his van for a week straight. If this is acceptability behavior for your store managers everyone needs to know. I think this is totally unacceptable.

I have just started working for Speedway in Perryopolis Pa. And it is a great place to work. We are always busy and the area it is in we know most of the customers. The management is very good and the people I work with is very nice and we work together. That is what you need to do so the work is goes well. I have worked for other companies and Speedway out beats them. True you need good management to have things run smooth.

I have worked at speedway for quiet awhile and the place is pure hell to work the managers are very unprofessional and have no care about how their employees the Gm at the store I was at was very rude and treated his workers like shi*t and on many occasions have said that he hate his jobs if he hates his job so much I feel like she should resign and find something else this is one of the worst jobs I have ever experienced in my life from rude managers to unruly customers I would not recommend anyone to ever work at this franchise.

You are 100% right. I’m a retired US Sailor, and worked for Speedway in Brick, NJ for about 2 months. I’m also a former Fuel Manager from several Wawa locations. I’m completely embarrassed to have accepted a paycheck from this company. The management, HR, up to corporate don’t give a crap about anything but Speedy Rewards. So many good employees are lost due to overwhelming frustration with management. I was cursed at, threatened and belittled by another pumper, in front of customers, because I put a cone in front of a pump with a bad card reader. He still works there, because he’s in the good ol Boys crew. Speedway obviously condones disgusting behavior in front of customers.

I work at 3761 in Indianapolis. Prime location right outside downtown. This weekend is Bricyard 400, soccer, concerts,just to name afew events. I worked 9 hours, left at 10.00pm, leaving 1 cashier in the store with at least 15 customers in line. The person scheduled at 10.00 was being borrowed from another store since we have so few employees. It is now midnight and she just called to tell me that person did not show up, the store manager isnt answering, and the shiftlead has to be there at 5am so she cant come.This store has such an opportunity to be a goldmine but not with 1 person in there. Where is our employee support?!

I am an loyal employee of 5 months at speedway in Woonsocket Rhode Island. We had recently just switched General Managers about 3 weeks From David Alvares to Nabil (I dont know how to spell his last name). I would just want to say that the store I work at is a booth and Nabil does not know how to stat organized. He does not do payroll correctly. My coworker Laurie and I have not received our checks at all this week and we both have rent and bills to pay. But now since I haven’t received my check my phone will be getting shut off tomorrow Sunday July 24, 2016 and won’t have a way to contact my doctors office to make appointments or to call my job for anything and I won’t be able to do my laundry either. When David was the manager he was on top of everything always organized and was never late with the payroll I always had my check every Thursday but now it is Saturday July 23, 2016 and I don’t have my pay check and my rent is do every Friday and I couldn’t even pay it. My manager Nabil said that there is nothing he can do about this that it’s not his fault. I don’t know what else to do. Nabil is constantly an hour late for work. He is very rude to the costumers and all the employees he is very slow, he takes almost 5 minutes to cash 1 person.

454 Western Blvd Jacksonville, NC 28546 across from Hooters! One of the worst Speedway gas stations here in Jacksonville. Poor management, April the new GM there is so rude and disrespectful. My everyday gas station for the past few years. Walked in for my one last visit the other day with my husband; the head manager April was yelling across store at the younger young man for whatever reason behind the register. The young man was terrifeld behind the counter. He was asking her what’s the problem and she continued to yell so loud. Customers stopped and starred in shocked. And she yelled sorry! Once we had got to the register the young man looked so shocked. He barely could greet us. I asked if he was okay, he replied I’m so tired of getting treated this way. But was professional about it and continued on cashing us out and apologized for the manager behavior. The store has been in bad shaped for awhile now.. Manager after manager there. The other day the same manager April I read on her name tag as she flew by me in the store; was cursing at the same guy behind the register, calling him boy and that people are going to run her crazy. I feel like this company could be so much better if they placed the right people for the job. We all are human, no one should be talking to their own employees the way they’re just because they’re above others in the company. Because while she sits at that computer I think she can be helping us customers checkout instead of being awfully rude to us and her employees. I will be calling corporate again! It’s not ok for her behavior. I shouldn’t have to go to another store when this one is right next to my home.

I have been a loyal customer for years. And for years I always grab a 20oz chip of Decaf in the evening.a lot of coffee drinkers do this. Only because its late and to drink caffeine will keep me up at night, so I always grab decaf. Now I’ve been inconvenienced at a convince store. Because someone in corporate thought doing away with the evening decaf was a brilliant idea. Always thought customer service was priority. Guess I was wrong its about some paper pusher who thinks he’s got grand plans of saving the company some money. Why don’t you start letting each and every store figure out what sells and what doesn’t. I used to work at a speedway that used and still uses plan charts. And I can tell you the sandwiches you wanted put out was not enough. Guess what everyday workers came in and cleaned us out. So the lil we made should have been doubled probably tripled. So let the store managers figure it out. They know more about what sells in THEIR stores. Because its definitely not the high paid paper pusher!

I have been an employee of speedway for almost 5 years. I started in michigan and have since transferred to another state. I am part of the management team. I have read all these comments. On behalf of the stores that do care I apologize. Customer satisfaction is always a priority, those who do not follow company policy should be held accountable. I have always made it a point to know my customers names and what they are there for. Those who say without customers we wouldn’t have a job are absolutely correct. Personally I do my best to make sure our customers leave happy and return.

I always go to speedway even if it’s cash in my bottles well i just went to speedway about five minutes ago and i know for a fact that they take them intil ten pm well i just got denied they told me they cant cash my bottles right now becouse of the Window was is close mind you it’s a bullet proof glass in the inside of the store and other time that i go they always cash them they got two new young girls working there and they just look at me all CRAZY and one was on the pbone talking and i know for a fact that tbey are not allude to be on there cell phone if its not the store phone if some calls i know this because my daughter use to work there so why are lieing and being lazy they was rude to me and think that they need more management in there and they to grow up and stop hiring these young rude disrespecting girls i am a faithful customer at the speedway in grand rapids on division ave next to the doller General store corporate needs to do some thing about this asap thats not fare

Location Pendleton Pike & 465, Indpls.In, go in store at 930 pm no coffee…7 pots of water….I pot of old coffee……get my cup of coffee….I told the girl at register the store was the dirtiest speedway i had evet been in….floor and everything was sticky dirty..Mechell, told me if I didn’t like it to leave and not come back…I told her it was obvious she didn’t care….and she just kept telling me to leave…every speedway in Indianapolis is the same way now….everybody I know went to speedway for coffee….now we dont….you can never get it anymore…unless I want to make it myself..the stations hire the worst people…they get hired and they stand around talking about their personal crap, or complaining they don’t make enough money. about more money when they don’t do a damn thing…customer service no longer exist at speedway gas station….I am very dissapointed in the quality of service, cleanliness, and customer service….you bought a bunch of stores, but forgot they need managed…..looks like I will be finding another gas station to use….it is getting worse by the minute…way to go speedway…

I drove to the store to ask my question. No one available to answer my question. Poor clerk had no idea. So here’s the thing. I bought 5. I used the code once and then lost the receipt with the code on it. What can I do or do I just have to deal with having a dirty car? Can I get the code I bought or is there another way? Please help

We were finishing up a band performance and treating our 5 children to a milk and snacks.

An Employee behind the counter, not our cashier mind you, was very rude and speaking poorly in front of and to other customers about our transaction with the manager in charge this evening.

She must not have liked my non responsive behavior and non reactive behavior to her rude out bust.

As we left the facility the woman was flailing her arms and flipped me off through the window.

I chose to walk back in ask to speak to the manager or get the managers phone number.

The manager in charge was the woman who served us and I asked to speak to her in private, she stepped outside with me to talk and she was very pleasant.

As we spoke the rude employee inside was still being mouthy and standing in the window video taping my van, my vans licence plate, my five children and spouse sitting in the van.

Unacceptable customer service. Especially in our neighborhood. Our children did not need to be exposed to her hostile behavior.

I would not keep that Employee on the payroll.

If I did not know better I would have thought I was in a Low Income convenient store.

Around 6 – 6:30 pm. I experienced the rudest, nastiness manager or assistant manager, would not help the guy running the register with my coupon. She didn’t help. And told me she’s wasn’t going to even let me use it. It was a coupon for Mark Ten XL E CIG. Still in date. I told her after she started her nasty tone. That she was hateful. And that management will be notified. She then came out the door. I’m now about to get in my car. She then says. That she’ll do want she wants. Cause she can. A man walked between her and I to go in the store. She says. Something like maybe hi to him. Door closes, and then she was like no take my broke white coupon a** off the property. Why,, she said. That speedway corp, won’t give a damn. She is black, big, and has a nasty vocabulary towards me or whites and myself. Iv never been so embarrassed, harrassed, cursed at by no employee of any speed way. Something should happen to her. I’m pretty sure and safe to say I’m probably not the only one she has been rude and racially ugly to. Please do something. I’m 38 and a good person. This store is the closest speedway to where I live . That store is 5339 Dixie hwy, louisville Kentucky 502 447 8447.

I won’t be back there, and till something is done. 2 companies and the building I live in holds 16 apt units. That’s about 28 people. There behind me about what happened. These people are white, black, mixed etc thank you

My issue is that I have a friend that works for speedway under the manager. She’s always there everyday , sometimes working double shifts ,going home sleeping couple hours and going back to work. Now she is sick with pneumonia and the Doctor wrote her off work-two days and there telling her she has to come in. Why is that ? She can’t even talk without coughing up a (lung) . The supervisor needs to treat people they way she wants to be treated . Sorry but I’m concerned about my friend.

I live in fayetteville, n.c my concern is with one employee being left in a store does your company have any idea how dangerous this is. People’s lives are more important than money. The manager and assistant manager never seen to work nights or weekends. I have gone to this store and it could be male or female left alone. Stores are being robbed and sometimes employees are killed. Other should at least be two employees at all times. And if someone. Calls out then managed are to work that s schedule, that’s what their paid for. I have a friend who works for abc 11and will ask her to investigate this practice, not just with your company but all. Cause this is a sad situation. Your district manager needs to do something about this and soon.

The 12th of april i visited your speedy cafe on rt 30 in plainfield i tried one of your toasted chicken subs and 1/2 way into my sandwick i bit into a piece of chicken with a sharp bone in it. It actually cut my mouth. I did take pictures of it if you would like those. I was very disapointed considering the speedy cafe was becoming my fav lil place to eat and grab some quick food. On April 1st one of your new DM’s in training went and thawed frozen hotdogs in hot water the backroom sink. Left them there for over three hours. This was against the old Wilco rules. Is against SCDHEC rules. Did something change. Did take a photo and sent it to Alan. I cannot say anything to the new boss in training as the last time I said anything I got into trouble. If there was a surprise inspection the company would have been cited. If the hotdogs went bad someone would get sick.

I had the same problem with cars when you use the same vendor for so long and switch something is not compatible it could be the other way, so I just stick to the same vendor, But I have never had any issue with speed way, I have had issue when I try another vendor.

It is not an employees fault if a customer doesn’t bring the speedy card in with them. so why should an employee get ” written up” ? all an employee can do is ask customers for their card.

This is a Better Business Bureau complaint. Take careful notes for future references in case something happens to your employment in case you need to bring this up with state officials when applying for unemployment. Names, times and dates are always needed when submitting such a claim.
The issuance of the reward cards to customers means that their names and addresses are placed on a junk mailing list, Some people would rather pay for that free coffee than to have unwanted solicitations in the email and snail mail. The latest mailing is for a credit card, Whoopee!

I visited speedway in Clarksville tn store #7172 320 providence that place is the so bad but great gas prices me and my family go in all the time this lady rings me up everytime and I remember her name ms.Anique sometimes i call her nique this particular night i walk in I speak and i walk around i hear her and see her walking back and fourth from the front and to the back talking about doing something to somebody and when i heard it i walked up so i can pay for my items i asked how is her night going she tells me not good because one of these people here going to make me hurt them so i got my items and walked out because you should never say or do things like that around your customers its plenty of days i went in the store and she is doing the same thing and the managers refuse to say anything to her I stopped going to the store because of that lack of respect and discipline in that store the employees say what they want and do what they want some of their attitudes are the worst especially on retail side it’s not all of them it’s some of them sometimes you might get attitude from the café side every so often i think if they don’t replace her and many other they want have many customers

visited the speedway on the corner of 347 and 111 in Hauppauge ny at 625pm. While i was there i used my rewards card and payed with $40 cash for regular . At the pump is said 1.88 for regular and 2.38 for premium. When i went out to the pump to fill up the pump display said 2.38 on the regular pump i went inside to get this corrected and the lady behind the counter said to just pump it is the right price. So i went back out to pump agian lifted handle and it still said 2.38 on the display i agian went inside to have this corrected And she gave me an attitude say its “1.88 and to just pump my gas” i payed cash and asked for regular why is it 2.38′? I told the counter lady if she wouldn’t fix it i want my money back. She said theres nothing wrong but if you want it back ok. I told her this very same thing had happened to me at 2 other speedways in r he pastmonth and they begrudgingly fix it both other times. I frankly have had it with speedway and dont see myself using your company agian unless you take some action

I wanted to make a statement about how rude your employees are at the speedway on Lee’s town road in Lexington kentucky! Not all of the employees are rude. The ones that are rude are the management team! Do any of you realize with out your customers non of you would have a job? Your management team over at that store stands and smoke cigarettes outside while the cashiers are trying to cook, clean, wait on customers, make sure the coffee is made and God knows what else. And the tea is horrid at all of the speedway in this city do they never wash the insides of the containers? My family and I have almost had all we can deal with at your store on Lee’s town road and one more incident we will be withdrawing from spending anymore of our money in any of the Speedway. Stores. There is another gas station right down the road from there that appreciates their customers. Your manager in there is the worse one. She acts as if she better than anyone. If things aren’t done about your stores here in lexington I must say I believe that you will loose alot of your customers. Because I will be posting this on social media to let everyone know not to go into that particular gad station anymore. That one in particular has the worse managers. There was a good one in there around 6 months ago. Your D.M must have decides she was to good at her job and put her somewhere she wouldn’t strive or fired her. The way I see things work is you give the lazy ones the rewards and job in management. That’s all you have are lazy managers. I think I’ve said enough. You start having drops in sales perhaps you will second guess your management team.

i was in speedway on Madison Ave Huntington WV this afternoon i checked out at 4:44:16 on register 1 my transaction number is 24336005. i got a doughnut and a 22 oz. mountain dew freeze drink and needed to transfer my old speedy car points to my new card. I was at the terminal and put my items on the counter got in my purse on the floor by my feet and got my wallet out the manager Melissa came over and started cussing me saying that i had stolen i told her that i hadn’t and emptied out my purse to prove to her that i had nothing from there in it. She looked in it and said i don’t sere anything from the store in there. She didn’t even apoliozed for accusing me or embarassing me in front of everyone in the store that was staring at me. This is not the first time she has been so rude to me and i have called and talked to the other managers concerning her and nothing has been done about her being so rude or accusing me of this.. I would think your employees should atleast try to be nice to your customers and that she should of handled the situation differantly and tHAT SHE SHOULD NOT OF BEEN CUSSING ME LIKE THAT….. This is the first time i have been in that speedway in about 3 month because of her an d only went in cause i love the doughnuts and the mt dew freeze drinks and thought i would see if your employees were politer than last time. But I will never go back into that speedway again or any others and will make sure that everyone that i know learns about this incident and how rude she is towards the customers. i really hope that this is taken care of and that someone talks to her and that she gets some kind of punishment for the way she treated me today. it was really uncalled for and really embarrassing I was crying because of her noone should ever be treated or cussed at like that!!!!!!!! a really unhappy customer ROXANNE DULING

I went to the 30th Lafayette last weekend and the young man waited on me ,I put my number in to get credit tourney cigarettes and the young man scanned his own speedway card in so I didn’t get my credit. .I told them he was wrong. ..the lady offered me the card they scanned I said no thanks.

Me and my new born son came to my work one day after taking my wife to work to get gas and food…….I was talking to the employees I work with and we had a new superviser…….. They all surrounded him say how cute and all when the superviser asked his name.II told her his name and she looked at me and said why did u give your son a black persons name……I don’t know if that’s what kind of superviser u want in yalls store but I will not take racial slang and discrimination towards my son……I would like something done about it please……would hate to take this to court

I week ago i was at the speedway in cedar springs michigan with my 16 yr old son. The cashier rudely refused to sell me alcohol because me son didn’t have an id. I told the cashier this is my son he’s 16 it’s for me not him and she still refused to sell to me so i took my business elsewhere and i will never shop there again. If someone is going to buy for a minor they’re not going to say that’s my son and he’s 16! I’m very disturbed by the fact i was refused a sale because my son was with me.

I had a incident at one of the gas stations in Binghamton New York on August 10th it is now September 14th . Took almost 3 weeks for a customer service representative to contact me and say that my email has been forwarded on to the correct people to review it. I called customer service and they say that the store has not forwarded any of the correct paperwork I have personally talk to the people at the store they said they sent it two days after the incident. Poor customer service in contacting your customers that have incidence at your stores. A tree branch fell on my vehicle causing water to go inside but there seems to be no cause for concern. I will be going to a different gas station from now on out boycott Speedway

Went to store in Brunswick Ohio and the new manager is a total XXXXXX. Her name was Jen, short with glasses. Loves to roll her eyes at customers. Will never shop speedway again. Have cut up my credit cards and rewards card. Will now be going to SHEETZ!!! This woman does not deserve to be where she is at! Rudest person I have met to date!!!

About a month ago I lost a cell phone at one of your elizabethtown ky locations. After calling multiple times and even going to the store asking about my missing phone, they kept telling me they didn’t have the phone. Well I finally gave in and bought a new phone…and a MONTH later my boyfriend gets a call from an employee saying they have my phone. It’s been in the back this ENTIRE time and had eventually lost charge. The employee said the management told him not to charge it and just leave it in the back. He eventually charged it, went through my pictures and contacts and realized who we were. (Because we come into that location almost everyday) I’m extremely angry over this entire situation. Not only were the employees too lazy to go look for a phone, or even ask management about the phone, they couldn’t even try to contact my mother or father (whose numbers are listed in the phone as mom/dad) for an entire month. The phone kept charge for over a day after I lost it, I know this because I also called it multiple times. The phone was on loud so there is no reason for no one to answer the phone. There are 40 missed called on the phone from the days it kept charge after I lost it. I need someone to contact me about this and tell me what is going to be done. I’m extremely upset, especially after spending $250 on a new phone.

Hi I visit speedway on a daily basis for gas, pop etc but once a week I buy money orders if I don’t get them on Sunday night I buy them before I go to work. I was told that they won’t do money orders till after 6am so I go after 6 and the cashier says there not doing money orders so I go out to my car and wait a few minutes till 6:20 go back in and she says she will sell them whenever her manager wants her to.they always say 6am here it is 6 30 am and no money orders so basically they start selling them when ever they want to is that how speedway does business 3 different times I was late. So I guess I will have to go kroger on Sunday .I thought I would let you know before you lose anyone customers.

Hi I have a concern on 5/11/15 around 2:30 I enter your store location 8101 E21st. As I proceeded the cashier was with a customer there was another cashier an a manager or lead at another register. I politely ask are you open, He said yes took my money an walked to the other cashier who was with a customer. said she’s open down here.
I felt as if I was discriminated against. had he said this register is closed ok.
I walked to the other register at that moment I felt as if my money was ‘nt good enough for
him to complete my gas purchase. As a young black American customer I felt ashamed upset, disrespected. I spend money at this location least twice a week yearly that is a nice
piece of change. hope to hear feed back on email soon.

hello i like to keep my name out of this. but the speedway in south shore kentucky has a guy named travis that works there not sure what his name is but he is a smart mouth he is tall skinny black hair with glasses my sister worked there she ended up quiting because of him she said he was creepy made her feel uncomfortable and he watched her like crazy so i walked in there just to see what she was talking about and sure enough he saired at her butt when she walked away he bumped into her flirtingly and brushed her butt with stuff on perpose but tryed to play it off as a mistake he is a pervert i and my family and friends are long long time costemers there we spend a lot of money there and if you want to continue to have our business get him out or we will take our business else were i would hate to do so but we will in a second we get gas food drinks and so on there every day some times 2 to 3 times a day. so please take care of this asap i would hate to report this gas station to the athorities. im not trying to be mean but this needs to end now she is so upset about it she goes in some times when he sees her he has to touch her some how as a hug and so on she did not say any thing about this because she didnt want any one get into trouble me i want him in trouble with you guys this isnt right a women should be able to go to work with out this harassment she has children she has a new job right now but she wishes she could have kept that job it was close to her house she left ashland kentuckys speedway because one of the managers there tryed to sleep with her when she wouldnt he was mean to her this isnt right if he is still there by monday i will contact better business beuro she is a great girl very hard working and always on time and gave 100% always thank you for your time

Because for some of these allegations, someone would instinctively want to call the POLICE or other actual authority, not go to some google-search complaint website and make allegations to no one.

Tonight, at about 9:30 PM, I went into the Crittenden Dr. Speedway to buy a sandwich and donut before going to work. When I went to the counter to pay the clerk ignored me and served someone else first. When I commented on it, the clerk got rude and started talking nonsense. I had to ask several times what I owed before she finally gave me an amount. She quickly changed the amount to about $2 more. At that point I decided I needed to leave as quickly as possible, gave her a $5 and waited for my change of about $1. As I tried to take it from her, she moved her hand. I tried to grab the bill the bill, but her grip was so tight the bill tore. I figured any more time spent around her was going to make matters worse, so I left without my change.
Later, as I was finishing the sandwich, it tasted moldy so I spit it out into the bag it came in, then put the remainder of the sandwich in ther, too. The sandwich is called a Super Stacker 6″ Sub and the taste of it has cured me from ever buying another one there. The only reason I ate as much of this one as I did was sheer hunger.
A little while after eating that sandwich I began feeling slightly ill. Fortunately, it hasn’t worsened.
Now, let’s see how responsive Speedway management is in replying to this.

Today is October 15th, Speedway has access to my email address via this comment page, but has, to date, not replied to my comment about the service or condition of food at their Crittenden Blvd. store.
Everybody makes mistakes, no store is perfect, but the telling mark of management and leadership is how they handle news of their shortcomings. It appears that Speedway management is unconcerned, having made no reply within 6 days; not so much as a “we’ll get back to you after doing some investigation.”
Out of concern for others, the Jefferson County public health department should be notified.

The condition, supply of stock, appearance, timeless of service, cleanliness of store 9518 at the corner of Newburg Rd and Bishop Ln in Louisville KY has declined tremendously since the removal and replacement of management. The new manager of store 9518 is rarely there, on time or conscious of the fact that her store is loosing customers and the complaints being made to her associates and corporate. When store manager “Ken” was there the store was ALWAYS properly stocked, clean, there was adequate room for multiple customers to manuever in the bar area for drinks and food without clutter. Now, the merchandise has been rearranged and is crowded and messy with spills and sticky coffee, sugar food all over. Boxes and stock sitting in ailse ways that could cause an injury and she just ignores you when you address it. Please audit/visit/speak with this young lady so that no more customers are lost!!

I worked at speedway for 6 months. I am only been getting 4-8 hours for the past 2 months. I used to be getting 30-40 hours a week. Why the hell did my manager drop my hours so drastically. its ridiculous ever since they kept hiring excessive amount of employees. This is crazy to only give me 4 hours a week try pay my bills have to borrow money i have maxed my credit card because i cant pay my bills i will soon be in a place with no heat, water, gas or electric because i am only getting 4 hours a week $25 pay check for one week. i need more hours! I get 8 hours and the employees with only 3 months experience getting over 20 hours a week. I have done a lot for the store i have worked hard the whole time doing everything right at and now my manager is playing favoritism . I can not live on $25 a week. can you live on $25 a week?

Speedway is a big company and do not care about the employees who really work hard for their money. I still havent recieved my last paychek and the manager was so rude when I called, I was pissed. Now I guess I have to call coporate myself, or make a scene in the store as a unsatisified customer !!

I worked at speedway for about 8 months and hated every minute of it. I was put at the rawsonville location. Ypsilanti Michigan. Most of the employees are hopped on pills or smoke pot before they come to work. None of them like each other and we were constantly having meetings about to try and resolve it, nothing helped everyone continued talking smack behind everyone’s backs. I tried my hardest to avoid it because I was there to work not make friends.
They need to random drug test those empolyees. I would not feel safe knowing the person who is operating dangerous and leathel chemicals is all hopped up on pills and weed.
Let’s hope corporate sees this and does something about it.

I was costumer in your Salyersville kentucky store used the restroom located on the outside of your store as I entered the restroom were off as i reached for the switch located on my right as I entered my hand hit bare wires there was no cover on the light switch wires were hanging out of the wall I was shocked so hard the next thing I new I was getting up out of the floor it knocked me down the floor was wet with what appeared to be water from a toilet that was over flowed the shocked burn my fingers nearly to the bone when I got out of your restroom there was a whiteness a man who works in the common wealth attorneys office a cross the street he came over stated he had seen the sparks from a cross the street he ask if I was ok and took some pic’s as as went back in the store to inform the staff of what had happened they had me go into the back of the store as we were back there my chest started hurting my hand felt like it was on fire it was burned very badly but chest keep getting worse I was hurting in my chest I ask the workers of the store to call 911 but they told me that they had to wait for there supervisors to come back to the store from her home to the store I ask more than once for them to call for help when the supervisor got there I ask her to call 911 I told her my chest was hurting worse and worse she told me she would call but only after she could write out a report witch took some time I was hurting very bad and they keep help from getting to me when I really needed help. I have had an attorney for a little over an year but now I was forced to switch attorneys as of to day I have not done this but I will I soon I you all have no desire to resolve this I will continue to purse this matter In a court of law my medical expense and the bills I have incurred leaves me no outher choice but this if department wish to resolve this matter you can contact me at 1-606-205-XXXXX I do wish put this behind me and would like to get this resolved if this company fell the Same please contact my number provided before this matter goes any further.

I am very upset with the speedway in beaverdam Ohio. Me and my step daughter only buy our gas at that station, both our cars have broke down due to gasoline freeze up, which disables your car and leaves you stranded. Two women stranded due to the crappy gas we bought from this store. After you finally get the lines unfrozen then it messes up plugs and other things, cost me $400 dollars just to get my car fixed due to a simple decision of where to get gas, I make sure I tell everyone about this so they don’t buy gas from this store, I think its greedy of the station to do this, so fyi if during the Cold if they have multiple pumps out its due to them freezing up due to water in the gas, gas doesn’t freeze. So buys beware beaverdam Ohio puts water in the gas.

I want to shed light on an experience I had at the Speedway on Steubenville Pike, Pittsburgh, PA. I have a 2013 Honda CRV, less than 4000 miles on it. I used the Speedway carwash. 1 mile after leaving the carwash, I get a flat tire. Upon inspection, there was a 3 inch gash on the inside of the rear tire. This cars was never out of my sight on this day and I am %150 positive thus happened at the carwash. The device pushes your car by the tire through the wash and it damaged my tire! I filed a claim that was denied. I have tried to call several times to recrify this issue. I want my $150 tire replaced! I pass by this gas station 4 times a day if not more, and I commute oer 50 miles a day…. I was a frequent customer. Tammy, the claims specialist , was rude and condesending to me when I called to beg that her decision be overturned and that would she please look at my evidence. It was damaged at the carwash, so please pay for my damages!

Hello< I am writing to you concerning my recent hire with speedway. I first was very excited to be part of a growing company with job security and advancement for careers. However, it was the worst experience ever! The recruiter had done a fantastic job as far as interviewing me and so forth. My first day was Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Derr road speedway location. The manager, Karin sent me in the office to view videos for first day. My second day was on Monday, November 18, and I was put on register. An associate Ashley, was supposed to train me. I was left alone most of the time. I feel I didn't receive the proper training. then when trying to do my job as far as carding people for cigarettes she hurried me & just pushed the under 30 key. I asked about other duties or what to do and was told to stay at register. Then on the 3rd day, Tuesday the manager had a meeting with all employees present. I understood the meeting at first then it got very weird. After the maintenance man left with what he had to say, Karin started talking about inappropriate stuff such as drugs, baby powder and explicit sexual advances about I don't know what. I was very uncomfortable with this weird meeting and decided not to be a part of this store. Also there were comments on first day from Ashley about customers she hated because they think their better than us. what happened to the diversity? I really hope the new manager has a good experience. I was talked about and made known that I didn't fit in. As I was turning my shirt & badge in late tues night Nov. 19, there was an obliviously drunken white male who entered the store and the girl on duty sold him to tall beers. I know this as he tried talking to me before I left. I observed his car close to the building and he was alone… I hope he didn't wreck into anything. Thank you for your time in reading this and I hope it gets to the president. He should review any video cameras from tues. 11am til 12:30pm and the one at night. Inside store about 12:52am…

Hello buenos dias ante todo darle mis saludos al grupo de clientes que como yo asistimos de una manera diaria a la gas station speedway store 6414, quiero decirle que soy medico y en mis años de servicios nunca he visto una persona tan profesional y dedicada a su trabajo quisiera pedirle al grupo corporate que valore nuestra peticion y analice la idea de darle una opurtunidad mas de regresar a su puesto de trabajo, es molesto adaptarse a un buen trato y buen servicio y de repente te digan que esa persona fue despedida por motivos no grave que en realidad merezcan una opurtunidad, les pido analicen la posibilidad de regresar a dicha empleada ya que esto pone en riesgo la fidelidad de clientes como yo esten a dijusto plr ella no este en su puesto de trabajo y creenme que es muy bonito despertar y saber que el primer bueno dias te lo va a dar una persona como Mari Nenmon en una Gas station como las de ustedes con tanto prestigio y muy buen servicio.
