The American National College was incorporated in July of 1986. The school is based in Chamblee, Georgia. American National College originally consisted of 3 schools; Iverson Institute, Royal Beauty Careers, and Circle J Beauty School. In 2013, the school decided to put all campuses under one name: American National College.
American National College originally began as a school of technology, but added cosmetology classes in 2003. Over the past 13 years, the school has added a wide variety of classes, including computer networking, English as a second language, AA degrees in Business Administration, Health Care, and Computer Science. The school began accepting foreign exchange students with I-20, M-1, and F-1 visas to enable foreign students to study in the U.S.
The school is accredited by the U.S. Department of Education as a post secondary educational institution, as well as by the Council for Higher Education.
