Imran Cronk founded Ride Health in 2016 when he realized that many disabled and elderly patients can’t visit a hospital or miss doctor appointments due to a lack of transportation.
Cronk developed Ride Health, a New York City-based real-time ride coordination platform that improves access to care. As of January 2020, the company operates its platform in 10 states. Ride Health aims to optimize utilization across all transportation modes, including public transit, ride-hailing, wheelchair-accessible vehicles, basic and advanced life support ambulances, and ambulettes.
In March 2020, Ride Health developed a program that identifies those en route to hospitals or medical facilities for testing and can notify transportation providers if a subject tested positive for the coronavirus.
Ride Health maintains a corporate office in New York City, New York.
