The Sonic at 1512 Hewitt Drive Waco Texas 76712 needs new management. Several years ago I said I would never return there due to the unbelievable service and the out and out stupidity of the workers. It’s so unreal. Examples. Our bill was $8.23, we gave the hop 10:23 . She looked at us and said what’s this? I said just give us $2 back we don’t want a bunch of change. The literally couldn’t understand it. Se had to go inside and talk to her manager. #2 last year I ordered a Butterfinger blast. They didn’t put the butterfinger in it. It was a cup of ice cream. They would not fix it, they would not make another one. they would not give my money back. # 3 today I ordered a #10. Crispy sandwich combo. I got no straw not ketsup and believe it or not no buns. Yes no bun. The hair on the top of the chicken patty was a nice touch but who the heck makes a sandwich with no bun????????????????? I got my money back and I will never ever return. You need to do something before someone gets sick there. I have a picture but I don’t have a place to submit one here

Was in the area of Harrison Crossing at 5817 Plank Rd 22407 Saturday night when I got in the drive thru to order your new waffle cone with oreos. Could not understand the many orange cones bordering the drive thru lane. Well, guess what? I finally found out. The girl on the speaker said they were all out of cones. I said then you need to take down the sign that was spiked in the ground in the drive thru lane. Then I exited. As I was driving down the shopping center lane to leave the shopping center some dudes hanging out in the parking lot began yelling. I had an orange cone caught under my truck. I got out and tried the driver’s side then the passenger side and it was jammed tightly. I even tried my truck in reverse–still jammed. One of the dudes was able to get under my truck and remove it. NO ONE HUNGRY SHOULD HAVE THIS HAPPEN. Sonic needs to watch inventory, order ahead of time so they don’t run out especially on weekends, so customers are not disappointed and go elsewhere. And certainly not have this happen. This is what managers are paid to do. Orange cones lining the drive thru lane mean others have tried to leave when they couldn’t get their order. Get those orange cones in the dumpster where they belong Stop messing with hungry customers like this. And get a manager there who won’t do this to their customers.

Your commercials are the worst I’ve ever seen. Thank goodness for being able to record shows and fast forward through your commercials.

My wife and I visited a Sonic for the first time on August 7, 2018. The address is 1724 Hempstead Tpke, East Meadow, NY 11554. We dined in the restaurant. We both ordered the combo #2. The burger works and tater tots were very delicious and the service was excellent. Only issue we had was that both items were luke warm when delivered to our table. I wanted to give my feedback however there wasn’t an ID number on my receipt that would allow me to do this. I would like to visit again but not until I am certain that the food will be piping hot when served at this or any Sonic location. I hope to receive a response so I can be a highly satisfied customer going forward. Thanks

I need some one to email me back to resolve a problem. No one from the corporate office will return my call or respond to my written complaint. The local office in Jackson, TN was no help. I purchased a sausage burrito and when I got home and was eating it, I didn’t notice that the bottom of the foil package was full of grease and it had been dripping on my shirt. I immediately threw the sandwich away and washed the shirt. The grease spots are still there. It was a shirt my son had given me as a gift from his college. I asked that it be replaced and the local office said I could have another burrito but no shirt. I don’t want another burrito. I want my shirt replaced. Certainly a major corporation like Sonic can afford to replace a shirt. If someone does not reach out to me, I have other avenues to pursue ( ie. better business bureau, Chamber of Commerce, TN State Attorney General Office). Thank you.

I went to the Sonic in the city I live in last weekend and ordered a chili dog and fries to go. I can drive there from my house in about 3 1/2 minutes. The chili dog was so bland it was worth throwing away, but I ate it because I was stopping somewhere on my way home just to grab something quick to take home to eat. Everything was hot when I got it home. I gave it a lot of thought about where I was going for food and I thought a foot long chili dog sounded good. They picked a bad spot to build this one. I think because it was across from Applebees and K-Mart. (now defunct). Also close to Arbys, McDonalds and the X-way. There are probably 30 other restaurants on this road along with a BIG mall. The section they are on has businesses slowly closing, but if the food was better, that would really matter. Also, they are kind of pricey. A good friend of mine told me that he and his wife checked into opening one several years ago, and he said Sonic told them that they had to have at least 1 mil., cash in the bank to be considered to open a franchise. He’s always been pretty honest with me. Should have picked a better spot and they need to revamp their recipes in a major way.

The new ads with the girls are TERRIBLE! The girls are NOT funny and they certainly are not the two guys. I hope this doesn’t mean you’re getting rid of the two guys. That would be the WORST marketing decision ever. The two guys are what put Sonic on the map. Get rid of the girls and bring back the two guys.

So you like the homo guys? The rest of us are sick and tired of the two guys schmoozing with each other and want girls in the Sonic commercials.

I would like to make you aware of your manager Barbara Hafendorfer at store number 1318 with her very rude and unprofessional behavior today During her job interview with my daughter. She apparently didn’t have all my daughter information correct when she call her in because when my daughter came in for her interview and told the hour she could work she told her to get out she couldn’t work there and then wadded up what ever information she had in her hand and throw in floor. If this is the kind of people your company has working for them in leadership position then I’m glad my daughter will not be a part of your company. I’m sorry to say that Barbara Hafendorfer is not management material. And now you know why this store # 1318 is always hiring.

After making my purchase, the receipt I got from Antlers Sonic Drive In, it asked
for Comments or Concerns.
Well here it is.
To whom it may concern,
On April 2 about 4:30 PM I ordered a Sonic 12″ CC Cny with Tots & a
Dr Pepper, the Cony Dog was good but the tots were cold and hard,
you could tell they have been sitting for a while. I didn’t have enough Soft drink
to finish my meal so I ordered a medium ice cream. When the car hop brought my
ice cream, I asked her, would she please refill my soft drink; and this time don’t fill it so full
of ice, so I can wash down the rest of my meal. She replyed by saying,” We do not give out refills”.
I asked her why? She was nice to say that she was instructed by the new manager not to.
I know if you pack a cup with a lot of ice, you don’t get a full cup of beverage, that was my case,
I didn’t have enough drink to wash my cold and hard tator Tots down.
I dont think with this new manager’s policy, I will be back to do business with this Sonic;
and I will tell my friends of the new, no refill policy at Antlers Sonic.

I visit Sonic located in Union City, Georgia. I ordered a large slush and mozzarella sticks. Instead of getting a large slush they brought out a medium slush. After drinking my slush half way I decided to pour it in my yeti cup and I noticed the bottom of my sonic cup with black stuff in the bottom of my cup. I called back to the location and the night manager Adam Burn told me. It was probably candy. I told him no it’s not candy. Adam Burn continued to tell me that “Well ma’am it’s nothing I can do about the crap in the bottom of your cup now so what do you want me to do at this point and hung up the phone. I been going to this sonic since moving to the Fairburn/Union City location and this is the worst experience I ever had. I am taking the content of the cup and have them looked at to see exactly what I consumed.

I’d like to thank Sonic for sticking it to the Working Man. I love Sonic, your food is delicious and no one can beat a large Coke from one of your stores. That being said the portions size of some of your menu items need to be Revisited. I ordered a large Coke and a small pickle o. The pickle o is $2.59 and consisted of 5 small fried pickle slices which roughly works out to $0.50 each slice. WOW, needless to say I won’t be ordering those anymore along with the cheddar bites you used to serve. I’ve never felt more robbed in my life. Thank you for your time.

So as a veteran myself I hope this is not factual.

So, I was just let go from my job because I ship out for boot-camp in January. This is frustrating because I gave my management 3 months advance notice, as well as stating in my paperwork before I was hired that I would only be working there temporarily because I knew I would be enlisting in the Navy. I was told this would not be a problem, yet here I am jobless with 3 more months of bills to pay. What kind of treatment is this for someone trying to serve his country? So, if any of y’all agree, let Jason Bailey know at the Sonic Drive-In in Hawkins, Texas. Thanks!

I wanted to express my dissatisfaction with the quality of your product after a visit to the Parma, Ohio location this evening. Specifically, I ordered a small milkshake and Sonic Blast – both of which were significantly under-filled (especially for the price, paying over $7.50 in total for the two small desserts). See the attached picture for evidence. This has been a trend over the past several visits at Sonic, where I walk-away unsatisfied with my experience and value for the money I’m paying. It’s unfortunately, because the quality of the product in terms of taste is good – but not at that price! Furthermore, when I went on your website to try and contact you – I’m prompted to search for a location by state / zip. Unfortunately, that functionality is not loading properly – so I was unable to provide feedback through that channel (another point of frustration and adding insult to injury). I write this feedback not be critical, but in hopes of creating awareness to remedy the situation (on both accounts) – as I’m slowly losing my faith / brand loyalty to Sonic.

My son and I were at your Sonic drive in which is located on avenue B in Yuma,Arizona. We were very dissatisfied with the service, The wrong burger was brought out. When the correct burger was brought to us, it lacked mustard, ketchup and mayonnaise. Very bland and the meat was overcooked. Very upset with both burgers. No napkins in the bag and we had to ask for salt twice for the tots. The experience was very unfavorable. We have eaten there quite often but will think about going there any time soon.

We are regulars at sonic in Bixby, Oklahoma. There 3 -4 times a day. Sunday at 3:35 we was on our way to work again and stopped off like we do 7 days a week. I order 4 drinks and we sit until 4 we are late for work people getting their orders of food and ice cream we still sit there one car hop. I have pushed the button again and no one answers lots of people inside like I said one carhop. No one answers the only carhop working her assistant off ready for a stroke almost falls. She looks at me sad and I back out and leave I spend over 200.00 a week. I am ready to not go back. I worked at sonic years ago it’s not that hard to wait on customers. I’m not happy.

This is about the store/drive thru at 1530 Grandview Dr, Bullhead City, Az . My mother and I stopped for a shake, we were in line for 28min before ordering, then they waved for us to go to the window, then we had to order, it was only 2 shakes, we were there in your Drive-thru for 43min. We saw many cars drive away and few went to drive in. When we finally drove away, there were 6 more cars getting the same experience. This isn’t the only time this has happened, every time I go there it’s the same. I’ve just finally had enough. Thank You

Around the end of June or 1st part of July, I placed my order at the drive thru for Sonic# 5876, gave the lady my debit card, she was gone a long time, came back & said it didn’t go through, she’d have to run it again, I immediately accessed my bank on my phone & there was the amount deducted, I showed her my phone, she said it didn’t go through & she couldn’t process my order without running it again, I refused, asked for my food & was told she couldn’t, she kept my receipt, I was so angry I drove off went to another Sonic# 1501 no problems. I contacted the manager (Daniel, I think) he apologized, gave me a guest card for 2 combo’s & said he would investigate & she would be fired. Never heard back from him, tried to use the card today at the same Sonic, was told he no longer works there & they couldn’t honor the card. Someone needs to make this right, I don’t go around paying for food I didn’t receive. The current manager could have made this right by giving me a card from her to make me a happy customer, but, she failed to do that, so, I will not be purchasing anything else from this location in the future & I will tell my friends to use the other store.

I am customer at the sonic in Portage MI on Romance road. I do not like how I was treated tonight while I was there not to mention that I was with somebody that is an employee there. We waited 30 plus min for our food and was denied service because one the managers there did not like the employee that I was with, they were not that busy there was people getting there food way before us and they got there after we did. We only ordered small amounts of food and 3 shakes and was told that it was going to be one price and when it was finally brought out it was a whole different price $8 dollars more then what we were told when we first ordered 30 min before. The employee that brought it out was very rude and went in and told the managers that we called her a name but we never did we had 2 managers come out and tell us that we need to leave not just leave but effin leave and when we said hold on and when we tried to say our side we got told to shut the F up. this is wrong on so many levels management at sonic is very rude and something needs to be done about it.

I am the mother of a minor child that works in your walker springs location in Knoxville TN. Store #5753. I wish to log a complain about the managers in that store. They are constantly calling my son to work, promising him other days off when they call him in on the ONLY day off that he has in the weeks schedule. They constantly have him work over and will not allow him to clock off for a break or let him clock out when the shift he is scheduled for is done. I feel that this is a labor violation and should be addressed. He is only a minor!!

I worked at the sonic store 1124 in houston texas and have watched the foul and inappropriate acts of the management . The general manager James Watson is married to the assistant manager Maria Watson who uses racial slurrs with crew members and has had manu crew members fired soley on the basis of her dislike of them which mainly has to do with race . Maria then chose to leave the store in the middle of a shift leaving the store unattended. Her absence resolved most of the issues the store began to run smoothly less drama better numbers on labor, traffic and a store built on teamwork. However she was allowed to return and the day she returns insists that she will be making the schedules without speaking with the general manager , however he allowed her to say this to the current manager making the schedule Shermaine Bradly . James watson allowed this and defended it by saying he didnt want to “make a scene” about her making the schedule which she uses to discriminate against the non hispanic employees. Since her return she has expressed her dislike of all the african american employees and yesterday has one of the best employees Elijah Pugh taken of the schedule for the rest of the week because she felt that “he was moving too slow” . The crew of 1124 needs the action taken by Human Resources .

The Sonic Drive In, located on Westwood Blvd here in Poplar Bluff, Mo has a unique way of Management, one in which I have never heard of. A year ago my son was working there and he kept complaining about the way his Manager dictated what day he could pick up his check, irregardless of the scheduled day for check disbursement (this included the other employees as well). Eventually my son left Sonic due to the management being unreliable and unwilling to correct mistakes made by management. On the surface I wondered if my son simply was tired of working there at 16 years of age and just wanted a change of jobs as most teens will do. Fast forward to this year, last month to be exact, and with the same Manager at Sonic in the same capacity, my SECOND son went to work there and obtained the same treatment! When my son called in the day after the posted payday he was told by the Manager “Do you know what time it is? I am on my f— lunch break”. I informed my son had it been me on the phone my response would have been “Sir, do you know what DAY this is? Payday was YESTERDAY and I still have not been paid”. Subsequently, I now have BOTH sons who will never work for Sonic again and to further complicate the matter, my son called in and gave his notice and literally within 2 minutes my niece (who also works at Sonic but wasn’t working that particular day) calls my son to inform him she would never help him with another job. Isn’t it interesting how she knew that quick that my son had quit!. My experience with watching how my son’s were managed by Sonic will probably go by the wayside without anything being done to correct the issue, but I assure you, as a former Manager of 13 years for a professional public tax office I am certain my son’s will become better at Management than the above mentioned Sonic currently employs.

My family and I recently visited Sonic which my husband was reluctant and now i see why. And this is after I had experienced bad service a month ago still trying to give them a chance. Well the first sign was some guy sitting outside and throwing up apparently drunk. My family and I watched as the staff did nothing actually turning their backs so that they could not see the person throwing up. Next comes our food in which my order was wrong. could not understand why because she read it back correctly. So i send it back only for it to be wrong a second time. So after the third time I simply said I’ll just take my money back for the things i ordered. My other family members had finished theirs. So I returned every thing that came with my combo. This girl comes back with money for just the burger!!!!!! THAT WAS IT!!!!!!!!!!! Kept my composer because I knew that I had someone that i could discuss this thing with at the Health Department and that is where I’m at on this matter……Store #4254 Taylor St Griffin Ga is the store

7/2/2017 – btw 7:30/8:45 am, Marianna, AR Sonic
Ordered 2 sweet tea – when we handed the car hop $20 for payment – see the following conversation:
Car Hop – I can’t take that I do not have change.
My Husband – No Change, how can that be?
Me – It is almost 8:00 in the morning, what time did you open?
Carhop – We open late because we did not have the change from the night deposit.
My Husband – Well Lady you will have to take these drinks back because this all the money I have in my pocket
Me – Take them back or give them to us. I have many of meals from this place.

The car hope take the drinks and dumps them in the trash. I would not have thought much about if she had taken the drinks back inside but right in front of us, just throws 2 large sweet teas in the trash, as if I do not have to serve you

I talked with the manager and of course what else can she say other than I am sorry and
admitted the car hop should have come inside and got change.

Well, whatever, I have the option of never going to another Sonic and giving Sonic Corporations my hard working money, it is customers that help create the cash flow to pay a salary.

Now explain this to me at 114 degrees I stopped at Sonic to get a drink for Jill and cup of ice for me as a Dialysis patient I can only do ice on a hot day. Usually I buy by the bag. 2-3 bags at a time it’s very expressive but having to control my intake this how I cool down and stay hydrated. On Craig Rd in North Vegas I was told the ice machine was out of service that I could not buy a cup. After telling them that I would pay the same price for a soda just hold the soda. I was told no. They really just don’t want my business no more. This was by far the dumbest set of employees I have come across.you couldn’t sell a soda cup of ice for the same price as a cup with soda. I’m a Dialysis patient if anyone knows some one ho is a patient like me understand how this works better for us. The manger was a moron. Maybe I should sue them, but to me it was just disrespectful, shame on Sonic’s I need to find somewhere else to get my ice n drinks. Good job I give them a f in customer service! Pass it on.

My complaining is about the Haskell Arkansas franchise. I’m so disgusted with this place, it’s very rare to get a correct order. I usually have to send back my fries because they’re cold, or they’ve been put back in the fryer for the second time and are cold. The very last food order I had was a footlong
Chili cheese coney and fries. AGAIN the fries were cold and tough, so I sent them back. By the time I got to the coney I realized I should have asked for my money back. The dog was shriveled and dry, and had clearly been in the steamer all day. I then asked to speak with the manager and told him about the many complaints I had. He came and asked me if I wanted another meal and blast. I said no to the meal because the first was so awful, but said yes to the blast. He told me he would reverse that purchase to my debit card, which never happened. He never even apologized for the inconvenience, or the awful meal or even said that he would speak with the responsible employees. I even showed him the shriveled hot dog. My husbands was the same way but he was hungry enough that he ate his and didn’t want to make a fuss!!! I’ve worked in the fast food industry as a manager of a small dairy bar, and I know a LOT about customer relations, and I NEVER EVER let a dissatisfied customer feel this way, and I would apologize and assure them that it would never happen again, because I know that just one unhappy customer could potentially destroy the business if allowed to leave without remedying the situation. Stupid me I kept going back giving them the benefit of the doubt. I also have yet to get a blast that has been done correctly. The bottom is plain ice cream, the middle gets mixed good, then the top is plain ice cream again. Sonic is not cheap, and we pay good money to get my orders wrong. If the manager allows this to keep happening, then he or she is the reason it keeps happening, by not teaching the staff the proper way to do things. I would really appreciate being contacted about this!!!

I am very disappointed in our Sonic in Chanute Ks. The issues have been going on for some time. I have called the 800 number listed on the window several times, and all I get is a recording and I end up leaving a message. Last night I ordered 3 blasts, waited at the window for 10 min. While waiting, there were 2 cars behind me that ended up pulling away and leaving. While I was waiting at the window, I was watching the employees inside. Most of them are high school or college age. They act like grade school children, laughing and carrying on. Not serious about their job and what they are there to do. By the time I was handed my 3 blasts the ice cream had started to melt and the cool whip on the top was very flat. It seems like our Sonic has a huge turnover. Used to be a place you could go grab lunch on your lunch hr., not anymore, takes too much time to get your order, eat and be back to work. Chanute does not have any other place in town to get ice cream, besides Walmart. I hope someone see’s my post and does look into it. Very frustrating !!

Yes I am a mother of a 17 year old kid who works for your Somerset Ky location and I am hearing from my child that she is not getting breaks and that kids that are there less time than she is gets there break before she does and that the manager Rick Collins doesn’t seem to care if these kids get there breaks at all. I normally let her deal with this but enough is enough this manager is needs to know his job better and know the child labor laws because I do and I don’t want this to keep happening to not only my child but others please fix this.

To Whom It May Concern:
I went to a Sonic in Franklin Park, NJ. I wanted to use my extra change to purchase food. I was told your system doesn’t split payments. This was store #6186. The manager stated either ” You pay it all or nothing “, because you can’t split payment types. She stated it sarcastically, and I asked for my change back, once she handed me the food. Then she proceeded to argue with me. I am the customer, and I don’t need to go to Sonic. This behavior was unacceptable and disappointing. I gave her my credit card and she proceeded to comment. This was at 11 :24 on 5/23/17. Do all your managers disrespectful and rude. I would like something to be done to resolve this matter. I haven’t heard via email no response on this matter.

So I went to sonic for happpy hour. I ordered a lemon lime water and was charged full price. I am still sitting at the location looking at the menu. Specifically saying “happy hour 2-4pm” its 3:17 “1/2 price drinks and slushes 99cent corn dogs”. So how is a lemon lime water not considered a drink????

I work for sonic. Water is not included in happy hour. Doesn’t make sense, but that’s how it is. Water doesn’t count.

Good morning,
I am a very displeased customer. Last night I went to one of the sonic drive ins in Knoxville Tn. I ordered the number 1 med combo meal with a cherry limeade drink. The meal was 5.99 on the menu so can you explain to me why I was charged 7.37 for my combo. This is the second time this has happened to me in the past few months. The last time I went to sonic it cost me and my daughter 24.00 to eat for two. When I questioned the manager he was very rude and told me if I wasn’t happy don’t come back. I haven’t been back since. I only went there last night cause it was the closest thing on my way to work. I really think you need to get better staff and stop charging people with sneaky hidden cost. I will not be returning to another sonic ever. The first two times were bad experiences there will not be a third for you to steal from my family.

After working all day I don’t need to put up with this crap…

I recently started working at the Sonic located in Hallettsville, Texas, I started on Monday, May 8th 2017. I requested off on for Saturday, May 13th 2017, because I had a family get-together. I informed the general manager, Laura Bunch, of this on Saturday, May 6th 2017, two days before I started training. On Sunday, May 7th 2017, I received a text message from Laura. She sent the schedule for the following week and I reminded her I could not work the following Saturday, she said she would switch me and another carhop, so I would work Sunday, May 14th 2017, instead of Saturday, the other carhop agreed. On Friday, May 12th 2017, the other carhop told me and Laura that she changed her mind, Laura told me to message her that she would have to work or find a replacement. Laura also informed me that if the other carhop did not come in for the Saturday shift or find a replacement, I would have to work the shift. On Saturday, May 13th 2017, I never recieved a phone call, or was informed that the other carhop did not come in for the shift, nor found a replacement. I was never told that I was needed to come in by any other employee on Saturday. My sister and I went through Sonic for a drink, on our way to a family get-together, Laura came up to my window, passenger side, yelled at me in front of many other customers, and threatened me with a write up because I did not come in for the shift. Every time I tried to speak to explain I did exactly what she told me and that I was never informed no one came in for the shift, she interrupted me and yelled she did not care to hear what I had to say. She never gave me an opportunity to speak. I still have text messages proving she told me that I work the 14th instead of the 13th. I also have messages from the carhop where she backed out at last second and where I told her what I was told to tell her and she did not respond. I do not believe Laura had any reason to write me up because I did what I was told and it was a matter of miscommunication by management and not my fault no one came in for the shift.

I was through the sonic in collinsville illinois last night and there was a black girl i read her name tag. Her name was maria .. She was handing my food out to me. She neglected to give me my drinks. Also neglected to give me My correct change and had a attitude problem. I was calm and had no attitude. I even apologized for being a inconvenience. She then threw my change at me like I was a homeless man on the streets. I felt very uncomfortable I will not be going to this location again until that girl is terminated for being so rude.

I ordered a banana split master blast I’ve had several in the past few weeks. There’s been several times the orders weren’t done right. So again last night my family and I decided we wanted shakes. My daughter and grand daughter picked them up. Mine was only strawberry with NO banana, it was STRAWBERRY and that was it. I called and complained and the co manager told me they would give me another one that was done right. Well tonight I got my FREE one and GUESS WHAT IT WAS NOT BANANA SPLIT WITH EXTRA CHOCOLATE LIKE I HAD ASKED FOR IT WAS AGAIN STRAWBERRY AND LITTLE CHOCOLATE CHIPS. i AGAIN COMPLAINED TO VERNOICA AND IT WAS AT THIS POINT SHE DECIDED TO TELL ME THAT THE WAY THEY MAKE THEM NOW IS ONLY STRAWBERRY AND CHOCOLATE CHIPS. SHE TOLD ME THAT WAS THE WAY THEY ARE MADE NOW. SHE COULD HAVE TOLD ME THAT LAST NIGHT SO I COULD HAVE HAD SOMETHING DIFFERENT. WE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OUR SONIC DRIVE INN’S HERE WITH GETTING ORDERS RIGHT. I’M ALMOST 70 YRS OLD I WORKED AT DRIVE IN’S HERE IN PLAINVIEW AND I MADE BANANA SPLITS THE RIGHT WAY. THIS BEING SAID WE WILL START GIVING OUR BUSINESS TO DAIRY QUEEN THEY KNOW HOW TO MAKE BANANA SPLITS THE RIGHT WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNOW THIS WILL PROBABLY GO IN THE TRASH BUT I HAVE WORKED IN FAST FOOD A LOT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND I DID FOUNTAIN AS WELL AS CAR HOP SO IT’S NOT JUST SOME OLD WOMAN THAT DIDN’T GET HER WAY.

Something needs to be done about the North Platte, Nebraska Sonic. They are always full of excuses. Today we went there during happy hour. We went at 3:55 and only ordered a Slush and an iced tea. They told me their slush machine was not working, so I switched to a Diet Dr Pepper. We used our debit card to pay. A pickup pulled up to us about five minutes later and had three seperate orders of food in each one. At about 4:15 the carhop came out and brought one of the orders to the pickup, the last one ordered by the way. Any way we asked the carhop if our order was lost or what. About five minutes later she came and brought us our drinks.
It is ridiculous to take almost a half hour to get two drinks. After we got home we called them and the manager had all sorts of excuses, saying two people didnt show up. They had two people taking orders and one of them could have helped out, but they said one couldnt go out to cars. Another excuse.
I was excited when I heard Sonic was coming here because I have been to many others and really liked them. This one has always been bad.
One of the employees said on facebook, that it wasnt their fault that the slush machine was broke, but corporates. Another excuse.
Nobody here in town has anything positive to say about Sonic.

Are y’all ever going to bring back y’alls pickle-o’s or fried pickles? I loved them and I crave them with y’alls ranch dip all the time. I’m craving them now! And every since they have been taken off the menu, they haven’t been ran as even a special. Please bring back the pickle-o’s. I’d eat them everyday!

To whom it may concern , I don’t like sending these kind of emails. First of all I love sonic , if I didn’t I wouldn’t give a hoot about the service. I use to go to the Sonic in Chickamuga , Ga. all the time then there shakes were like drinking a regular drink , they were not firm . So then I started traveling down to LaFayette , Ga. and they have the best in the area. Until this season. I went to Sonic in LaFayette , Ga. last last week and the lady on the drive thru could not get the 3 shakes correct , Lg. butter finger , Lg. chocolate peanut butter , Lg. peanut butter banana . Got to the window after ruffly a 10 minute wait to get to the window , then sat there every bit of 20 minutes for the 3 shakes , Nope never seen a manager , I asked if I needed to pay and pull up so that they may take care of other customers , after I watched 4-5 pull out of line and leave. the young lady charged me wrong for my shakes , she shorted Sonic $ 3.79 , I corrected her , ( I was a store manager and a Auditor for the company I worked for , for the last 19 years , I’m retired now. ) So we got that all straightened out. Finally got our shakes and we came home. Yes they were good as always , but to late to eat them all . Well then on 4/4/17 I pulled into the Sonic in LaFayette , Ga. at 9:28 p.m. , I was excited there was only 2 yes 2 cars ahead of me. The guy in front waited ruffly 5 minutes to place his order. Then he moved up , it was my turn I get to order , the little girl tells me to please wait. I did, finally I place the order , Lg. butter finger , Lg. chocolate peanut butter add carmel , and a medium chocolate add reeses . total $ 7.49 check number 736 , yes I keep this ticket. # 90 Alexis is the name on the ticket top left. I sat at the window for 28 minutes just to get 3 milk shakes , I sat there and watched them make my 3 shakes 5 minutes before handing them to me , the girl asked if the shakes she read off was correct , I told her I couldn’t remember what I ordered cause I waited 28 minutes for my shakes. The young lady stated oh , I’m not happy with my service the last 2 times I have been to the LaFayette , Ga. Sonic in the last week , Also I feel like yes a work place should be a fun place but when you are running 30 minutes behind on orders , you have to hustle , The man in front of me was parked in a slot to receive the rest of his order. This is a shame. I feel like some one or some thing needs to change. So now I believe I’ll have to travel 16 miles 1 way to enjoy a Sonic shake at night , It’s sad I have to do this when I live 4 miles to Chickamuga , Ga. store and 6 miles from the LaFayette , Ga,. store. I would like to see a improvement in both of these store PLEASE . Thank you and like I said I don’t like sending these kind of emails. Thanks again , MaryAnn Gobert ( 423) 443-XXXXX .

I recently worked at a Sonic Drive In (2020 S. Ridgewood Ave, Daytona Beach FL 32119). A few weeks ago, racial slurs were thrown at me by a customer and the manager on shift, Curtis, had disregarded the matter. I had not responded to the customer and told another carhop to take care of the customer. I had disregarded the slurs and proceeded to work the fountain instead of hopping orders. I was told by Curtis that I had handled the situation unprofessionally as I should’ve continued to hop orders to that same customer as it was job. I had displayed an attitude towards the situation as I was making shakes and was told by Curtis that I need to “deal with it” because I work at a fast food restaurant and I just need to “get over it”. I had completed my shift that night and had quit the next morning. I was asked to return as I was seen as a hard worker by the other managers.
Since I had returned, I have been treated unfairly. My tip money was taken from me if an order was messed up on numerous nights. I would go home with $2 or $3 after working 8 hours and since I was logged in as crew, and not carhop, I was told I shouldn’t even be getting tips so it didn’t matter. I’ve always worked carhop, however, when need be, I would also restock the kitchen, fountain, slush machines, etc, as well as clean, take out the trash, prepare food, take inventory, and have to do the jobs of other employees if they were slacking. I was contiously bombarded with tasks resulting in me going from the back of the store, to taking an order, to hopping orders, to going back to the freezer, on a constant basis. I was denied lunch breaks even when I was working 10 hour shifts.
When scheduled to close, the manager on duty, Josh, would always let everyone else leave earlier than scheduled to and leave 3 to 4 people to close with me. On top of that, whenever scheduled to close, I was never let out on time. There were nights where we’d close at 1am but Josh would keep me until 2:30am. Or there would be nights where we’d close at 12am, and I’d have to clock out and drop my money but I’d still have to stay til almost 2am to restock and clean because we didn’t have enough people on deck because Josh had let them go.
In addition to that, I was yelled at multiple times for not doing my job as a carhop but I was restocking food or cleaning at the time because other employees were taking lunch breaks or slacking off. I was constantly cleaning up after other employees’ slack and was being yelled at when an order wasn’t hopped out fast enough or if I had let the board ring an extra second because I couldn’t get to it fast enough.
At one point, I had to call in sick with pink eye. I was told to go to the doctor’s office or I’d be fired. At this time, it was 7pm and my doctor’s office had already closed. Though I did manage to obtain a doctor’s note, Josh had told me to not call in sick and be petty about something so minor because he gets sick too but he goes to work anyway.
Since I began working in at Sonic, I was watching other carhops and drive thru personnel walk home with more than $20 in tips every night and if an order got messed up, it was fixed. I would estimate how much I’d get in tips each night and should have been walking home with about $60 or more. Instead, my money was taken away from me because an order was messed up or because my coins were short.
In addition, I am a full time college student working on my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. I had told the hiring manager that I am taking 21 credit hours of courses and I work two other jobs so please schedule me as such. After giving them my schedule and being promised that they would work around my schedule, I was called in on my days off and I was scheduled to close every single time I had a shift. I had asked to leave early on Sunday nights since I started classes on Monday at 7am and would have to get up at 5am for military training. I was denied that request and was forced to stay til close and about an hour or two after closing to finish cleaning and restocking. One shift, Josh had three people left to close at 1am. He prohibited us from clocking out until the surfaces were so clean that he could see his reflection. He had searched for the slightest smudge and keep us longer. We were scheduled to clock out and leave at 1am but were not allowed to leave until almost 3am.
The other day, 15 people were scheduled for a shift from 5pm to 1:30am. When 7pm had rolled around, Josh had said that he needed to let go of some people because we were over crowded. He had let go of one girl who was there from 6pm to 7pm. And he began to ask for volunteers to leave . When I had asked to leave, he told me no because I had just clocked in, but I had told him I had asked to leave early because my fiance needed a ride back from work in Ormond Beach and I had clocked in at 5pm. He told me he’ll think about it and ended up keeping me until close without ever getting back to me. In addition, I was denied a break because I was the only carhop there because he had let go of all the other carhops that evening.
The treatment I have received while working at Sonic was horrendous. It was unfair, illegal, and disrespectful. I lost money while working there. I lost respect while working there. And I was treated like a slave instead of an employee. It was a disgrace to ever say I had worked for Sonic.

I just got home from buying drinks at a store. I went to SONIC on west second st. In Roswell New Mexico to get drinks . first of all they take forever to take your order and when they do you can’t understand them especially day manager. Had a little misunderstanding n i did get frustrated but not once did i tell him a bad word i told u thought he said the speaker was broken and he was saying the slush machine wasn’t working another story darn thing is always broken. Anyway i told him iwhat u thought he had said n he told me not to be so damn rude andvwent on to ask me what was the rest of my f-ing order yes he saud that exactly. Until he is gone i will tell everyone i know to go to a different one but stay away from that one on west second street. They’re a bunch of kids that don’t care about the customer. You nay need to send in a random drug tester also. Of course i told him f**k you. Im a paying customer n don’t deserve what u got today. I am very nice to the window person n thr one that takes my order but that skinny mexican manager that you can’t understand is very rude.

We had our windows down ordering food, when my daughter says “mom I smell a skunk” At that moment the smell hit me, and it was no skunk (maybe skunk weed) I look over and I see a heavy set man with another sonic employee smoking pot. When our waitress arrived with our food, I asked her who those people were standing 2 cars down from us, and she says oh thats my boss. Unbelievable!!!!

Pulled into stall and while waiting for an order we had a perfect view of a young black man combing his hair with a hair pick – not once, but three times. He was inside where the food is being prepared. I don’t believe he was working although he was in a Sonic uniform. When our food was delivered, he came out the door at the same time to go to his car. I rolled down my window and basically said “I hope you didn’t comb your hair over my food.” I was told to shut up. I have a problem with how disgusting combing hair is anywhere close to food preparation. And then (at nearly 65) to have such disrespect thrown at me has pushed me to the point of writing this complaint. Gloucester, Virginia Sonic Drive-In.

Scammed !! I made my order ( which they said they were out of tots, onion rings, and wings. ) and time to pay I put my debit card in the kiosk, after pushing credit button.
The screen showed I owed $17.47 then once it processed it showed I owed $0.00. When the lady brings my food out she asked for the$ 17.47 I owe. I tell her I paid with my card and she then tells me I didn’t. I showed her my receipt. Which had the $17.47 on it then it said change owed .53 cents. I didn’t think about it at this point. Then she says give me your card and I’ll go run it and bring you back your receipt. Well I got another receipt but this time it’s a very small one without the Sonic logo on it for the same price. If your not picking up on what happened here they ran my card the first time as cash back. And the second time either did it again or something. This is the second time this has happened at the sonic on Bellevue ave. Plaquemine La. I didn’t pick up on it the first time a while ago but today I remembered that occasion also. Oh, 2 minutes after I start eating my food a guy pulls up next to me and asks for tots with his order the lady said they’re out then changes right around and says yes we do. Before I backed out I asked that same guy if I heard that right about tots, he said yes. I’d like to hear from someone about this from you guys office. I was cheated and lied to for no reason. It also does no good to talk to the manager, because as soon as you walk off from them they make faces then turn around and laugh with the rest of your employees. If this is how your businesses are ran I may have to look elsewhere.

Thanks.

To who it may concern: the shake machine at 327 Clayton Road, Raton, New Mexico 87740 (575-524-8998) has been “broken” and non-operational for a few weeks. It is thought (and our thoughts could be wrong) that either the crew does not know or want to operate/clean the machine. Corporate needs to check the status of this issue as a big March 1st Shake sale is in two days. And as a positive note the crews at this store have always been exceptionally polite and delightful to deal with. Thank you, Shakeless in Raton.

I went thru drive thru. Only 2 cars in front. It was taking a long time. Worker came out with food for car in front & for me. I gave $10 for the $9.49 bill. THEN she asked if I wanted my change. I said Yes and then said I can’t believe you asked me that. She walked away screaming the store told her to ask. What a scam!! Such BS. She’s running a scam. Maybe the store should give food out for free to follow her con-artist ways. She came out with change for other car and said Have a nice day. Due to me calling her bluff she threw the change at me and walked away w/o even saying Thank you. What a jerk! It’ll be a sorry day as I have more stores to spend my money at than a “robber” Sonic store. Ugh.

Placed order @ local drive in. Get order, check shortly after driving away, only to realize order was not complete nor was a receipt for purchase attached to bag as it more often than not is. After inconveniently returning and a longer than I cared for wait, was given cold fries and a less than full order. Requested receipt upon return. Initial order was placed at 2:45. Return to get remainder of order and receipt was completed at 3:11. Cold fries. Fo not serve what you as an employee would not eat or want served to yourselves. A not so satisfied customer.

My wife and I love sonic coffee and tea. There was until 2010 or 2011 a Sonic across the street from my work on Pratt Ave. in Huntsville, Alabama. There was a young girl that worked by the name of Erika (don’t know her last name) that location closed and then by chance I started some time later going to the nearest one from our home and Erika is there and has been for years. All the Sonics in Huntsville have good drinks and service but the Sparkman Drive location is great all the staff right down to the main. man are very nice but Erika is the rockstar she is always bright and cheery and the orders are always correct. She should be your model employee. Being self employed I can appreciate a company person she always charges me for what I get even if it just a cup of ice or extra lemon so you should be very proud of this young lady. Rick

Three times over the last two weeks I’ve stopped at the Sonic in Longmont Colorado on my lunch break. All three times I’ve been unable to order at a car stall or on the patio and told to use the drive-thru. I’ve enjoyed Sonic for over forty years. My first job was a Sonic car hop in Oklahoma City when I was 15. Being able to enjoy Sonic in your car or on the patio is part of the experience. I don’t go to use the drive-thru. I could do that any where. I chose to go elsewhere each time. I could understand this happening once because no car hops were available. Three times is a systemic issue. I just wanted you to know that your image is being harmed as being a drive-in is what sets you apart.

Doesn’t matter what sonic I go to and ask for cherry in it I get the flavor but not the cherry. I am not paying extra for the flavor and not getting a cherry. If you charge extra for something put the cherry in the drink. I am no longer spending my money at sonic anymore. This happens all the time.

Dear Sirs: We have stopped by Sonic on Dorchester Road, Summerville, South Carolina. Last night we stopped and ordered 2 burgers and a shake with fries. The service was aweful, the staff was hanging out with people in a truck talking and the burgers were dry and not what that were. We enjoy Sonic but last night the burgers were just aweful and the service was bad.
I hope you could rectify that situation.

Hi folks: I’ve got all your your complains beat. I have lived in a seniors moble home park in Oly WA for 20+ yrs. April of this yr the Sonice corp. bought land behind me and 3 other nieghbors. Took out every tree to accomdate Starbuck’s & Sonic, There went shade, noise buffer, wind shield and privacy. I/we now live on a bluff subject to winds that blow my deck chairs over. Wind that blows the rain in on my covered deck. Talk about personal enviroment screwed!! Just last week I saw the drive-in order area is directly in back of me where my bedrooms are. Yes a puny wooden fence is being put up as we speak. Too bad corporate greed took over common sense. This drive-in is about 50-75′ from my house Very least corporate could plant row evergreen trees along fence line and no we had no notice of this construction because the jack a** that owns this park didn’t notify us. & yes I hate those dumba**es also 2 reasons for me not to patronize Sonic

I truly hate those two dip ?’S on your commercials. I and several of my friends have quit eating at Sonic due to the dumbass guys in the commercials. I actually either mute the volume or even change the channel just so I don’t have to see them. Please wake up and figure out a new way to advertise. Those commercials make Sonic look like a bunch of douchbags that have no clue.

Also they do the have what is listed on the sonic menu. I tried to order a pecan holiday blast and was told they don’t have it. I have made several attempts on face book voicing my opinion but nothing helps. Please light a fire under there axx. Thanks

I went through the drive through this morning in St. Charles, Missouri and ordered a Coney Foot Long Chili cheese hotdog and the girl informed me that it would take 10 minutes to cook the hotdog. I said WHAT? It takes 10 minutes to cook chicken, how can it take that long for a hotdog and she said that’s just how long it takes. Wow, they must not have very good cooking equipment if it takes 10 minutes. I’d like this explained to me better.

It is a pleasure to offer this comment in way of commendation for a particular Sonic employee’s action which reflects the highest in honesty. Last week, I visited Sonic Store #5634 in Apache. I made a small purchase of a drink at the Drive-thru window, which I paid for with one $20 bill and 50cents in change for my $1.48 purchase. I told the young lady not to worry about the 2 pennies, but became distracted by the ringing of my cell phone before I received my $19 in change. I left the window, and did not realize my mistake until almost 2 hours or more later! I went back to the Sonic, and spoke with the on duty manager. The young lady who waited on me, Eva Myers, had valiantly tried to catch me, hoping I would come back through and pickup my money. The manager was aware of what happened, and told me that Eva was upset and concerned. Eva had already left for the day when I returned. The manager contacted Eva, and my money was returned to me within another hour! In our world today, it is a joy to know that a young person would have the kind of ethics displayed by this young lady! She could easily have pocketed that $19 but she chose to do the honest thing, without hesitation. My sincerest thanks to her and I hope she receives proper commendation from your corporate headquarters.

I responded to an advertisement on Facebook, for four free Super SONIC Bacon Double Cheeseburgers. First, I had to answer several questions and once I did, I was told that I won these burgers but before I could claim them, I had to post Sonic advertisement on my Facebook wall, then send message to 15 of my Facebook friends, with this free offer attached to that message. After doing all this, I clicked the “submit” button on page that this Sonic offer was being made, only to get the message that I did not complete the requirements, i.e. that I did not send message to 15 friends. I did and I have a screenshot showing that I did. I also took a screenshot of this Sonic offer . I don’t know if this will be of help but here is the link that states that Sonic is providing this offer and how to get it:
If there was any way that I could attach my 2 screenshots, relating to this issue, I would, but this site does not accommodate photo attachments.
Respectfully submitted,

Went to sonic and found a mosquito in my drink. I ws done with my drink n was ready to chew on the ice opened my cup n there was the mosquito! Yuck!! I have the picture to prove it. The mosquito was frozen onto the ice. Normally I wouldn’t complain because I know we all tend to over look every once in a while. But I’m pregnant n I’m a little concerned because I’m feeling a little sick. Not sure if by the bug being in my cup or if the mosquito had some type of bacteria.

My husband and I were at the Humboldt, TN location on Sunday evening. My husband had a gold mouthpiece that I accidentally threw in the garbage, while we were eating at the location. I called back immediately, and spoke with a Jeffrey who I asked that he go and look for the mouthpiece. He stated he would send someone to go look for it. Jeffrey then came back to the phone and stated he located the mouthpiece. I asked him to put it in a bag and put my husband’s name on the bag and he would be there to collect it the following day. The following day came and the weather was incredibly bad, my husband was unable to get to sonic to attain his property. My husband went up there yesterday 6/28 and his property was nowhere to be found. I then spoke with a Logan today (6/29) who told me the mouthpiece was there on top of the safe on Monday and they are still in the process of looking for it. Logan stated that the mouthpiece should have never been brought in the building as it is not a “clean” item. Logan also stated how it will not be their responsibility if they do not find it. I am upset because I should have never been told that they would accommodate my requests if they were not gonna be held liable for a pretty expensive mouthpiece. I was told basically that you all excepted responsibility for it, then you all loose it again, then tell me you are not responsible, which is the biggest insult. They agreed to my request and now my husband’s property is still missing, probably stolen which shows an example of the integrity of some of the people that work at that location. I would have easily rescinded my initial request if I was informed that you all would not been able to accommodate my request. I would have my husband’s property. I am very upset and will no longer be going to that location.

Sonic,
I am complaining about your Sonic at 6101 N Martin Luther king Ave. in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. I was told by them that the drink I ordered for 0.99 costs $1.51. I can order that same drink at any other Sonic even headed into Texas for 0.99 during the hours of 6:00 til 10:00 with tax $1.07. I asked why there price was so high and different was told each store had their own prices. On the tv it says large drink for 0.99. So I don’t understand. I order a large grape limeade each time at this place and they will bring out a frozen limeade each time and says this is what THEY are offering. So I just drives off thinking they know what they are doing. Don’t want to argue that early in the morning.

I can’t speak for all Sonic locations but the one I’m currently at, owned by Ted Kergan, is RIDICULOUS! There’s is so much under the rug racist activity, for instance, the hiring manager who just quit wasn’t allowed to hire people with “black” names or if they talked “black”. IF a black person is hired, they’ll most likely be put in the kitchen. The managers and the workers that are really close with the GM meets in the bathroom to have “meetings” about other workers. The one guy that the GM messes around with can do whatever he wants..he doesn’t even call when he’ll be late, he just shows up when he wants with hangovers and everything. Meanwhile, a black guy just got fired about a week ago for calling out of work because he had to take care of his sick sister. When holidays roll around, it’s the black managers who have to work that day, like this past Memorial Day..as a matter of fact, one manager who hasn’t been there that long noticed the same thing, when she mentioned it with her co workers, one of the GM’s little minions went tell what she said and now she’s fired. Mind you, the girl was an exceptional worker, her only flaws were that she’s black and she speaks her mind, which isn’t allowed in our drive-in.

My general manager has been editing the amount of tips I make. When I first started keeping up with my clock out slips that say the amount of hrs and tips made for the shift etc., I noticed that my first paycheck was 60$ short. I confronted her about it and she kept trying to make me feel bad about not being made minimum wage in tips. I work at a small location where making minimum wage in tips is almost impossible. Anyhow, she paid me money from the drawer and kept reiterating that “the store is having to pay me”. Sorry I thought this was a business where you pay your employees fairly and LEGALLY! Very unprofessional gm, who after the fact has treated me terribly. Every little mistake is my fault and I am constantly being yelled at for random things. My paycheck is again short, and my gm is giving me the impression that I will be fired if she has to pay me more. Literally stating “I’m not going to pay extra to have a carhop”, could be directed towards me could not be since she didn’t say it directly to me, she was talking to another coworker in front of me. Also I stay inside closing fountain, which the manager is supposed to do, so I’m not able to carhop, therefore make tips. Shes very unprofessional, she blast 90s-00s hip hop and rap music while we’re open to where I cant even hear customer’s order and have to yell at people at drive thru for them to hear me. Honestly, cant wait to find a new job. My experience working for sonic has been unprofessional and just absolutely terrible. The other managers that work there have always been extremely kind to me. Also it is not just me who the gm is disrespectful towards. She has said things to my coworkers calling them “incompetent”. This is ridiculous and I will go to whatever lengths to get this problem addressed.

How long does it take for an employer to send your w2 from Houston to Dallas, should not take almost a month. I have called numerous of times to get it delivered to me in the mail. nothing, all i get is I will call you right back. OR we will let you know if we mail it or fax it? what type of business is that. VERY FRUSTRATING. I no longer stay in Houston, i have too much going on to go out of my to take an unnecessary turn around when its as easy as 123 to get it mailed to me. how do i go about getting my w2 from you without it being a hassle.

It does not take 2 weeks for a W2 to leave your office in OK to get to Texas! Someone is NOT doing their job! One day someone is going to take this up in court! Then what are you going to do? Last year my son, who worked for Sonic in Hutto, TX did NOT receive his W2 until Mid February!! This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

On Jan. 20, 2016, I purchased six .50cents corn dogs. They were all raw inside. You could squeeze the batter out of them. My grand babies tore off the bread and ate the winners. I spoke to a manager named Kaleb about the situation. He told me to bring them back and he would give me freshly cooked ones. Again to no avail I received more raw corn dogs. I phoned Sonic on Tunica Drive in Marksville, Louisiana with another complaint about those raw corn dogs. I spoke with a female who would not give me her name so I requested to speak to another manager. I then spoke with Kalevala who again wanted me to bring the corn dogs back for some more fresh ones. I will NEVER attempt to eat those corn dogs again. There is no reason for serving raw corn dogs to any one. Please see to it that they stop this practice.

A mentor of mine has worked at Sonic Northside Drive in Jackson MS for almost 3 years. I asked him how often they give raises. He said like every six months to a year. Yet in the whole time he has been there, he has cross trained and been very dependable but has only to see a quarter raise. I always eat there. Their food is always hot especially on night shift. Perhaps a little to hot. But regardless I don’t think that is fair. Are other less experienced workers getting paid more? Are big bosses only worried about their bonuses. I just thought I would ask that question since I used to manage at fast food? It’s okay though. He is about to put in his 2 weeks notice, But Sonic will lose a highly valuable employee.

Today store worker Dion accused my son of stealing. My son worked 12/26/15 and after his shift the on call manager Felimon counted down his register and gave my son $30 left over as his tips. My son then worked Sunday and he was off on Monday. Nothing was said to him about him being short. Now fast forward to today 12-29-15 where all of a sudden they claim he was not $30 but now $50 short! But on Saturday AND Sunday the manager counted his money both times and said nothing of the sort. Now 4 days later you have missing money so you claim he was short. It is saddening to know that Philimon and his other staff/mangers are that incompetant. The next time you accuse a minor of stealing make sure you have proof and all the facts since you Dion personally were not there. Also, telling a minor that he’s “not capable” of making those kind of tips in one day says a lot about you and your character or the lack of actually. If your manager made a mistake or took the money himself then make him own up to it and pay for it! My son is not the one that counts down the end of the shift money you guys are! So he has no reason not to believe you when you count him down and say here is your tips. Unfortunately, your claim days later does not sit right with me and sounds a little unbelievable. On another note not to mention it is very frustrating to have to wait 1-2 hours past his scheduled shift because they kept telling him he couldn’t go on time since they were just too busy. News flash, do better and hire others!

I contacted the corporate office and was sent a bad experience coupon. I took the coupon to the same location and they messed up my burger again the exact same way. Well i came in to work today and My co worker surprisingly handed me the same bad experience coupon that i took to this location and it has my name and address on it, she said Gionvanni whom is the manager gave it to them all balled up because they messed up their order. This is unacceptable. I don’t appreciate them giving this coupon back out to customers and it has my name and address on it. I am so thankful that this was given to somebody i know which was some kind of coincidence. Can you please address this and FYI that location is terrible .

Not sure where to start. My son was working at the sonic in quinlan tx on Dec. 19 2015 when he and other worker’s deside to drink on the job . now he’s only 17. My son mom pick him up around 11.30 . he was so XXXXX faceed he could not stand up. So my wife called the store to talk to the manager and she told us that no one know anything about him be drunk. Now are the big problem with that they had the Rum at sonic from around 5:45 pm t0 11.pm. So how can a manager that’s doing there job not see a 17 kid or other poeple acting different. They fired my son that’s fine but why is the other boys the had a few drinks not fired or the manager not fired is my question? My son personally seen a cook which was when he was being trained. Drop food on the floor and still cook and send it out to people. Watched a manager cook a cheeseburger with a XXXXroach on crawling on the table where food being prepared. I going to do everything I can to make sure that sonic gets closed down!!!!!! Or new owner and manager and staff. Thanks for your time . this sonic is very poorly run .hope that something gets done. .

Wrongly accused people of stealing. Also manangers in this store make them pay there own cash when the drawer is short money!I don’t think that this is legal and if it happens again I’m going to personally file a complaint to the MTPD and let them know what he has done. He make’s multiple females feel uncomfortable. Also asking for drugs/making comments about employees being not presentable for looking tired!!! Yes, I was an assistant manager here at the sonic in Ellisville, MS. I recently got let go/fired because I got accused of stealing money which I am dealing with all of that in court right now because I didn’t do it. The new general manager, Mrs. Debbie Young accused me of this matter. Besides this, when I was working there, just the abuse that went on with everything was outrageous and constant griping and complaining about everything. It is a new store that just got rebuilt and it is nice. Even after she fired me, I still had people contact me, stating how rude she still is and the abuse is still going on. Everybody wants her gone. As far as I’m concerned, it’s ridiculous that employees under her authority, have to be let go or accused of things, they didn’t even do. It used to be a very nice place to work but now since I’ve been let go from last month and the comments that have been made to me from other employees about her, seems to just not be good there anymore. Something needs to be done about this and taken care of soon. According to everybody, they want her out of there now. Thank you so much for reading this.

I recently quit Sonic on Boat Club RD in Ft Worth. I worked the morning shifts. The store manager was really great. She always worked with her employees. The night manager though, Jeff, was constantly making racial comments and sexually harassing the employees. Others just belittle and talk down to the employees.
During the night shift they wanted to cut labor, so night crew would take 1-2 hour breaks. During the day, we almost never were allowed to take a break until a couple days before the end of the month. Sonic is breaking Texas Labor Laws and it has been seen by the store owners, but they could care less.
We (the kitchen) were constantly being screamed at to cook things faster when they were dropped the second it came on screen. I’m sorry, I can’t make the chicken cook faster than it was. Then, we would get yelled at to bag the food while all of the car hops were standing around talking, and had nothing else to do. We had to bag while they talked and we still had a full screen.
Even though I would show up to work sick, running high fevers, during a miscarriage, and had even had to run the kitchen with little to no help when other employees wouldn’t show up or left; I was talked about very negatively by management when I suddenly lost my babysitter for the day and couldn’t work. I was called lazy, that I would never go anywhere, and that I was going to live off welfare- all of these things were said in front of the whole store. All the other employees.
Cindy and Kay are amazing to work for. I would probably go back and work my ass off just for them if it wasn’t for the other management there. It isn’t worth sticking around when your boss is calling you lazy after working in a kitchen with no AC, no breaks, and no complaints. They talked badly about their employees and they talked badly about their customers. So, great team work, Sonic! I guess it doesn’t matter as long as you’re making the money though.

I can’t even say that it’s the ppl in the store but the ppl were working for. I work in St Louis,Mo at the only city Sonics, crew is cool but they can be a lil lazy so I thought. Working there for 2yrs now I understand we work for some ppl that don’t gv a hoots about us,and that’s why ppl move the way they do. After seeing the way the other stores look and treated it crazy, but they under different owners that explain it to.We hv a lot of things broken that we need they won’t get,we be dying summer because the air doesn’t work properly ,but this a million $ store. The worst of it all they hv a very dedicated manager been working for Sonic 10yrs,they been having this man run the store (GM) been promising him his money since Jan 2015 and every time he ask about it they say we will be there to talk to you don’t see him. Dis man make 10.75,he was suppose to been on salary they just keep sending him off . They even rushed this man to get a car so they can gone and put him on paper as the Gm,yea right he got a Gm tag but in the computer still an Asst Management. I say take them to court and as long as you got that proof in your messages asking for your money all this time they gone have to back pay you for all this time you been running this store. They don’t do nothing for there employees, but the big bosses they have barbecues in the park liquor, softball and cigars. They don’t care and the sad part is they show it, it seem some of the company’s just don’t get when you act like you appreciate your workers they will perform we do a lot for 7.65 and hops don’t get raises. The store get nothing no pizza parties,no Christmas parties,no picnics no nothing. Here it is they play ppl on there money but do you know they made them keep this place open for hours and continue to serve ppl when the water was out yea nobody could wash there hand dishes or nothing they all about they money gross. Sometimes I hate to know how they really feel about an all black store.

I am a current employee working at one of your Sonic’s. There has been so many things going on at store 1269, that a lot of people are unaware of. There is this one manager you all know named Kamesha Adams. I know she has been there for a very long time. A lot of people think that she the queen of sonic, but that is far from the truth. So many think that she can do no wrong. Don’t get me wrong she knows
her stuff there, but she knows so much that she knows how to beat the system. Kamesha does a lot of flirting with male coworkers, & a few maintenance guys that come to the store to fix the things that break down. With some of the coworkers she has actually had intimate relations. Because of that so many people get their way. Plus she also plays favoritism with people as well. We have a lot of good hard working people, but Kamesha treats everybody different. Some she has good conversations, some she plays & goofs off with, & their is some she barely speaks to, or communicates with. Kamesha knows her way around sonic. There has been so many times that when she carhops, she doesn’t ring up the orders, she just hollers what she needs & takes out to the customers & keeps the money. I have seen it many times but what are you supposed to do? I mean if you try to talk to someone about all they would do is laugh in your face, & comes up the an excuses. She did it back when Deon was there & still doing it. Shes not as sneaky as she thinks she is. I see a lot. There are so many people that when they get ready to cash out, they come up short. 99% of the time its always on Kameshas shift. When we work with Katrina, Christy, or Caela when never have any problems. It also happens a lot when we work in drive threw. Working in drive you don’t make any tips. Maybe a dollar here & a dollar there. It doesn’t matter who works in drive, we come up short at the end. We know that there is something wrong with this picture, but what are we suppose to do? If we go to somebody else about it they wont believe us. She always tries to turn it around that its our fault, & clearly its not. She knows how to talk her way out of anything. Kamesha will do anything to make herself look good. When there something going on at the store, she does not bring a lot of people up to date, & things get rung up wrong or we sell things we don’t have. When you do that she is quick to correct you. Especially when there’s a lot of employees around. She will make you feel stupid & small. I am not the only person she does it to, its almost everybody. I can go on & on & on about Kamesha, but there is also Mr. Alexander. Gary is a nice guy, but his attitude & they way he talks to the employees is not very good. He has disrespected a few employees in front of other employees & customers. He also plays favoritism with the coworkers, we know its not right. So many people get away of not doing anything. He will ask some if they want to do something & if they say no, then he will go to the others & tell them they have too. I mean its not fair to make someone do if the others say no. Its their job they need & have to do it. Some employees are moving up in the company & now they are walking around with little attitudes like their better than others. Just remember you were just in the same position a week ago. They don’t have to act ugly. One day Gary said to one of the employees saying ” I wonder what are kids would look like with both our eye color” I mean really!! Your talking to a young lady that way especially when shes old enough to be your daughter. That girl did feel weird & uncomfortable about that remark. Shes going around saying that Gary is this great guy etcetera etcetera. This is the same person that talks so bad about him since day one & still does. She is only saying that so she can get her big raise. Some of the managers talk behind employees back, instead of talking to them face to face like grow ups do or how a manager should speak with an employee. I also notice that they are harassing a couple of people that used to work here on what they order. I don’t under stand why they are so worried about what these people have or don’t have. Gary has givin away so much food to people that it is ridiculous. If its one little bitty thing wrong, he says give it to them instead of just fixing it. Most of the customers know when its there fault because they forgot to say they didn’t want something or forgot to add something, he just says give it to them. Then they wonder why food cost is so high. This is just some of the things that are going on. Something should be done about, because they are loosing & lost a lot of great people. Some of our regular customers that found out that some of the employees are no longer here, they are not coming back. Some know how Gary & Kamesha are & they are not to happy on how they do some things & how our employees are being treated. Thank you for your time reading this. I would like to keep working here but its getting to the point that Im not sure how much of this crap I can take, or the others. There are also some others that want to come back, but they wont as long as Gary & Kamesha are there. There may nothing that can be done about that, but maybe something can change befor it gets any worse. Most employees are scared to speak up cause they are afraid of getting fired & most defiantly getting treated more like dirt.

You need to find out who your store franchise owner is, that is the people to complain to, sonic industries doesn’t do anything about the operations of a sonic unless they break sonic industries franchise agreement

I’m 17 years old and work at the Sonic in Binghamton, NY. One of the managers there (Justin Niles) makes it a point to be extremely mean to me. For the last month he has been harassing me, screaming at me, and attacking me personally (my weight/appearance). On 7/29/15 he was yelling at me for “not walking fast enough”, even though at the time I had triple the amount of scans than the other two car hops present. After he proceeded to call me fat, a slug, and told me to leave and go work at McDonalds, he slammed on the windows and banged on them until I turned back around. At the time, orders were being taken and the drive thru window was open, so costumers could hear him screaming. This is just one of the insidents that has occurred over the last month. I’ve addressed the issue to the other manager and nothing was done. Not only does Justin harass me, but he yells at other employes to do work while he sits on his phone. I have multiple photos of him just sitting there on his phone doing absolutely nothing. At 8 o clock when it gets extremely busy, he takes pictures of the order screens and post them to his social media as a joke. I feel this Sonic drive in needs to be re-evaluated and something needs to be done.

I seriously think Sonic on Stringtown Road , Grove City Ohio needs some serious help !!! On my way to work this morning I stopped by there to get some breakfast , as I’m pulling around two employees one I knew was the “GM” and the other man I don’t know , but the man had yelled “were not open yet” at 8:04 ? And as I rolled my window down a little more to ask why since it had been after 8am I smelled a strong scent of marijuana and as I was pulling away I saw the woman hand the man what looked to be a blunt or a joint and I think that is very unprofessional and disturbing ! And to my understanding you are not supposed to be high while at work or ever getting high while having a job. Unless it is for medical purpose , I will never visit that Sonic again and I think it needs some serious looking at .

Today I would like to tell you a true story. In Oct. of 2003 I became a manager of Sonic. I started as a grill cook. Within 2 years time in 2005 I was offered a partnership in the Aiken SC Location. I have been in the restaurant business since I was 16 and I am 41 now. The partnership was offered due to some very hard work and long hours put in by myself. As the manager in Aiken the store thrived sales grew over 30% and bottom line numbers were soaring to record highs. I was made a 10% partner of that location. So after a couple of years time of being a managing partner. The whiskey road location was settings all sorts of sales and dividends records. In 2005 Our store set a record of 222,000 in dividends and 1.3 million in sales up over 28%. Partners were thrilled and us in Aiken were now being noticed for our hard work. Also maintaining store of the year for 2 years running during that time. Next thing I know without warning the franchisee brought in a new partner. This partner was next to be in line to take over the franchise. Within 1 years time the new franchisee made a lot of changes. Not all were good. I challenge you to look at the numbers just 5 years later since he took over the franchise. Dividends are down. Sales are down and overall traffic to this location is getting dismal compared to what it use to be.

Point being he should have never taken over the Co-op. Look at the numbers and then tell me what you see. He has failed the Augusta Group. But, perhaps he is happy anyway considering his main focus for the last 2 years is a company his son and him started Shane’s Rib Shack. Seems if he cared as much about Sonic in Aiken as he does the Rib Shack perhaps Sonic would be where it should be. Numbers tell the story.

I was taught early in my Sonic career that if we take care of service and we do as we should be doing. Then we as a company in Sonic shall thrive. Well I ask again why isn’t the Augusta Market thriving? I would say take a good look at the new franchisee and what he has tried to do in the last 5 years. And you will have your answers.

Ive been in this business all my life. I have learned a lot during this time. Customer Service comes first. All else stops. In this case Greed was the main thing. Sad but True.

A Sonics is under construction where I live in Riverside, CA.. I’m quite hesitant about going there after reading a few of the long list of complaints. I visit Pawhuska, OK each year at Thanksgiving and have had great food and service at the Sonics there every time.
PS. There’s a McDonald’s there also…..I prefer Sonics! I’m elated that Sonics has finally
come to Riverside, CA.

After reading about a dozen of the comments from customers I realize that my complaint is a mirror image of most with long waits, cold food and very poor customer service. This is about the Baton Rouge O’Neal Lane location. But it seems so fruitless to bother defining the incident. With a common thread of employees who who don”t seem to care and do so with impunity I feel I’m wasting my time and will vote with my wallet for a different provider next time I want fast food. Too bad; Sonic has tasty food. The problem is getting it to the people who order it. Develop your managers and pay them an incentive when they produce repeated results of increased revenue from repeat customers. You’ve lost one here.

Stall#9, shift D, I had a ELC + O + M + ADD CHZ and MLT BRN. which they fixed it correctly and had it out in a short amount of time. But this is not my complaint. My complaint is when I got it my coney was cold I’m not saying warm I mean cold and what really pissed me off their were only 3 other cars in stalls. Now I’ve eaten here a lot in the past and always have had good service and I’m not usually one to complain but this ticked me off when all high school kids 3@ the most and only 3 cars yours truly Howard Robertson

I worked here for three days, if you guys want to make things right, you need to ACTUALLY train your employees all the way. You can’t just throw people under without explaining the jobs and the duties. Its really hard to work and get thinga done effeciently when as a team, most people aren’t experienced. This is honestly the WORST job experience i have ever had. The best thing to do is make sure people get one job right at a time. I worked at the sonic on 59 in stafford and i won’t be coming back .

I think that someone from the corporate office should visit the Clinton Ok sonic. They should go threw the drive thru on happy hour and order 2-4 drinks and see if they come out right. I have set in line for over 30 minutes at a time and never get the correct order. This all stems from one man that works in there and he is not clean. I have seen him pick at his face and then go and fill someone’s order. When called out on the drink mess up he laughs and blows it off as funny. It isn’t funny when this is day in and day out everyday. We are all on a schedule and want to support our local business but when this happens on every visit and it is this one person who is the problem it should be addressed. There is more than one complaint than mine for the facility but I will stand up and say it needs to be fixed. Please corporate have a visit and do onsite inspection.

Hi , I have a daughter that work for Sonic Drive in Cypress, TX on Barker Cypress. My daughter is a junior in high school and I know that for students in high school they are not suppose to work past 9 or 10 PM on school nights. Well you have these assistant manager that work in these places at night with these high school kids and they take advantage of them. My daughter was suppose to get off at 10:00 PM on 5/18/15 but the assistant manager by the name if Brittney would not let her go. I texted my daughter at 10:12pm to come out and the manager became angry and told her if she leave she would write her up. Well my daughter counted her money and let the manager know if you don’t clock me out I’m going to leave. So after we left about 15 minutes later Brittney called my daughter and told her that her register was short $7 and she was going to write her up. I had my daughter to call her back she would not answer the phone that she called from which was her cell so then we called the Sonic phone and she still would not answer. After no answer I called from my cell phone and she answered a business phone by saying yes. I asked whom I speaking with and she just said the manager I asked her name I was told to hold on and she called my daughter’s phone while she had me holding on the business phone in which she never came back to the line. I took my daughters phone and let her knew whom I was and that I would be calling her manager and the District office the next morning. I also let her know that I will be filing a claim with EEOC of working these kids passed their scheduled time and for a false statement on a write up for revenge. You have very unprofessional mangers running your store’s and you should think about having them go through some management training before you are faced with a lawsuit.

I love Sonic. Almost everything they have is delicious, but you can tell when the regular cook is not there. I love the Super Sonic breakfast burrito, but when the regular cook is not there, they give me this tiny burrito like you can get at McDonalds for a dollar. If I wanted that I would go to McDonalds. You expect more when you pay $4 for a burrito. This Sonic is in Birmingham, Al. in the Roebuck area.

There is ALWAYS something broke or not working not to mention most times they are very slow. Also, they can’t seem to get your order correct. There has to be some way this can be corrected. We were so excited when it opened but I can honestly say most of us here are ver disappointed now. I look forward to your reply. Thanks Darless Head

This is our second time complaining about the same thing at the same location, in Lexington South Carolina (address is 1857 south lake drive 29073). We called at 10:37pm on Sunday April 5th 2015 and no one answered so we drove down the street and pulled in and saw 3 cars were in the stalls ordering and one person in the drive thru window and when we got up to the ordering box they said sorry we are closed at 10:52pm and we asked what time do you close and they didn’t answer for a minute then answered back with 11pm very rudely! They should of helped us, being a former fast food restaurant manager we never stopped helping people till we were actually closed and if there was still a line after we closed we helped them. It’s good customer service. We have given them a second chance and will never go there again! It makes me want to just stop going to sonics all together. Especially this one, I have never gone to a place that doesn’t want customers when they would of been making over $25 from us tonight. thanks for nothing to this sonic who is poorly managed!

To the store manager & management staff of Sonic-Drive-In
105 Grandview Dr. Summerville, SC 29483
(843) 832-4884
April 2, 2015

This is a formal letter of complaint about a visit I had to your establishment on April 1 2015 at 10pm. This is not an attempt at an April fool’s joke by any means. I have been coming to your restaurant several times throughout my years living here in Summerville. Last night at around 10 pm I arrived and placed my order. I sat in line for about 10 or so minutes while the other vehicles ahead of me received their orders. Some drove off due to the excessive wait time however I was hungry and patient. When I finally reached the pick-up window it was 10:12pm when I was able to pay for my order.
Here is where the problems began. I was upsized without my consent even though I asked for a small. As soon as I paid for my order I took note that my drink was sitting in the drink fountain. I thought it was empty and just needed to be filled. The cashier Ramika left her station and I did not see her again for a very long time. So I was waiting at the window observing the restaurant and counting the minutes. There were other employees inside your facility. A man with a blue shirt was leaning on a cash register for most of my visit. He might have been the manager I do not know. He did take one order outside to one of his customers but after that I did not see him return. The others were busy talking and visiting with other people who were parked outside. As I was waiting and watching they ignored my vehicle and people behind me drove away in frustration.
After about 15 or so more minutes my food was finally brought to me. The cashier Ramika took the coke that had been sitting and made a small coke and tried to hand me the drinks. I explained to her that I would like the drink remade as it was sitting for a long time. Why did she make 1 fresh drink and then try and give me a watered down drink? She growled out a loud and frustrated ARGHH and gave me both drinks with an angry expression. All because I asked for a little consideration I wasn’t even mad about the wait. However after her outburst I became angry and told her that I would be contacting her manager.
In summation I spent 30 minutes waiting on cold food. My cashier was very unpleasant and down-right rude. I was charged for a combo size I did not order. Everyone working including management ignored me for a long period of time with no explanation or apology. I was nearly given a watered down beverage that had been sitting instead of being offered my drink when I paid for my order. And to top it all off when I asked for a fresh drink I was given an indignant response. This is unacceptable I have wasted enough of my time, gas, resources, money, and energy dealing with problems like this one. I will not be a returning customer. I will be seeking my refund for the horrible service I received. Preferably in cash as I do not wish to waste more time checking for and waiting on my own money being returned to me. You may want to consider replacing your staff on the night shift as it is apparent that they do not care about your customers. If I were running a business such as this I would not ever treat someone the way I was treated during my visit. This has been an ongoing problem at this location I have overlooked this bad service before.

Allen N.
P.S. You may reach me via email at DAl***@yahoo.com if you have any questions or any news on this matter. Further more this message is being posted here as you have no email contact information available from your Contact Us link on your website. You seem to like giving your customers the run around.

I was a cook for Sonic for about 3 weeks, and everything was going great….AT FIRST. Well apparently I was hired right in the middle of a switch with the General Manager for the Sonic Drive-In in Creedmoor, NC. They have a horrible Assistant Manager and everyone who runs this store at this specific location in (Creedmoor, NC) is apparently a homosexual. If you are not a homosexual at this location then you are treated unfarely. I also suggest that this place be checked out and/or monitored for their sanitation. Apparently “I cleaned to much” and all I did was wash the dishes like they should have been, and swept up messes, and cleaned up a lot of grease so that people would not slip and get hurt, and I cleaned grease off the counters so that the customers food would not be soaked in grease from many types of foods. I was critisized for doing these things, and I worked very hard, and was still practically new to the company, but I was treated with disrespect and Asst. Managers who were basically slave drivers. I just walked out on this business the other day because I was being treated unfairly, and I couldn’t and wouldn’t take it any longer and I was still practically new, and they were already treating me as if I did nothing at all when all I did was work hard and try to do things legitamately for both the employees, and the customers health, and safety. I already have another job I like much more, but I feel bad for the employees who have nowhere else to go and watching the so called managers use that against them. I just highly recommend that the Sonic Drive-In in Creedmoor, NC be checked out and under supervision because people there are being treated unfairly and against the statutes in accordenance of the North Carolina State Law. I don’t think this “so called” business is being ran the way it should and could be, and I really hope that someone will ATLEAST look into it and help the under rated employees be treated right and fair. Thank you very much for accepting my comment, and I hope that maybe someone who reads this will have the authority to help the people who really need, and deserve it. Thanks !!

I am an Assistant Manager in Huntsville AL for Sonics. I have experience in the restaurant business ( Four Years) and I was a kitchen Manager and Service Manager and train, coach, and develop staff on food safety procedures and service procedures at McDonalds and Currently at Sonics now. I hope cooperate reads this. I have experience bias as a young black male. I have a bad supervisor who does not know how do his job and should be fired and my General Manager sucks ( Terry Web). I meet all the qualifications to be a General Manager but it seems as though black young managers are not good for Sonics to promote. I was told by several successful cooperate people for McDonalds is that, ” If you can run a shift well and good at developing crew , than you should be promoted to a General Manager.”
However, in most cooperate world today white young males are more acceptance to be put in General Manager roles.

I went through the sonics in Troy Alabama on February 4,2015. I ordered my food, the card reader to pay would not read my card. The girl came out with my food and I told her it would not read my card. So she tried it and ran it as a credit card. It did not go thru it said card expired. Well it’s not expired and does not expire til November 2016 and its a debit card. So I asked her to run it inside and she said it wouldn’t matter either way I even showed her the card was not expired. So I had to give the food back which was embarrassing and leave. I called the bank nothing is wrong with my card and we had to go up the road to Burger King. We love sonic but this was really embarrassing for me and my child!!!

My experience at sonic in glen rose TX was horrible, not only was my food incorrect but also cold. After waiting thirty minutes I asked for a mngr, was told Judy would be right out. So I waited and waited, finally I left. I came back the next day only to be told that there is no Judy working there. That will be my last time at that sonic.

Hello, I am writing to you because of the experience I just had about 20 minutes ago at a local Sonic Drive In located in Mustang Oklahoma. I believe the store number is 2459. First, Let me say that I frequent this particular location several times a month, and I have never had a bad experience.I have actually had amazing customer service prior to tonight’s event. However, tonight’s experience was unbelievable, embarrassing, and might I add frightening. I was so frightened by the hostile sonic employee that I had to leave without getting my order made properly. I am a single female of average build, and I was by myself when the events occurred. I was very dissatisfied and highly disturbed by the actions of your employee who would not provide me with a name. I just had to leave. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast burrito with no meat, extra egg, and extra cheese. Since I frequent this location often I know when the burrito is made with the extra egg that I request and that I am also charged for. I also know when it is not made with the requested extra egg because the burrito feel very thin. I must say that the extra egg is actually replacing the meat that I request to be left off of the burrito, and therefore feel that it should not be an extra charge. That is neither here nor there. I choose to comply and pay the extra charge for the extra egg regardless. I got my order and noted that there was not extra egg on the burrito. I did not open or even attempt to eat the burrito, and called back in over the order intercom and stated that I had requested extra egg and there was not extra egg. I traded the burritos when the car hop brought the new burrito back out to me. I said thank you and began to pull away. I again noted that the burrito felt very thin and through the actual drive through requested that I either get back the extra money that I was charged or I get a burrito made correctly. A large male sonic employee with messy reddish hair came to my car yelling at me stating that he made the burrito himself and he knew that it was made correctly. I stated otherwise and that again I just wanted a burrito made to my request or at least I wanted the extra money that I was charged. He took my burrito stating that I was going to get the same damn burrito back and I was either going to leave or he was going to call the police on me. Which I did not understand because I never got out of my car, I was not threatening in any manner, and I simply stated this is absolutely ridiculous I just want my burrito made correctly. He went in and through the window I could see him throw the burrito away aggressively in the trash. After some time he came back with money, but no burrito. I stated that I wanted my burrito. He stood at the door yelled in to the employees to get his phone. I sat there shocked and amazed at how completely confrontational he had become, and decided that I was not going to be a part of this continued dramatic show. If he was calling the police for no reason because he did not to do his job and display correct customer service and make the food properly I was not going to be a part of disturbing the Mustang police department when I know there are actual criminals to be caught. I am a single mother of twin daughters. I am an office manger of a large corporation, and I am working on my PhD in psychology. I am a normal contributing citizen that frequents many Sonic locations on a regular basis as I travel often. I am astonished that this has happened, and I am sure that this will be addressed appropriately. Thankfully my young daughters were not with me at the time because if they had been and they had been even half as terrified as I was by this employees behaviors there would defiantly have been more severe repercussions for his hostile behavior that would have caused them pain and suffering from the traumatic experience. Luckily I was the only patron in the car, and I have faith that you will do due diligence in making sure that hostile employees such as the one I encountered tonight are no longer employed with your company to ensure the customer service and safety that your frequent patrons deserve and pay for. Thank you for your time and immediate action on this matter. Rachel James

I was laid off after a robbery pending and investigation . I was the only one laid off it had nothing to do with me. After me contacting them for weeks they allowed me back to work they said they would compensate me for my lost wages I have yet to receive payment it’s going on 3months. I walked out of the beach location where they replaced me when I was returned to work where they never clocked me in. So I walked out. I have yet to receive that compensation I picked up a check for that day yesterday that didn’t even work they said there was a stop payment on it … I worked with SDI in Jacksonville fl I am reaching out here for help to get my pay.

Why should we even leave complaints- You as Corporate don’t give to wastes about why we come on here and complain about your business, which is really sad. I still have yet to recieve a response from “Corporate” from my last complaint. Since when is it ok for an employee out right make up their own prices on Sonic’s Menu? Just to make a cash wage at the end of their shift! Bakersfield, California on Niles and Morning Drive. You guys are a joke! You give drive-ins a bad name, maybe it’s it your questionable employees. When I don’t see the dollar menu on your menu board, and when I’m charged 6.35 for two 1.19 hamburgers and a 1.09 fry! There is something sick about your business as a whole or your employees, she couldn’t even give me a straight answer on the price of one hamburger! You deserve to get robbed by your cheating employees, if you allow them to steal from hard-working Americans! I believe the cashier’s name was Jodeen.

I have worked at sonic for over a year not only do I not agree with, the, way out is run but the fact they refused to pay their employees what they was supposed to.I was am assistant manager and was supposed to be paid $9.00 hr but I was paid $8.00 for months after being told by both GM and Co GM that my pay was correct but when,I added up the hours it didn’t add up and when I bought it to their attention they refused to correct the problem. I did all that work and did not get the pay I am owed

This is a complaint re: Sonic #4325 located at 907 Jordan Ln. NW, Huntsville, AL 35816. I visited on the evening of 10/29/14. I made a purchase and attempted to use my Birthday Coupon for an order of medium tots, which was supposed to be free with any purchase. However, I was told by 2 separate workers that she (never specified who, but I assume the manager) does not accept these types of coupons. It was a valid coupon with an expiration date of 11/25/14, printed out through my account on the Sonic Drive-in website.

This is wrong, unreasonable and totally unfair. So, how and why is the Birthday Coupon, and all the others, offered if Sonic restaurants will not honor it/them? Why even put out the coupon to customers, then not accept it? As a loyal Sonic customer, I am extremely disappointed at this shoddy disservice.

Please go back to the better quality of Styrofoam large cups. They are so flimsy that I have spilled a Rt 44 for the last time!!! When you pick it up to drink it collapse and the drink spills. I have just had to clean up an almost full Rt 44 from my livingroom sofa and all over the walls and floors. I go to Sonic once a day but I am tired of the poor quality of cups and the mess they cause so I will be taking my business else where! !

I visited the Sonic at 2506 Alcoa Hwy. this morning and ordered the breakfast toaster combo and also a milk. When I got to work and opened the milk the seal had been punched open and the bottle was half empty. I went back and all the manager did was give me another milk. I had by then completely lost my appetite and was very unhappy with the result.

Our visit to our local Florence Ms. Sonic is usually an amazing good food nice stuff but this time we noticed the managers blue trans am with him in it parked in a handicapped parking at the end of the covered ordering area. The main reason I am upset is two members my family and my 12 yr old son are disabled. We have the credentials on our plate. There is no indication on his vehicle he can park there. He didn’t just park there for a short time he got out leaving his trans am parked in the handicapped parking went in and started his shift. This is completely unacceptable and extremely rude. I took pictures and also stopped and spoke with our local police department. They also found it wrong but asked me to contact sonic corp before they could do anything about it. I did inform an employee who agreed but felt if he repeated my complaint the manager might get mad at him. That is really sad that an employee is scared of his manager. As I indicated I have pics of this horrible selfish unlawful act by your manager. I will give sonic corporate 5 business day to respond to me before turning this over to the U.S. Civil Rights Advocate and attorney that has been assigned to my son via tge ADA. I would be more than happy to provide the 5 picsI took via email as proof of my complaint. I hope this one employee is not the general attitude sonic has towards the didabled. You can email me at mark****@gmail.com or call me at 601-896-6748.

Regarding the New Buns: I’m in my 70’s and I used to eat a Sonic hamburger every single day (even against my family’s wishes). This went on for years. Now that you changed your buns, I will never eat there again. It changed the taste of the entire hamburger and it is terrible. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS BUNS!!! I’m afraid you are going to lose too many customers because of this. Thank you.

I travel all over the US and 1 out of 100 sonics actually have edible food. If it doesn’t take for ever to get your order, it’s wrong or cold. You have a great menu to choose from but your cooks and management are so lacking I do not believe I will be back to any. The worse location yet has been nw 23rd & 44, where the food taste like all cooked in same oil, where last night “for the last time” I got home to find burnt onion rings, dripping with oil, corn dogs that tasted the same, there was more “hard” bread on the burger than ingredients which cold and salty. I did not bother driving back to get replaced since the idea of drive through meant those on the run could get good food fast. I positive the second trip would not have produced any better results. My dental office is offered 10% off at this location but because of long wait and food, most all decline for something better.
Perhaps you can stops cutting so many corners for profit the food may improve.

I have been eating at sonic for years now and enjoy your food but i have to say this is the worse visit i have ever had! For starters our food took a good 15 minutes to get to us. As our food arrive the employee who delivered it, just tossed it down on are table and didn’t even ask if we needed any napkins or anything. I kind of understood that you guys were busy that night and i got over the food taking so long. But as we were eating an off the clock employee with their regular clothes on was outside where we were eating, she was talking to the guy that delivered our food to us, which who was taking the outdoor furniture in for the night. As the people that i was with were talking among’s our self, the off the clock employee came over to us and said, “You don’t have to whisper” which i am still not understanding what she meant by that. As she said that the guy that deliver our food came over. i said, sir i would like to speak to the manager. He said, “What are you guys mad about your food in a winny voice. I then asked for the Manager. he said, “I am the manager.” I was shocked to hear that! The one that just throw our food on the table. After meeting the Manager he then pull the chair out from underneath my girlfriend and sister and said you aren’t welcome here and told us to in exact words, “Get the XXXXX out of here” I then was like, wow what just happened. I asked him for corporate number and he said, “Its on the damn cup”. I told him that I will be contacting them. He then stated to me and said, “You can contact them all you want they don’t give too XXXXXs”. This is all coming from the manager “Josh Moore”. I was very disappointed that this is all coming out of a Managers mouth. This guy is suppose to be a team leader and a role model for all of your employees, am I right? I very discussed with how i was treat at your restaurant. I am hoping that you can get to the bottom of this and review the video of the Manger “Josh Moore” pulling the chairs out from underneath my girlfriend and sister when they were eating. This is really a disgrace from a business stand point and i hope this will get fixed. I will not be visiting another sonic for awhile now until the Management is fixed. I will be letting my colleagues and friend know my experience at sonic and hope they will make the right choice and not visit your restaurant anytime soon either. Really disappointed.

On August 23 at 8:34 pm I stopped at the Sonic in Somerville TN and ordered a #1 with Mayo, a Jr Deluxe Burger, Large Onion Rings, and a Large Coke. I didn’t stay there to eat. I got to going down the road trying to it an onion ring. I couldn’t get the inside chewed up. I lay it on my cup rest since it was dark. When I got home I made a picture of this on my phone. I was trying to eat the peeling that they had used for the onion ring. The onion rings were awful after I finally got one I could eat.

Anincidents at the Eufaual, Ok Sonic has given me cause for concern. Apparently an Asst Mgr was terminated for exposing inequities in the preparation of food. The remarks were made over social media which probably isnt the best platform, but this was only after direct attempts were made in person. It appears this individuals Constitutional Rights to “Freedom of Speech” have been violated. It is also rumored that the remaining employees were forced to sign doXXXXents stating they would not talk about “Sonic” on social media, therefore their Constitutional Rights have been violated. This is coming from a franchise that sports four (4) listings when queried on Facebook. To our understanding no policy preventing this existed prior to this incident. And what about the inequities that brought about this incident? Are there issues that could give cause for health and well-being for Sonics customers? I hope Sonic Corporate takes a look at this issue and at least interviews the former Asst. Mgr to find out what prompted this event.

We have been long time Sonic customers, However the Sonic located on Hwy 92 in Woodstock Ga needs some help they are constantly getting the orders wrong . We never get a meal without a problem, Our tea always has little black items floating in the bottom of the cup when we finish the drink, you advertised a nationwide 1/2 price cheeseburger promotion on Aug. 14, 2014 Mind you we live 5 minutes from this location. We ordered 4 cheeseburgers, While waiting on our order we observed 2 employees outside playing with a dog picking the dog up and letting it lick them on the side of there face. We get home to enjoy our meal and all the cheeseburgers are cold as if the were all precooked and set aside till ordered. When we tried to order the famous half price shakes we were told the ice cream machine was overwork and no freezing the ice milk this was at 8;44 pm that’s 44 minutes in to the half price time (really).I will never eat at this Sonic again I will go to another restaurant to get my meals from now on and I will be notifying the regional manager of this problem with his Hwy 92 location in Woodstock Ga Store # 5193

On August 6, 2014 around 11pm I visted a sonic located on jonesboro rd in union city, ga. I waited for 15mins before I had to yell out the window to get assistance. I was told that particular kiosk was broke. My problem is why not put a sign up so customers are not sitting there as well as if the machine wasnt working why did 3 different associates pass by me without notifying me of the problem. I asked to speak to a manager. the MANAGER was awful! Unprofessional and arrogant. He did not introduce himself but his name tag stated “Mike Lowry” in which I was told the name tags are not their real names. However, the manager didnt seem interested in my complaint. He advised me that the machine hasnt been working properly and he was sorry. I told him that they needed to put a sign so customers are not just waiting. I waisted my time! The manager stated that i insulted him because i told him he was unprofessional on how he handled the matter. That was a fact not an insult. He told me he didnt know what else my problem was because he already told me the machine wasnt working. I told him for the role he is in he needed best practices set in place so that he knows how to conduct himself in a professional manner. He then strugged his shoulders and ask me was i going to pay for the food because he had things to do and needed to go.

I was livid but more or so shocked that Sonic employees have the attitude that they dont care. He was a joke and showed me that he just has a job and can careless about the company let alone the customers. I wasnt expecting anything free but some sort of understanding of my frustration would have been appreciated considering the time i sat and waited. He told me that it was nothing he can do to satisfy me and if i had a problem look at the information on the reciept and call. Then he walked away! He took for a server to sincerely apologize. the problem is that they had a boy running the operation rather than a man. I will NEVER visit the location again and think Sonic should look deeper into customers matters rather than worring about numbers and revenue. We as customers are the reason the stores are successful but when you have managment that doesnt care and doesnt know how to handle a matter with leaving their personal feelings out.

6/4/14went to sonic in thomaston,ga 9:30 pm to get 1/2price milk shakes after 8:00 pm. My sister and I placed our orders. Everything seemed fine. 20 minutes later we pressed button on menu board. Ten minutes of waiting someone answered saying just a few minutes. After 11/2hours we left. No shakes.

6/14/14 we were. In drive thru at sonic thomaston, ga. 10:00 pm. Ordered half price shakes was told to pull into parking with order board and use the call button. We used button in parking space on board….placed our order. Now it’s 11:13 pm. At 11:20 pm I used call button young girl said they were running behind because there were only two people working. There were only two other cars and they were eating. Two people sitting outside eating.
What us going on with this store?…it used to be a we’ll run business.

Ok. Call me whatever! 7/9/14 went to sonic thomaston ga 6:30 pm. Drive thru. Young man answered. I ordered double chocolate extra thick shake. He said “huh”?? Never heard of that. What do you mean double chocolate?do you want more chocolate added to your shake? Very long pause….could hear laughter and several others talking about my order..making fun of me and my order.

After several more minutes and me continuing to ask for him to come back on speaker to talk to me he asks”did you want double thick shake? How do you make that? We’re these kids on drugs like pot? Something was definitely not right about this once excellent restaurant. I will never eat there again. I’ve had other bad experiences there since October 2013 . We must have lost a really good manager

Any time of day or nite that I drive by I see one to three cars. Used to be a lot more people are there. Are you sure this is being managed correctly? I won’t be eating there until I know the corporate office/home office has investigated thomaston, ga sonic restaurant and reorganized it with a better staff of people.

After a long time being a Sonic customer I have had it. One or two mistakes I can explain but now they never get my order correct. Today was the last event. My hamburgers were not correctly prepard (I asked for mustard not mayo), my mozzarella sticks were cold and had no marinara sauce and the fries were not just cold but dried out to the point that even the dog wouldn’t eat them. As of now I am a new Wendy’s customer. Too bad to see an old good company go downhill so badly.

only knows how to sell, but more important “Close” a sale that makes customer want to
come back more frequently.

Sitting in drive thru for 25 minutes. Over the last year, service have deteriorated. Quality of food has gone done. Leave now. Unfortunately once I got in line, the way the drive thru is setup, you can’t get out.

I’m sure sonic drive-in isn’t like it use to be a while ago.Back then they cared about both the employees and the customer and they I’m sure they made sure the quality of the food was excellent and the service was just the same.Nowadays you will be lucky enough to find good service that isn’t the bare minimum. My how things have changed. People are so worried about making a quick dollar that they forget about things like performance and the real meaning of customer service.I’m never coming to this sonic drive-in restaurant. I’m also going to tell my friends about this place and let them make their own judgement. What some people fail to realize is you don’t bring your problems to work–what happens at home stays there…keep things professional until your shift is over and you are away from the area of your job.I think Sonic’s employees (including managers and shift leaders) all should take courses on professionalism and communication. They even let me come to work and actually work without proper work shoes. What if I would have fell walking on those slick oily floors. What if I would have fallen..what would they have done??

I worked at sonic drive-in in southern Illinois( Mount Vernon). Their service is crappy. Their shift leaders are rude and mean to other employees, like they can snap their finger and we are suppose to do what the want immediately. They have you thinking you are going to be hired on as full time but you only get part time hours. What the hell am I going to do with 5 hours a day for 3 days a week. That’s not enough money to pay my bills.I felt lied to and I dont appreciate that. They are constantly hiring more and more people. Here’s an idea: give the people who already work for you whom you hired for full time–actually give them full time hours. If I’m not mistaken full time is 40 hours a week at least.I don’t even get half of those hours.I feel like I am wasting my time and with a pay rate of $8.25 an hour I might be able to pay my prepaid cell phone bill and pay my water bill.I’m sure they are going to eventually offer insurance…for what!!?? So I can work pretty much for free.I could see if I worked 3 8-hour days.If me working 3 5- hour days a week is their idea of me working full time well I hate to see what their idea of part time is.They have been cooking their food in old grease-its extremely dark- and mixing old fries with new ones and serving them to customers- that’s disgusting. Now that I’ve seen what they do,I would never ever eat at any sonic drive-in nor would I even feed it to my dogs or to any animal
it’s like all they are worried about is getting a raise and not how they treat their fellow coworkers.I’ve heard so many
bad things about this particular sonic drive-in and I didn’t believe it but once I found out first hand and confirmed what I was told was the truth,it made me extremely mad and sickened by the mere fact that these people have no morals nor do they have any respect for other workers as well as the customer. That’s just down right ignorant and selfish. It’s like they could care less, all they are worried about is making money

Due to Sonic not believing in my right to feel secure while patronizing their restaurants I will no longer patronize them I also instructed my financial adviser to divest of any funds that include Sonic. I will go to places where the corporation believe in my right to be secure. I went through the numerous checks within the state law to comply and prove worthy of this right, for Sonic’s board to think that now they want to strip me of this is arrogant and capricious. So long Sonic.

I want a refund of money paid twice on 4-26-14
I went to the Sonic Drive Store 4108 in Huntsville Al. on 4-26-14, when paying for my food I gave the girl my debit card. She came back 10 min. later and said the machine would not work and asked if I had cash, which I then gave her to pay my bill. The next day I checked with my bank and the money was also taken out of my checking acct. So I had paid for my food twice ($15.15). I called and talked to the store manager on 4-27-14 and said he would leave message for gm to call me, never heard from anyone and was also told they would not do a refund since it was for the day before. I have sent a complaint to the better business bureau and they did not respond to them either. Please advise on what I need to do.

My girlfriend got a job at one of the Sonic restaurants and quit shortly after because a better career opportunity presented itself to her that she couldn’t pass up. That same day, the manager there called her and left an unnecessarily rude message yelling at her to bring her shirt, hat and bracelet back that day. Upon getting there, my girlfriend walked in to turn in her things only to overhear that manager talking to another person calling my girlfriend a “..b!T@#” for no reason. All my girlfriend was trying to do by quitting was better her life. She didn’t deserve to be called that. Especially by a self important and extremely rude Sonic manager.

My daughter works at a SONIC in San Antonio and two certain employees take her order out and keep the money being paid for the food. She has had to pay four times for being short and the Manager doesn’t do anything to the thieves that steal the money paid for the order. Why do they keep employees that steal from other workers? I have told my daughter to quit because she can work at any other place since she has experience, but she loves it there. If this happens one more time I will contact my cousin ( a lawyer ) and we will sue for more than what she has had to pay to Sonic for being short and it’s not her fault.

Dear CEO, J. Clifford Hudson, CFO, Stephen C. Vaughn & COO, Omar R. Janjua,

I have been a loyal customer of Sonic for quite sometime now, but lately have been running into a problem with my local Sonic.
I have a medical condition called “PICA” that causes me to eat ice & often. I constantly have a cup with me. I have been going to Sonic for years now buying bags of ice to keep on hand at home for my condition. Now they refuse to sell me any ice at all!!! It’s not like I’m there every single day cleaning them out of ice!!!
I’ve tried calling all the contact numbers for Sonic Corp. to no avail to complain about this issue & can’t even get one of the numbers to ring & no way to leave a message on the other number!!! To top it off the number for the location in question is not even listed

I CHALLANGE SONICS COOPERATES TO DRINK ONE OF THEIR SHAKES WITH THE THIN RED STRAWS THEY SERVE THEM WITH GOOD LUCK.

FOR GOD SAKES IS A PERSON SUPPOSED TO SPECIFY THEY WANT THEIR TOTS HOT!!
I could settle for warm, but COLD?, OK mabey once or twice, but almost EVERY TIME, come on. The person putting the tots in the container knows they are cold, because there is no heat, no heat means its cold, its part of one of the five senses most humans are born with.

I WILL NOT COMPLAIN IF THE FOOD IS BAD BECAUSE OF A BAD EXPERIENCE 20 YEARS AGO AT A DIFFERENT RESTERAUNT- I DO NOT WANT YOU TO BRING ME ANOTHER- I AM AFRAID -I KNOW I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE-

WHEN I HEARD THE CAR HOPS DID NOT EVEN MAKE MIN. WAGE, BECAUSE YOU CONSIDER THEM WAITERS I FELT SO BAD AT ALL THE TIMES OVER THE YEARS I SHOULD HAVE TIPPED THEM – MAKE IT A PART OF YOUR MENU —TIP US IF THE FOOD AND SERVICE IS GOOD— OR CARHOPS LIKE TIPS— OR SOMETHING TO GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES THE INSENTIVE TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER EVERY TIME

I TIP EVERY TIME THE FOOD IS OK OR BETTER UNFORTUNATLY NO ONE HAS GOT A TIP THE LAST 6 TIMES I ATE THERE AND I’M ABOUT DONE EVEN GIVING ANY OF THEM ANOTHER CHANCE

EVERY ONE OF THEM IN RUSSELLVILLE AR , ALL THREE -NO QUALITY- THE ONE AT DOVER I HAVE TO HONESTLY SAY I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED-OTHERS SHOULD FOLLOW EXAMPLE

The new sonic that just open on 1022 west Wilson ave CHICAGO, IL 60640
I work at local hospital and my co-workers and I decided to try the new Sonic that had just open. We normally purchase large orders from local restaurants throughout the neighborhood. I went there and placed 7 orders totaling over $69.00 dollars, when I got back to the hospital with the orders, we noticed, we were missing several food items,2 chili hotdogs ,a double cheese burger, a regular hot dog and some cheese fries from the order, I called them and they told me to come back, I went back and ask for the manager and gave him the list of food that was missing from the order, he look at me and said really we missed giving you all these, I don’t believe we missed all these! In a sarcastic tone, then he said we are in the business of making money not giving out free food. At that point I was speechless; because I realized he thought I was trying to scam him out of some free food. (I just purchase over $60dollars of food)He then said with the crew I got working it is hard to believe they missed all this. Then another person came from the back I, I called back to the hospital and let him talk to a CNA that confirm they did not get there order, then the manager I was originally talking to said ,I am not going to give the food to you and he handed me some be my guest cards,(really!) I left and went back to the hospital and informed the people who were missing food what had happen, well one of the nurses called and spoke to them and they said for me to come back, at this point I was upset; because I burn my gas in my car going back and forth on my lunch break, they totally disrespect me and I am the program manager and it took a nurse for them to honor the order,
Well, we took Sonic off our list of lunch time restaurant

To whom it may concern,

I have a real complaint. My daughter worked for y’all in your Clovis, NM stores. She walked out today becau se one of your managers decided she could embarrass my child in front of everyone in the restaurant. A customer complained about her drink and asked to speak to a manager who proceeded to take the complaint. The manager then turned around and proceeded to get in my daughters face screaming and cursing at her. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I don’t know who gave her the right to treat her employees like that but I will tell you it won’t happen again. Mind you this same manager has also violated health codes. You need to address this problem immediately. If you need to talk to me please email me and I will give you my number. Thank you.

The sonic on West California Avenue, in Ruston, LA says “open ’til midnight or later” but they close at 10′ o’clock all of the time. This is a college town, it should actually stay open until midnight. The people who work here are some of the rudest I’ve ever met. onion rings waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru after waiting another 10 minutes in the stall. (Never was acknowledged) Yes I do tip but when I gave the girl at the window my money she said “Sorry I have no change to give you” I did not think that was right, sonic does not have 40 cents? Well she said wait a minute and came up with the money, the moral of this message is train your carhops not to ask for money and they may get a tip.

Thank you

Waited and saw people drive in ordered food several times after me and got there orders before I received mine. Had to ask where is my order. It was brought out to me got home everything was cold and drinks was watered down. Had to heat everything up before eating. I will never go to that Sonic ever again. i eat at sonic a lot. we have 2 in cleburne tx. 1 on main & 1 on henderson. after seeing the big colorful signs at both sonics advertising 1/2 price shakes after 8, i went to the henderson location around 8:30pm i ordered 2 mini shakes. clerk quoted the full price, i asked aren’t these 1/2 price after 8? to which she replied, oh thats only on saturdays. then, i guess the manager came out to my car & said they do not start that 1/2 price til next week, but the main location already has them on special. i drove away & as i did, again i saw the big marque with the colorful advdertisement for 1/2 price after 8. nowhere did it say at participating sonics only nor did it say starting next week. i called the manage back & told him this. he indicates that comes straight from corporate & they have no control over the sign. i told him this is false advertising & that i am not an unreasonable customer, but i was sure if they keep advertising this they will get some really irate customers. it just annoyed me enought that i will not go back to this sonic again. if your not going to stand behind your advertisement, take it down!!

I just received the worst service ever at any establishment. I went to the sonic at Admiral and Yale in Tulsa, ordered 4 shakes and tots. A blonde car hop came out with 3 shakes and when I told her that we ordered 4 shakes and tots she said “well I have 3 shakes and we’re closed”. As she was handing off the change to my friend, she threw half of the coins on the ground for him to pick up!! When she went back inside, she threw whip cream in to another employees face. If they had spent half the time on our order as they did playing around, you wouldn’t be receiving this message. I have never seen such disrespect. I’m sorry we showed up 5 minutes before closing time but I honestly didn’t know you closed at midnight. This is the only Sonic by my house and I will not be back. I will also tell all of my neighbors to not go to your establishment.

I knew that was not mine, she was taking them to the car behind me. I stop the young lady & ask her regarding, then she stated she would check after she deliver these. I waiting 15 to 20 min, then I drove off. I turn right around & went back & use the call in button & ask what was the manager on at this time name, which was Aaron & the address of this Sonic is 15917 So. Post Oak Rd. This is uncalled for 20 for slush. This is not the first time, so I decide it time to do something concerning this, it time for either more help or better manager. Thank you, after all I’m a regular customer & I’m 65 yrs old a senior citizen.

We were charged for cheeseburgers .We were told that it’s the same price for hamburgers and cheeseburgers now. This makes no sense. All the other hamburger places charge extra for cheese. But to pay for a cheeseburger when you want a hamburger is absurd. Who thought this scam up?

I went to Sonic in Sweetwater, TX this morning and got a Jr. Breakfast Burrito! After taking my first bite, I looked down at the burrito and there was mold on the eggs. I immediately asked everyone that I work with what they thought it was, just in case I was seeing it wrong, and all of them also stated that it was mold. I called the manager immediately and she got an attitude with me and basically called me a liar. The manager stated “There is no way that it can be mold because I made the eggs fresh this morning from liquid eggs.” I told her that I still had the actual burrito and that I had also taken pictures of it. She asked me if I would like for her to make me something else – ummmm no thank you, there is mold in my burrito and you want me to eat something else from there. I think I will pass. Something definitely needs to be done about this. I am prepared to show the pictures to corporate also!

Worm slushy anyone? April 18, 2014 at 8:42 pm

Yesterday I had gotten me a strawberry slushy from sonic. I went to get my toes done as I was getting my toes I was sipping on my slush and I thought had a strawberry stuck in my straw. So I had pop the top off and to my surprise I found a dead worm sitting on my straw. I had to do a double take. I even asked the lady sitting beside me what that had looked like and she even said it was a worm. So after I had got my toes done I took my slushy right back to the sonic I had gotten it from. I told them how I had found the worm and the lady asked me what do you want me to do about and then the manager I’m assuming had come out side and asked me what happen and asked me if I wanted another slush. I said no. Then he had asked me if I wanted my money back. It was happy hour, I had gotten a medium slush which was only $1.01. He could keep my buck. Then the manager had the nerve to look at the at the worm and tell me it looked like a piece of cookie… No way that was a piece of cookie. He never apologies to me or nothing. I left that sonic pretty disgusted and very upset.

In reference to the Sonic in Anderson, MO. If corporate had any sense whatsoever, they would pull this franchise from the morons that own it. Since it first hit our little town it has been plagued by employees with the IQ of an earthworm. They absolutely can’t, and could care less to, get the most simple of orders right. IF you actually get the item, or close to it, it’ll either be prepared wrong if you get it at all. You order a combo and the fries are missing and this happens ALOT, the drink is wrong OR missing, and can go on. This isn’t brain surgery people, plug in what people tell you, make it, and that’s it. I’ve witnessed the kids working there on many occasions preparing food with long hair and no hair nets, one male with long hair combing his mop right over food, females applying their warpaint right over food, coking and joking while the drive thru is backing up and upset customers are setting in their cars waiting for someone to answer the intercom. Most of the time the employees can be found out back smoking & sucking down free drinks. I hope it closes and we get a McDonalds, at least they hold their people to some kind of standard. IF YOU HAPPEN TO DRIVE THRU ANDERSON, MO AND GET HUNGARY, KEEP GOING!

I had ordered 2 sonic Reeses blast. both with extra Reeses but one without whip cream. A friend was eating his and had found pieces of Styrofoam on the bottom of his ice cream. Like someone had tore pieces of a sonic cup. They also didn’t give me my order right either. They gave me 2 reeses blast and one without whip cream and the other had like a squirt of whip cream on the side. Both didn’t really have any Reeses at all in them. It had less Reeses in it than just a regular blast.I waited there for about 20 minutes and saw at least 2 people in the door way just sitting there and one was drinking a drink. Some of the times when i do go to this sonic and they do get my order wrong or their employees are rude to me i never complained about it, but finding pieces of Styrofoam in my ice cream is kinda frustrating.

The General Manager Misty Tadder plays favoritism to her daughter Savannah Tadder who works up there with her and she never gets in trouble for ANYTHING she does. She also shows favoritism to certain other people up there like Chase her brother who works up there. She works you like a slave and doesn’t appreciate anything you do. Lived by the Sonic drive in at 291 and Cedar in Liberty Mo. Have been there twice in 8 years. First time burger was a mess looked like it had been mashed , shake had all the mix about an inch deep in bottom really bad. We decided to try it again and same result shake was terrible all ingredients an inch thick in the bottom of the cup. It’s a shame because I drive by this sonic every day just to leave my neighborhood. These two visits are in an 8 year span.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for 7 years. With that being said, I rarely eat out because of the high expectations I have that are not typically set when I go to an establishment. However, I leave early in the morning for vacation so I decided to stop into sonic and pick something up before going home. Sure enough, the whole order was messed up. How hard is it to take 2 minutes to repeat it back and double check it toake sure it’s right before it gets sent out? It’s not! Instead, it’s easier to do the exact opposite. So now, I’m sitting at home with my meal in the trash because you guys can’t do something as simple as repeat an order back. Waste of $15.00 and I WILL NOT return to another sonic location again.

I haven’t been in a while and was utterly SHOCKED at the $15.00 price I paid for this “special” for 2 HALFPRICE CBs, medium fries & shakes. If $3.59 is HALF price for a cheeseburger, no way will I EVER be going back to pay $8.00 for a freaking cheeseburger, and I suggest no one else does either. BTW Sonic must know they’re screwing people, because they’re HQ email page is STILL “unavailable.” I would think Mr. Smith would be happy enough being a multimillionaire but I guess not. They’ll never get another cent out of my pocket!

I usually check my order before I leave, but since I only ordered a hot dog, I didn’t think it was necessary. I first called the store and spoke with a female manager who seemed less than interested in speaking to me, so I drove back to the location and spoke to her in person…when I showed her the hot dog, her response was “Hmm…that’s weird.” She offered to remake my order (WTH) and I had to demand a refund!!! She never apologized, either. I am posting this to every website I can find- this is UNACCEPTABLE.

Today I went to sonic so my boyfriend could order a shake. I didn’t want to stop BECAUSE I was on my way to the hospital feeling Terrible. Now I admit my daughter should have been in the car seat instead of being in the front with me and her dad buts that’s no reason why sonic employees should have called the police on me. I am so mad I want to sue. Someone in sonic really called the police on me because my daughter was sitting in the front seat and now I got to appear in court in April. People I swear don’t have nothen better else to do with their time or life. Who calls the police on some one cause of that. REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!

So I’m an employee in a SE region. SC GA area. We are currently open during a state of emergency, and a codered for our county. 50000 people have no power. Trees are everywhere! And I mean some roads are impassable from power lines and trees. I’m off of work today and our power went out so my brother picked me up. I have no car to get to work. The temperatures for tonight is doing below freezing and the roads will have black ice. SC is not accustomed to this, yet our sonic will close at normal time. tickets have been going 30 minutes late. By the time the store Heya cleaned and closed it will be 12Am. Our GM is going to leave early to be safe with his family before it ices over. If you Casted anything about employees, you would look into this. It’s not safe. I don’t even work and impoutraged for my friends and fellow employees. Stores and county jobs are closed today because of this state of emergency. You need to make them close early. Money isn’t more important than the safety of your employees. If you truly have concern, email me and I will give you the store location and owner’s name. If I post it here, it’s possible I’ll get fired with how unfair things are in your cooperate structure. I apologize if that comes off as rude but it’s the truth.

We live close to the Sonic on Hwy 155 Flint, TX (ouside Tyler Tx). Tonight I ordered a hamburger mustard and tomatoes only. When I got home and took haburger bun off to salt it, the tomato had a black worm hole and was mushy. So sad an employee would put such on a customers hamburger. Didn’t know who to complain to here.

Let us face it, sonic is just not what it used to be and Sonic Corporate cares nothing about our complaints of overcharging and cold food. I have not frequented one since July 2013 because of these problems and I do not plan to try them anymore. For many years they were the best in the world of fast food but not any longer. Complain? Why? This is the age of “who cares, next!”

My daughter works at the Sonic in Lockport, IL. She has been an employee for almost 2 years not. She has come home multiple times upset because of the way the GM – first name Laurie handles problems. Just recently, my daughter was working while not feeling well, told her GM she didn’t feel well and was constantly harassed that she was working too slow – it was as if she didn’t believe she was ill. She even swore and yelled at her when there was a problem at the drive-up window while the customer overheard. My daughter was told to find someone to take over her shift and to leave the premises. When she got home she was so upset and unsure if she still had her job. My daughter told me the GM talks to all of the employees in this degrading manner. Yells and swears at everyone and makes for a miserable work environment. She also has only been scheduling my daughter to work only 5-6 hours per week which does not pay for the gasoline to get her there. This GM is taking advantage of these kids. They should not be treated in this manner. I feel the GM needs to take a class in anger management. Someone needs to do something about how problems are handled at this location – yelling and swearing is not the answer. My daughter is in the process of looking for employment elsewhere as I don’t want her in this miserable environment any longer. Unfortunately she must keep this job until another is found to replace. Please email me with any resolution or if you want to discuss further with my daughter she can provide more specific issues.

I find it rather disheartening that SONIC would hire as one of their managers a man with a record for burglary which was committed as recently as 04/24/2006 INITIAL CHARGE# 21-3715(a) BURGLARY OF DWELLING FILED INITIAL CHARGE# 21-3720(b)(3) CRIMINAL DAMAGE <$500 FILED and wasn't over until 10/19/2007 when they changed his status CHANGED STATUS FROM "O" TO "P" and who had another case as recently as 08/10/2007 for writing a bad check. Not just a little one either! INITIAL CHARGE# 21-3707(c) BAD CHECK <$1000 FILED continues to be so irresponsible that he was pulled over in Lenexa. KS as recently as Saturday the 23rd, of November 2013 and was found to be in possession of a misdemeanour amount of drugs (probably marijuana). LENEXA POLICE DEPARTMENT LN0048251, report number 2013-43158, MISD POSSESSION $1,000.00, PERSONAL RECOGNIZANCE, BONDED, NEXT COURT DATE, LENEXA MUNICIPAL COURT 02/02/11.
William Martin Byrd also has a case going on right now in civil court CASE NO 06CV04731 because he won't pay the state of Kansas for supporting his children for the past several years. Probably too busy spending all his money from managing at the SONIC at 13730 Blackbob Rd. Olathe, KS 66062 on drugs (marijuana) and picking up women to pay for the children he already has. You can check his civil cases and all the other types of cases by adjusting your search.
Luckily in my county in Kansas you can view all the district court records online. Just click on this link: http://www.jococourts.org/ put in the SONIC managers name William Byrd, William Martin Byrd, DOB 09/13/1985 and you'll see his case records online. Just make sure you put his last name and his first name in the correct box.
If you want to see his record with the Johnson County Kansas Sheriff then click on this link http://www.jocosheriff.org/index.aspx?page=57 If he doesn't pop up automatically than either choose; Show Currently in Custody (which he is right now) or Show Previous Booking History (3 years) if he happens to get a bond for civil contempt and is released.
Why are you letting down the general public like myself SONIC? I don't want my food served by an ex-burglar, who writes bad checks, won't pay his child support and who smokes so much marijuana that he probably doesn't know what he's serving me anyway! This man should not be managing anything!

I need your help please. I am a skating carhop and have been for 2 years. I was fine with my position until I moved to another sonic.Brian Beaty trained me. I believe his method of running a sonic is the best. If he isnt training the ATEAM, he should be. We were voted the best restaurant in Wylie, Texas, have very high mystery shop scores, our average curb time and reply time is very low. There is a precise system that needs to be followed. It’s not hard to do, I find it fast-paced and fun. I have a passion for sonic and our service. Sonic is service with the speed of sound and all about making you feel like you are our only customer. Satisfy you to the fullest and leave you with a smile. Perfectly consistent, 100% presentable and equally delicious. This new sonic I’m at is in shambles. My manager told me they dont care whatsoever about mystery shops. They cheat on times, bumping of orders before they are even half way out, tickets still going late. the lowest late ticket I have witnessed was 6:43; the highest was 28:24. I pulled up the manager console the other day and the av.time was at 8 mins. Honestly I almost cried. There are employees SITTING behind the fountain on their phone. Untucked shirts, random jackets and headgear, no dresscode for pants. They use NO measurement for their product (candies, cheese, slush syrups). Some cooks have no hat. There is no PM manager. The carhops take care of the money, they drop themselves. They dont check with anyone and they are completely rude to customers. If this sonic has an audit soon, they WILL be shut down. Thats just the tip of the iceberg, there is no telling what I havent seen already. Please, I NEED your help to save this sonic. It wont cost you any money and I really hate to “intude” on this manager. Its apparent to all of the current employees that she isnt doing the job she should. The original GM is out, sick with cancer, I havent met or spoken to him yet but Im convinced he doesnt know his store is running like this. Any decent GM would never let this happen. I would like to become a GM one day but seeing this store just makes me sick with determination. I’m not writing for you to promote me. I am writing to save the sonic name. There are bad reviews for this sonic all over the web and for some of them I did cry. Please please please contact me so we can get something done about this. Its not just my job, its my love. I love carhoping and brightening peoples’ days everyday but if I can manage other carhops to do the same (dont want to go over the top but) it could change the world. I will continue to work with my mouth shut, making all of MY customers happy and praying that someone at corporate cares about this store as much as I do and will help me. I do not have a phone at the moment but as soon as I do I will post my number on here under my name. If by any chance you want to reply please email me at sweety_leigh_XXXXX@yahoo.com or just drop by sonic in Gun Barrel, Texas. 330 N Gun Barrel Ln. Gun Barrel, TX 75156.

Any time that my home is invaded by outside advertisers, I have a right to complain, and I have complained for years about the Sonic TV advertising commercial. It features two men in a car with seat belts on eating and drinking.. This is not a natural setting and suggests two gays. I don'[t care if the two guys are gay, if the Sonic management is gay, or if their ad agency is gay. Everyone to their own orientation. However, I do not invite them into my home. Before my retirement, I traveled frequently and would often stop at a Sonic. They have a good product. So, why be degraded with poor advertising Sonic is a family place, and their advertising should reflect this. Why not a man and woman in a car, instead of two guys? As I said before, I have complained about this for years, but apparently Sonic and their agency just doesn’t get the point.

Your an idiot. I guess it makes me gay to go hangout with my buddies at the bar. I guess it’s gay when me and a buddy go to basketball or football games together. I even guess it’s gay when we have lunch together. Well my wife would say different but I guess a stupid homophobic twit such as yourself would know better. Have a wonderful day.

The Sonic on Round Grove Rd. in Lewisville TX is the first business that I have seen that’s has their whole family working there. Brothers, sister, aunt and cousin. What company does that? They steal time, doesn’t work, hang around the property or leave and come back on company time and get paid for doing just that NOTHING. They all look out for each other because they are FAMILY. As a manager I personally don’t think that’s good company practice to have so many family members working in one place unless you own the company, and that’s still not good for business. Employees can work 8 hours and they are not allowed to take a break. Upper management needs to get down on the manager running this location. Family is going to look out for family and they all cover for each other.

Ben, I’m not sure who to contact for our program, but am hoping you can give me some help and direction.

We have many Corporate programs with companies such as Nestle, Home Depot, FastSigns, Batteries Plus, ServPro and many more. Our program is mainly utilized for employee programs where all employees can buy a variety of products for work or outside of work such as golf shirts/wovens/outerwear/caps/etc, or uniform programs where they can buy uniform related apparel or for associations where all members can buy these products.

We would build you a free website and populate it with the products of your choice. We can build one website or multiple websites for different divisions or holdings. We are apparel manufacturers and we offer high quality apparel at great pricing in all categories. We stock the products, take the orders, decorate the products and fulfill the program and there is no charge for these services. We also offer a rebate program if you’re interested.

Please advise who I can speak with to discuss this program and give you more program specifics. Thanks for your help

Hello, I am writing to complain about some terrible repeated service. I LOVE sonic food but I found that the sonic in Holdrege, NE to be a total joke. It must be run by some very disorganized, sad excuses for people. I have gone TWICE and gotten mozzarella sticks and haven’t gotten marinara sauce. Seriously it’s that hard? Also second time this happened I was on lunch break and waited 25 MINUTES for my food. I had to take an hour lunch because of this. All they said when they brought food out was sorry. Really? It takes forever every time we go, so this isn’t fast food at all. I won’t go to that sonic anymore. It’s one of the poorest run restaurants I’ve seen and the people working there look dirty to, so I’m never sure if I’m gonna see toenails in my food somewhere or not. Sorry sonic but it’s been an all around terrible experience. Gross!

Sunday we went to Sonic in Oakland, TN (38060) to get a couple of Route 44’s and we placed our order, it came up in the screen, after a few minutes, the screen cleared. We kept waiting and after we noticed a couple of cars that came after we did got their order we pressed the button and asked where our order was. the idiot manager did not respond. So we flagged down one of the servers and asked her, she apologized and left, came back a few minutes later with our drinks but my husband asked to see the manager. she took our drinks back inside. we waited about 3-5 minutes before the idiot manager came out and looked like he was scared to talk to us. we had been there 22 minutes and still did not have our drinks or an explanation except the machine did it. you really need to take a look at who is running this particular sonic because he is the biggest idiot and we will not be back nor anyone that i inform of how poor the service and communication is.

I am so disappointed in sonic, only because I have been waiting for the sonic in hemet to call me about the trouble we experienced. I called the 800 number to complain about the pretzel hot dogs we purchased. we had to send them back twice because the hot dogs were ice cold. they sent the out again and still cold. so when we arrived at the home we called them up at the 800 number. they assured us that they would have the manager call us back and explain that this is not the way to run a business. still nothing, we called on the 10th of aug. at 8:30 pm. don’t you care about the phone calls and the work experience that was so faulty.
thank you for your time

I am writing you because I found some very disturbing things in and not in my drink. I ordered a route 44 diet strawberry limeade. Well, when I opened the lid I found a XXXXroach on the side of my cup—dead but still there and I poured my drink into another cup only to discover there were no strawberries in it. I didn’t get what I paid for and I think that you should know. I won’t be going there anymore and I think that my friends should know—YECH!!!

I am letting you know that one of your employees at the Vinita Sonic has made an enemy of my family. We stopped the other day and made a large order and when he came out all he did was complain our order was to large. Wondered why we would buy all this stuff at Sonic and didn’t just go down the road to Wal Mart and but it cheaper. You know this is a good way to run customers off not bring them in. I love Sonic ever since it came to Vinita. And when going out of town always look for a sonic. No I have not said anything to the manager. From what I understand it would be just a slap on the hand. This is why I am sending this to you. The employee’s name is Shawn. Don’t know his last name. Just thought I would let you know that this is a good way to loose customers.
Thank You

I have been going to Sonic for 5 years now and us soldiers have always received a military discount. I was told that Sonic has never done a military discount. The bad thing is I was there the night before and I did receive the military discount. The Manager came out to my car and told me that she was new and that she called the general manager and they said that they have never done a military discount. The Manager’s name and number is Anthony Martin 479-925-8304 and if you would like to talk about this you can call 479-295-XXXXX. Thank you and please look into this.

I went to the Sonic located at:6101 n. martin luther king OKLAHOMA CITY, OK 73111 at 11:45pm on 07/31/13 and the young lady working the window just pranced around with my money for my order which totaled $10.05. After 5 minutes of starring into my car and making fun of how my family appeared to her she glanced in the back seat where my 9 year old niece was seated and she screamed and said, “is that someone in the back seat?” They had 15 minutes til closing and she rudely made fun of our dark skin and appearance to try and get us to cancel the order. This was made very clear by the male worker mopping the floor who stood beside her and said, “We have 5 minutes left” and all this was done after my order and money was taken. This site needs to be taught professionalism when it comes to people. She really made my 9 year old niece feel bad for being dark skinned the way she frowned and yelled while looking in the backseat.

We stopped at Sonic on 7-30-13 around 12:30 for a sonic drink. When looking at the menu…there was a typed note taped up that said due to Oklahoma City schools starting the hours were changing. We pointed out to car hop that this needed to be corrected and she did not respond. Upon arriving back to work “an Oklahoma City school” I called to speak to corporate headquarters to let them know. It literally took 10 minutes for customer service to take my message and understand that there was 2 words spelled wrong. the words were “normal & business”. Please correct the spellings.

Can’t believe it. My husband and I had a coupon for buy one sundae and get another FREE. So we ordered a pineapple sundae and a [free]chocolate sundae. Price quoted at $2.35. Coupon for $1.99. Tax in Wichita, KS is .07 cents so total should have been $2.14. We asked the car hop why the extra 20 cent mark-up and looking at the receipt..they charged 10 cents for EACH TOPPING!!!!! Since when did a sundae NOT come with a topping…otherwise it is just a dish of ice cream. (S.Oliver). Then yesterday I stopped at Sonic on E Harry, ordered a Root Beer float and , you guessed it….cost 10 cents for the Root Beer flavoring!!!! What the hey????? Someone is filling their pocket and Braums and McDonalds, DQ are looking better all the time. I LOVE their cherry cokes but next time I get one they will probably charge for the cherry flavoring 🙁 I also note there are no replies to these informative e-mails….another BIG NO-NO !!!

We went to sonic this past Saturday. I usually love Sonic. However, after this visit, I will NEVER go back! About half way through my burger, I found a ROACH! I literally spit my food out and almost threw up. How disgusting it was to find a freaking roach o
In my food!!!!
We took the food back in and got a ” oops sorry” kind of reaction and that was that. What happened to customer service?!? What happened to cleanliness of food establishments and customer satisfaction? ” oops sorry” doesn’t even begin to cover the fact that I’m scared for life from ever eating a hamburger again. That was the most disgusting thing I have ever had happen to me. Management sucks for their lack of caring and sympathy in the matter. I am disappointed in Sonic. Every single one in Round Rock,Tx sucks! And the one this happened at is in Hutto. Don’t EVER go there!!

I go to 2 Sonics, 1 in Liberty, MO and 1 in Smithville, MO. Service is good. But, on more than one occasion when I get the ice cream, it is bad. I believe the staff does not know how to correctly mix the ingredients, or how to run the machines. Very disappointing to drive home and throw food away, with gas as it is, I can’t drive back. I wait a while then give Sonic another try, just last night we threw the food away, very sad in this day. Thank You I hope Sonic does read this, its easily fixed I’m sure. Thank You.

I just went to the sonic in Wichita Kansas (21st and Greenwich). I specifically went to get my son and I a cream Slush. They have signs all over from 2-4 half price on slushes. When I got to the window I was charged full price. I asked about the half price it was 2.15pm. I was told cream slushes are not included even though the signs don’t say that. It says slushes. I asked for the manager, she came to the window, I told her the story. Her response was they are not half price….Have a good day. Then she turned and walked away. What terrible customer service….not to mention false advertising.

I went thru the Sonic drive-in at your Valley Ave.,Homewood, Al location at 1:43 PM CST, today. The service was great but I saw something very desturbing that I need to share with you. A young girl, I would say about 9 years old, was going to the restroom. She opened up one door and then she opened up the other door. I don’ know if she went in or if someone was in them. The awful thing was that the doors do not have signs on them specifying men or women. The little girl did not know which one to enter. If someone had been in there she could have been hurt, or molested. No adult was with her. She was alone and I felt so concerned and afraid for her. When she opened those doors she didn’t know if anyone was inside or not. I had to move in line but I told the lady at the window about it
and she was very concerned, also. I told her I was going to contact Sonic about this matter. Please address this serious issue and have it corrected. This is a dangerous location. Not very safe.
Sincerely,
Jan

On Feb1,2013 my family went out to eat at the Sonic off I-40 and Kickapoo in Shawnee Okla. I was appalled w/ what I saw. After ordering our meal their was a young man who come out to the car next to ours. His pants were well below his underwear. You could see all his underwear. When he went back in he jumped the rail and oh the show of underwear. He went back inside to work. We got our order and it was cold. All 3 hot dogs. My husband got diarrhea from his. The while we were eating another youPng man came out with the same pants problem. This time his thumbs were digging in his underwear like he was trying to scratch his rear. Then he talked to someone in a white car and then went back inside. I love Sonic but is this the kind of service or image you want. I almost called the state health dept. it was somewhere between 5:30 & 6:00 pm. It was to late I’m sure. I won’t be eating in that Sonic for a long time, if ever. The 2 boys were gross. My e mail is at the top but my # is 405-623-XXXXX. Thank you for your time.

I have made several requests to have the drive-thru speaker volume turned down at the 7521 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City, MO. Each time I’m given an apology and that’s it.

Today I was told it was corporates over site for the music and volumes. I’m hard of hearing and if I say the volume is too loud, there must be something wrong on your end.

Please correct this issue and set a standard industry wide for future customers.

Thank you.
